Harry Reid a racist! Reid to Blago: You’d better not appoint Jesse Jackson Jr. or other blacks, but whites are ok!

reid-grim.jpgNow lets see how the former black panther Bobby Rush or “others” who constantly cry racism, treat one of most liberal senators in congress, Harry Reid. it seems old Harry Reid told Blago he’d better not appoint Jesse Jackson Jr, Rep. Danny Davis or  State Sen. Emil Jones but assured him that Tammy Duckworth and AG Lisa Madigan would be acceptable. Just for the record, Jackson, Davis and Jones are black, Duckworth and Madigan aren’t. Now that five total replacements. 3 of which are black, 2 of which are white. Harry Reid has problems with 3 of the replacements, all of them black, and is ok with the 2 white replacements?.

Sources say the Senate majority leader pushed against Jackson and Davis — both democratic congressmen from Illinois — and against Jones — the Illinois Senate president who is the political godfather of President-elect Barack Obama — because he did not believe the three men were electable. He feared losing the seat to a Republican in a future election…

Sources believe that at least portions of the phone conversations are on tape…

“Congressman Jackson was encouraged that two independent statewide polls confirmed that he was the most popular Democrat to succeed Barack,” Jackson spokesman Rick Bryant said. “The polls also showed he was in a strong position to win reelection in 2010, drawing strong support from virtually every demographic group.”

    I think it is being blow out of proportion. Didn’t he want Obama for president? So is he racist?? I think someone should ask senator Reid and see what he says first…. That is not nice to call someone racist. He really said you better not appoint any blacks but whites are ok??

    Sighs, it couldn’t be that he was looking at people, not color, could it? Duckworth and Madigan are both women, one of whom is Asian. Doesn’t sound like a bigot to me.

    Hillpuss: its called selective racism. When you have 3 black candidates, none of which are to even be considered, and Burris whom Reid is so opposed to who also happens to be black, yet Reid is ok with a white and asia woman, thats racial profiling and racist. Surely you whiny liberals know a thing or two about that, since all you do is cry racism.

    I am a Conservative, and I believe that we should give the Senator the benefit of the doubt. I agree with the previous comments.

    It is more likely that he is just using wisdom, and expertise to rule out those he believes not to be qualified for the position. The President Elect did just get promoted out of the position two months ago.(A very well respected Black Male, if I may add)

    It is these type of accusations that Obama has just squashed as the first Black president. No longer will the Americans in this country have the right to say that you can not attain white collar(Senator) status as a result of the color of your skin. Frankly, you sir are one of the very reasons that the thoughts of racism even still exists!

    The root of the leftist propaganda machine relies on the divisiveness of race/class/gender, it is classic Marxism. When all you promote is the division of society based on such principles the outcome is racism, classism, and sexism.

    Is Harry Reid racist? No Doubt. Is Bobby Rush racist? Most Definitely.

    It comes with the territory.
