A national holiday in honor of Hussein?

And it just keeps on getting better by the day. I saw this great piece over at Michelle Malkin’s website about plans being made to promote a national holiday for Hussein:

Plans are being made to promote a national holiday for Barack Obama, who will become the nation’s 44th president when he takes the oath of office Jan. 20.

“Yes We Can” planning rallies will be at 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. every Tuesday at the downtown McDonald’s restaurant, 1100 Kansas Ave., until Jan. 13. The goals are to secure a national holiday in Obama’s honor, to organize celebrations around his inauguration and to celebrate the 200th birthday of President Abraham Lincoln, who was born on Feb. 12 1809.

At 7:30 a.m. on Inauguration Day, Obama Cake will be served at the downtown McDonald’s, and a celebration is scheduled for 8 p.m. to midnight Jan. 20 at the Ramada Hotel and Convention Center, 420 S.E. 6th.

This is a sad state of affairs when we have a presidents day already to honor all presidents. It would be selfish if we had to single out all individual presidents and give each a holliday, Sounds incredibily stupid. What next…Oh this president was Irish so we must have an Irish presidents day? Or on St Patrick’s day lets make it St Patrick/Irish/presidents day, or better yet how about a Black History Day/Black Presidents day? I feel this is way too much show boating… We have not gotten out of the poor economy and “Hell” when is the minimum wage going to be set above the “Sub-Standard/Below Poverty rate…Huh? Well it is not done yet and it may never be done. 40 years and more the minimum wage has not been above “Sub-Standard/below poverty rates. The last time I personally worked when the mimimum rate was fair was in 1972. If Obama elect. wants to make a show of power, he would RAISE THE MIMIMUM WAGE TO A STANDARD THAT WOULD COVER THE RENT OR MORGAGE COST SO A WORKER CAN PAY HIS RENT/MORGAGE MONTHLY OFF THE MIMIMUM WAGE!!! Only then would he deserve to be praised with a holiday but he has not done anything yet. A Holiday is for a Presidents deeds done not just because you are popular…RESPECT HAS TO BE EARNED NOT DEMANDED. IF DEMANDED THEN THAT IS DICTATORSHIP!!! PEACE OUT. D.C.

This is just another dumb liberal idea! I doubt very seriously that Obama would ever allow something like this to happen. Even though his idiots like Palosi and Co. would love it!
