Biden admits failure! Biden admits Hillary Clinton would have been a better VP choice!

As the democrats continue their daily circling of the toilet, and childish smear attacks at VP Sarah Palin, we finally have an admittance by someone on the “Obama Team”. But it has nothing to do with Palin. It has to do with Obama’s judgement. According to Fox News, Joe Biden defended Hillary Clinton at a town hall meeting in New Hampshire, telling the crowd that the New York Senator may have made a better Vice Presidential pick for Barack Obama than he did.

“Make no mistake about this, Hillary Clinton is as qualified or more qualified than I am to be Vice President of the United States of America,” he said to one man who expressed his relief that Obama chose Biden over the former First Lady because of “the things she’s done in the past.”

Biden, who told the crowd at a Boston fundraiser this morning that he’d refused Obama’s request for help during his primary battle with Hillary because of his long friendship with her, disagreed with the Clinton criticism.

“Quite frankly, it might have been a better pick than me,” he said with a grin. “I mean that sincerely. She is first rate. So lets get that straight.”

The RNC immediately seized on the comment, sending it out to supporters along with a video clip less than an hour after Biden said it. The McCain campaign did the same.

Spokesman Ben Porritt says “Barack Obama’s most important decision of this election and Biden – the candidate he selects suggests himself that he wasn’t the right man for the job and that Hillary Clinton would have been a better choice. Biden certainly has a credible viewpoint on this.”
