Way to go Joe!!!! Joe didn't have to do much to steal the limelight from McCain toward the end of the campaign...McCain (aka the Maverick)never was "Mavericky". McCain sold the Republicans out.

Thanks Joe for being a Conservative Republican inspiration and motivator.

You go Joe!! Moral outrage in a reporter-what a novel idea!! Given that Isral is barely visible compared to all the Arab states but all of the UN and Arab nations want to wipe them off the map and see nothing wrong with their getting rocket fire every day for years--and the Press are gutless wonders--we need more moral outrage with reporters speaking truth for a change

In all fairness Joe should visit the gaza strip to see a real war zone. It doesn't seem fair to cover a war zone and only see half the story. It also strikes me as a bit bizarre that Joe condones banning of journalism in war zones when he is reporting on one. I doubt Joe knows much about how the Israeli state started or much of the complex history behind the conflict between palestinians and Israeli Jews. He is quick to point out that Israel has a right to defend itself but does he even realize that the creation of Israel is widely seen as an illegal act? Jews and Palestinian Arabs existed in peace for hundreds of years without the need of international monitors and/or conflict. The prevailing Jewish attitude towards the creation of a Jewish state was unpopular when the UN created Israel to begin with. My point in my response is that it takes two to tango. I am hesitant to side with Israel or Hamas. I side with innocent lives on both sides. I also do not condone Joe The Plumber as a voice of the American people. Joe represents blind ignorance when it comes to international affairs and historical events. There was no major conflict in the middle east over the gaza region until the UN and primarily Britain fabricated Israel from thin air. Israel was an ancient land that was conquered thousands of years ago. The Semitic people of the region predominatly changed into Arabs over time with evolution of the culture through their own historical events. Creating an Israel in the last 60 years in the middle east is like forcing the creation of one of any number of ancient civilizations to rise again from the ashes of time and history. Orthodox Jews protested the ctreation of Israel because they believed the Bible stated that God punished Israel to be destroyed and the people dispersed. Orthodox thinking teaches that men cannot bring about the new birth of Israel...only God can. The fact that strife and war exsist might demonstrate that creating Israel is the single factor as to why there is no peace in the middle east. I also find it interesting that the editors of this article and response column have no hesitation about posting their blatant bias towards liberal and moderate opinions since they preface their request for feedback by using a term like "liberal whiner". It is obvious that the editors support a very narrow scope and perspective when it comes to feedback.
