Why don’t we all just decide that in the next election we will vote for anyone not affilliated with either the democrat or republican party. They are too large and too powerful. I am sick of word like “Bi partisan” and “reach across the isle” all words and pharases indicating “two.” We are America….what about Libertarians, Conservatives, Green party etc. Lets really give something else a chance. That is how we will get real “change.”

and btw ..the recession has been going on a few years ..just because it’s not reported in the media ..does not mean that people haven’t be suffering…

I see the problem – Dems blame Republicans and vice versa – This is a crisis in America and we need to work TOGETHER to get things done. Providing handouts is not an options. Give a man a fish, he eats for a day, teach a man to fish, he eats for a lifetime. How about we apply this biblical lesson to our current economic crisis. The problem is, people blame the government for holding them back, and them beg them for help when they have a problem. We need to become the society we were 50 years ago. Hard work, ingenuity, neighbor helping neighbor. Enough of the ME, ME, ME mentality. I understand times are tough, but many of these people (Mrs Hughes and her son) were living off the system BEFORE the economic collapse. BTW, how do you propose we PAY for all of the freebies that some people are in favor of. We have already created several Trillion out of thin air….
