Happy New Year everyone

This being the last post for the year 2008, i’d like to wish everyone a happy new year. The site, since openning in August has had a tremdous  amount of activity, from both those who agree with my perspective, and those liberals who think that libs can do no wrong. Thats ok, because without both groups, this site wouldn’t be the success that it is. I’d like to thank everyone who has helped (and currently helping) with site development, and all users. Big plans set for 2009 for the site, but most importantly 2009 is shaping up the be one of the most important years (if not the most important year ever) for the United States of America. Here’s hoping that 2009 shapes up to be a lot better for this country than 2008 was  (i suppose it cant get much worse). Anyway, happy new year everyone, and God Bless America!

Obama And That Other Ponzi Scheme – Norman Hsu fraud trial

Madoff who? Another big ponzi scheme that you probably never once heard about in the liberal MSM is about to hit the fan. According to the smoking gun: As if being linked to one high-profile criminal case weren’t enough, President-elect Barack Obama’s name may soon pop up in another federal prosecution, this one involving a massive Ponzi scheme (not Madoff, but instead Norman Hsu). In addition to the Rod Blagojevich pay-for-play probe, Obama could figure in the upcoming fraud trial of Norman Hsu, the disgraced Democratic fundraiser who was charged last year with operating a $60 million pyramid scheme. According to investigators, Hsu, a major Hillary Clinton fundraiser, pressured investors to donate money to political candidates with whom he was aligned. In a letter last week to U.S. District Court Judge Victor Marrero, Hsu’s lawyer, Martin Cohen, requested a 60-day delay in the start of Hsu’s trial, scheduled to open January 12 (Cohen cited the “extraordinary level of negative publicity” generated by the recent arrest of alleged Ponzi schemer Bernard Madoff). In his December 22 letter, a copy of which you’ll find below, Cohen also noted that Hsu was already “notorious for his political activities” and that it was “inevitable” that his client’s “connections” to Bill and Hillary Clinton “and other democratic notables–including perhaps the president-elect–will be introduced at trial.” Before becoming a key fundraiser for Hillary Clinton’s presidential bid, Hsu co-hosted a 2005 California fundraiser for Obama’s political action committee and introduced the Illinois Democrat to Marc Gorenberg, a Silicon Valley venture capitalist who later joined the Obama campaign’s national finance committee. Prosecutors allege that Hsu directed his investors to donate money to specific candidates, and then reimbursed them in violation of federal campaign laws. Unswayed by Cohen’s argument, Marrero declined to delay the trial, which will begin a week before Obama’s inauguration.

What to expect for 2009 – predictions

So what’s in store for 2009? As we are just now hours away (at the time of this posting), we are about to into a historic, yet scary era, with a historic presidency, a hard-pressed economy and Americans trying hard to balance culturally conservative values with political solutions. It has been an impressive year for women with Hillary Clinton and Sarah Palin confidently entering into the limelight. Both women sparked hot blogging conversation for months. What will the headlines reveal in the next 12 months and what do culture-making women think will happen in 2009? Check out Culture 11’s political and cultural predictions:

The brains of a Palestinian – either he doesn’t like OJ Simpson, Orange Juice, or simply is too stupid to spell Jews.

death_to_all_juice.jpgPalestinians cry and moan about the recent Israel attacks in the West Bank (Falling the mention that they started the whole sequence with their random rocket firing into Israel). Now Palestinians all over the world have been protesting about the Israeli attacks. As disgusting as it is, it also shows the double standard. Its ok for them to randomly attack Israel for no reason, and team up with Iran for terrorism, but god forbid someone should hit them back.

The photo above has been making the rounds this week, from LGF to Right Wing News to Q&O, and what better way to end the year but with a photo-caption open thread that relies on the idiocy of protesters?  This comes from a pro-Palestinian demonstration in Manhattan on Sunday, where participants wanted to show both their intelligence and their tolerance.  The latter can be found in the small print just above “Juice”, where the protester managed to spell (Zionist) correctly.  It’s a good thing he clarified, because I had a couple of alternate takes on what this meant before I expanded the picture:

  1. He’s unhappy with the sentence OJ Simpson received in Las Vegas.
  2. Tropicana was really behind the 9/11 attacks.
  3. Got Milk?

British Paper whining about Hussein Obama teeing off in Hawaii as gaza goes up in flames like it should

Hussein Obama’s honeymoon is about to end in three weeks, so why not teeoff and hit the links those last few times before you actually have to work and not just vote present? The American media rises above such pettiness, of course, content instead to admire the uber-coolness of his shorts.

He joined a group of friends at a private club near his £6million rented, beach-front holiday home in Hawaii yesterday.

Meanwhile, 9,000 miles away in the Middle East, Israel rejected any truce with Hamas today and said it was ready for ‘long weeks of action’ in the Gaza Strip…

Mr Obama has made the decision to leave all comments to outgoing President George Bush, who has so far chosen only to attack Hamas.

On the golf course, his security team even turned away a letter from pro-Palestinian campaigners urging him to help stop the four-day-old violence.

Obama and his manboobs continue to party in Hawaii – send out letters begging for donations!

Michelle Malkin posts the latest mass e-mail from the Obama perpetual fund-raising machine. It doesn’t end.

Vicki L. Iseman sues the New York Obama Times for $27 million!

vicki-l-iseman-picture.jpgVicki L. Iseman has filed a lawsuit against the New York Obama Times for $27 million Tuesday over an article that she says gave the false impression she had an affair with Sen. John McCain in 1999. The NYT fishwrap of course stands by their story. Vicki L. Iseman filed the defamation suit in U.S. District Court in Richmond. It also names as defendants the Times’ executive editor, its Washington bureau chief and four reporters. Vicki L. Iseman represented telecommunications companies before the Senate Commerce Committee, which McCain chaired. In February, as McCain was seeking the Republican presidential nomination, the Times reported that McCain aides once worried the relationship between Iseman and McCain had turned romantic. Hopefully Vicki L. Iseman will be the final nail in the coffin to this fishwrap.

Blago names 71 year old Roland Burris to Obama’s senate seat in race-baiting, white guilt press conference

Affirmative action is alive and well in the state of Illinois. The most corrupt state in the union, known as the Lincoln state, but should be known more as the Capone State, or the Ayers state, or the Wright State, or the Farrakahn state. Today in a press conference, Blago named former Illinois Attorney General Roland Burris, 71 to fill Obama’s vacated senate seat. It seems ole Roland had lobbied the governor for the position in recent weeks. (pay to play anyone?) Burris made a previous attempt at the Senate seat in the past — unsuccessfully. In 1984, he was beat out for the Democratic nomination by Paul Simon. In the disgust race-baiting press conference, after Blago’s announcement Burris just happened to notice  Rep. Bobby Rush — a former Black Panther and the only person to defeat Barack Obama in an election in the crowd, and called him to the microphones. What follows is some of the most obviously, yet digusting race baiting you will ever see. Check out the video clip of the entire press conference below, including Rush’s race baiting:

After the white guilt trip by Rush, Below that you’ll find Lt. Gov. Pat Quinn responding to Blago by tearing him to pieces.

The Illinois secretary of state says he won’t certify the appointment. But does he have to?

Hit the road hag! Cynthia McKinney sailing to Gaza with relief supplies to help those filthy Palestinians!

Former Georgia congresswoman Cynthia McKinney is a high-profile member of a boatload of activists that set sail Monday from Cyprus to deliver medicine to war-torn Gaza. McKinney, who ran as the Green Party candidate for president, sees the voyage as a humanitarian mission, said her father, former Georgia state Rep. Billy McKinney. Lets hope the ticket is one way, and this hag never sets foot back in the US again. Make sure to wear your burka Cindy. Actually, why didn’t you wear one in Georgia?

Update: HAHAHAHAAHAH Carl in Jerusalem reports that the S.S. Hagboat has been turned back by the Israeli Navy:

The yacht carrying former US Congresscritter and Green Party Presidential candidate Cynthia McKinney tried to outmaneuver an Israeli navy gunboat off Gaza Tuesday morning. The yacht rammed into the Israeli gunboat, which then turned it around and sent it back to Cyprus.
Foreign Ministry spokesman Yigal Palmor said the boat ignored an Israeli radio order to turn back early Tuesday. He said the boat tried to outmaneuver the navy ship and crashed into it, lightly damaging both vessels. The navy then escorted the boat to the territorial waters of Cyprus.

Protest boat organizer Derek Graham said the Israeli ship “rammed” the protest boat.
According to the ‘Free Gaza’ website of the boat’s organizers (which I will not grace with a link), the boat is now headed to ’safety’ in Lebanon.

Congrats to Grandma Sarah Palin!

Congrats to Sarah Palin on her first grandkid. Or, if you go by the bogus reports during the Sarah Palin character assassination during the election cycle, its her  second, the first having been born to the same woman, er, eight months ago.

Bristol Palin, the 18-year-old daughter of former Republican vice-presidential candidate Sarah Palin, gave birth on Sunday to a healthy 7 lb., 4 oz., baby boy in Palmer, Alaska.

“We think it’s wonderful,” said Colleen Jones, the sister of Bristol’s grandmother Sally Heath, who confirmed the news. “The baby is fine and Bristol is doing well. Everyone is excited.”…

Bristol Palin is currently residing in Wasilla and completing her high-school diploma through correspondence courses.

Johnston is studying to become an electrician. He told the Associated Press in October that he and fiancée Bristol plan to wed in 2009 and raise the child together.

I’m sure if one of Hussein’s daughters was of the same age as Bristol, and they just gave birth, this would be front page news (just like the Obama pornshots) are now, and everyone in the media would be getting that thrill up their leg in joy. Oh well.

Barack the magic Negro parody = bad – F**K Bush bumperstickers good!

I tried to avoid this Barack the magic Negro topic as long as I can, as at the time it seemed rather stupid and useless, but of course the whiny liberals have made a mountain out of a molehill.  Peter Yarrow at the Huffington Post fumes over the “Barack the Magic Negro” parody that has RNC candidate Chip Saltsman in hot water. All of sudden — after eight years of “F**k Bush” bumper stickers and “Kill Bush” assassination chic and Bush-or-Chimp parodies — the liberal left is so  concerned about insulting the office of the Presidency? Why am I not surprised. And just because the whiny liberals made such a big deal about this, here is the now famous Barack the Magic Negro video:

Fashion Writer: Michelle O’s a ‘Goddess.’ Palin is ‘Worst Dressed’

With all the hubbub about Sarah Palin’s clothes bought by the RNC, all the focus on the $150,000 spent by the RNC to pay for them, that were eventually donated to chairity, and not a word about the hiddeous dress Mrs. America hater Obama, such as on the night Obama won the election, now comes this gem from some UK fashion writer (maybe this British coward is still caught up in Ajad’s Xmas informerical):

Is there any safe place a person can go these days without being told Michelle Obama is “a goddess [who] stepped onto the world stage and made it her ownmarried to someone who is, frankly, a sex god,” or that Sarah Palin is the “worst dressed” woman in the world “who may have spent $150,000 on six suits but still resembled a hopelessly sexless, up [sic] hockey mom who buys all her clothes from Wal-Mart?”

This month, a goddess stepped onto the world stage and made it her own.

First Lady-in-waiting Michelle Obama, who looks as chic in a chainstore’s $148 printed tank dress as she does in Narciso Rodriguez designer wear, proved that you can be tall, have unruly hair, be amother [sic] of two demanding daughters, be married to someone who is, frankly, a sex god, and come out smiling, confident and truly a style icon. [...]

WORST DRESSED

There were lots ofcontenders [sic] for thistitle [sic]. Dannii Minogue, the Geldof girls, Beyoncé, Madonna inthat [sic] dress made of grass. But the award simply has to go to Sarah Palin, who may have spent $150,000 on six suits but still resembled a hopelessly sexless, up [sic] hockey mom who buys all her clothes from Wal-Mart.

Gay man backed for Navy secretary

Some top retired military leaders and some Democrats in Congress are backing William White, chief operating officer of the Intrepid Museum Foundation, to be the next secretary of the Navy — a move that would put the first openly gay person at the top of one of the services, according to the Washington Post. The secretary’s job is a civilian position, so it would not run afoul of the ban on gays serving in the military, but it would renew focus on the “don’t ask, don’t tell” policy as President-elect Barack Obama prepares to take office.

Poll: 60% of active-duty service members uncertain or pessimistic about Obama

I’m actually surprised its only 6 in 10. Military Times subscribers favored McCain by 45 points in October — but not good news either.

The survey overrepresents soldiers and underrepresents minorities, women and junior enlisted service members, so bear that in mind.

In follow-up interviews, respondents expressed concerns about Obama’s lack of military service and experience leading men and women in uniform.

“Being that the Marine Corps can be sent anywhere in the world with the snap of his fingers, nobody has confidence in this guy as commander in chief,” said one lance corporal who asked not to be identified…

“How are you going to safely pull combat troops out of Iraq?” said Air Force 1st Lt. Rachel Kleinpeter, an intelligence officer with the 100th Operations Support Squadron at RAF Mildenhall, England. “And if you’re pulling out combat troops, who are you leaving to help support what’s left? What happens if Iraq falls back into chaos? Are we going to be there in five years doing the same thing over again?”…

While nearly half of the respondents said they disapprove of Obama’s proposal to withdraw combat brigades from Iraq within 16 months of taking office, a slightly higher percentage said they support the Status of Forces Agreement calling for U.S. forces to leave the country by the end of 2011.

The name that keeps on giving – Think sweet Caroline Kennedy is qualified for the senate? Apparently 52% of Americans think she is.

Two possibilities. Either contempt for Congress has swelled to the point that voters figure she can’t be worse than the current crop — if we’re willing to stoop to electing Senator Franken, why not Senator Princess? — or George Carlin’s assessment of the public was right all along. Which would be ironic in this case given his politics, as he’d probably have been warmer to the idea of Caroline in the Senate than you or me. I guess this lends yet more credibility to those Euros that say American voters are stupid. First Hussein gets 52% of the vote and now it looks like this Kennedy, who has NO political experience in her life, other than living off her father’s name is somehow “qualified” to be a senator.

God help us, we actually have a gender gap on this question.

But the poll also indicates there’s a gender gap, with 57 percent of women saying Kennedy is qualified. That number drops to 47 percent among men, with 46 percent of male respondents saying Kennedy is not qualified.

“Men may think of qualifications for public office in terms of work experience, while women may be looking at a candidate’s life experience,” says CNN Polling Director Keating Holland. “Caroline Kennedy has a personal history that may be compelling to many women, but her resume is not very long, and that may be a mark against her to some men.”

Blago won’t get subpoenas for Emanuel, Jarrett, Jackson

Sorry Blago, but the Illinois House will not subpoena Rahm Emanuel and Valerie Jarrett to force them to testify at the impeachment hearings after Patrick Fitzgerald told them it might compromise his investigation.  Although that appears to be a defeat for Rod Blagojevich and his attorney, it actually works in Ed Genson’s favor in a key way:

Gov. Rod Blagojevich’s attorney will not get to call key aides of President-elect Barack Obama to testify at impeachment hearings after U.S. Atty. Patrick Fitzgerald told an Illinois House panel doing so would “significantly compromise” his ongoing criminal investigation of the governor.

The chairman of the House impeachment committee, state Rep. Barbara Flynn Currie (D-Chicago), will respect Fitzgerald’s request and not issue the subpoenas for incoming White House chief of staff Rahm Emanuel and close Obama friend and adviser Valerie Jarrett, panel spokesman Steve Brown said Saturday. Ed Genson, Blagojevich’s attorney, sought their testimony before the impeachment panel.

Brown said Currie, who holds the power to subpoena witnesses before the 21-member panel deciding whether to impeach Blagojevich, also will not call two other witnesses Genson sought: Democratic U.S. Rep. Jesse Jackson Jr., whose emissaries allegedly offered to raise cash for the governor in exchange for the seat, according to federal prosecutors, and Nils Larsen, a Tribune Co. executive vice president who helped engineer Sam Zell’s purchase of the company.

Genson requested the testimony of the two Obama advisers after the president-elect’s transition team issued an internal report Tuesday that noted Emanuel had one or two telephone calls with Blagojevich and about four calls with Blagojevich’s then chief of staff, John Harris, about filling Obama’s vacant U.S. Senate seat. The report said Emanuel recommended Jarrett to Blagojevich for the seat.

Obama is now considered “uber-cool” according to Reuters!

obamashaka.jpg And the media slurpfest continues. Although, this appeared “only” on the the company blog, you gotta love Ross Colvin’s excitement. This “uber-cool” statement reminds me of the famous Chris Matthews getting that “thrill up his leg”. Maybe Ross is getting that that thrill up something else. BTW, isn’t “uber-cool” kinda like the terms warez kiddies use, like l33t, w00t, kthxbye, etc? Of course with the hat backwards, he could also is considered by some to look like a gangbanger, but what do I know.

Barack Obama may be the first U.S. president who can successfully pull off the shaka, a Hawaiian greeting Hawaiians say has various meanings, from “hang loose” and “cool” to “thanks.”…

The president-elect, looking uber-cool with his White Sox baseball cap on backwards, flipped the shaka to a crowd of about 30 people as he left a gym on a Marine Corps base on the Hawaiian island of Oahu, where he is vacationing.

Of course, David Alexender  on Xmas Eve called Hussein Obama “Reaganesque” after Barack Obama went to a gym at a military base in Hawaii the other day and actually  he actually returned a Marine’s salute. Kinda ironic for someone who has done nothing but diss the Iraq war, and say our troops were doing nothing more than airraiding villages and killing civilians in Afganistan.

California, Michigan, New York and now Ohio – What do they all have in common?

Does anyone notice a trend here? Michigan, California, New York, and now Ohio? As Hussein Obama “administration” rapidly apporaches, blue states are continuing to get in line for welfare, errr bailouts. As the economy sputters and tax revenue plummets, governors and mayors across the blue states of United States are lining up to ask President-elect Barack Obama and the new Congress for hundreds of billions of dollars to plug holes in their budgets, arguing that services will suffer and joblessness will rise if Washington does not come to the rescue. What do the four aforementioned states have in common? Thats right! Obama Hussein won those states! Maybe Helen Jones-Kelley can help.

Iranians don’t surf, but hangs ten on Christmas Eve – Bomb bomb bomb, bomb bomb Iran!

While its not bad enough the cowardly Brits allowed Mahmoud Ahmadinejad on UK television to pass along a propaganda message to the West on how to celebrate a holiday his nation abhors, the Iranians celebrated by playing Christmas Tree with ten prisoners:

Norway deplores the executions of 10 persons in Iran on Christmas Eve. Prior to the executions Foreign Minister Jonas Gahr Stoere appealed to Iran to stop in time and not go ahead with the executions. …

Last week Norway aligned itself with an EU declaration on the mass executions in Tehran’s Evin Prison on 26 November and other repeated violations of human rights that have taken place in Iran lately.

The Government is concerned about the human rights situation in Iran in general.  Two days ago the Iranian authorities closed the Center for Defence of Human Rights in Tehran, The centre was established and headed by the Iranian lawyer and human rights defender Shirin Ebadi, who was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 2003.
