No Republicans vote for Porkulus in the House, Nancy Pelosi takes off in her private jet

Final roll call vote in the House: 246-183, with all 176 Republicans and 7 Democrats voting no. One Democrat voted “present.” (Is Hussein Obama still in congress?). Last house vote 11 democrats voted NAY on the porkulus, so nasty Nancy Pelosi worked her magic on at least 3 of them. Senate vote is expected at around 5:30pm Eastern or about 2:30pm my time. Looks like that “high speed train” from Los Angeles to Las Vegas is getting closer and closer! Since I’m (unfortunatley) in L.A., I can’t hardly wait! (NOT). BTW, Michelle Malkin is scheduled to be on the Neil Cavuto show at 4:20pm EST (or 1:20pm my time). I’m sure as hell not going to miss that. Also be sure to check out Malkin’s Friday the 13th open thread. Isn’t it ironic that the porkulus will pass the house (and most likely the senate) on a Friday the 13th? Anyway, its no wonder why the wicked witch of the hill Nancy Pelosi is in such a hurry to get the porkulus done. According to the ANSA Italian News Agency:

Rome, February 12 – The speaker of the United States House of Representatives, Nancy Pelosi, will be in Rome next week for talks with top Italian officials focusing in the global economic crisis and other leading issues. The first woman to hold the third-highest position in the American government, Pelosi has played a key role in pushing through the economic policies drawn up by the administration of President Barack Obama to combat the global recession.

Aside from economic questions, she is also expected to review bilateral relations between Rome and Washington and cooperation between the two countries in regard to the environment and leading international issues, including the situations in the Middle East, Iraq and Afghanistan.

Ample attention is expected to be paid to Italy`s agenda for its rotating presidency of the Group of Eight (G8) this year.

Details of Pelosi`s agenda have not been given in full but it is known that she will arrive Sunday night and on Monday morning she will pay a courtesy call at the Quirinale Palace to President Giorgio Napolitano, before going to the Chamber of Deputies for a meeting with her Italian counterpart, Gianfranco Fini, which will include a working luncheon.

In the afternoon Pelosi is slated to make an address in the lower house on future security challenges, after which she and Fini will hold a joint press conference.

The ways and means of combating climate change will be the focus of a conference she will address Tuesday morning at the American Studies Center, where she will be joined by
former premier Giuliano Amato.

The US House speaker will then be Premier Silvio Berlusconi`s guest for lunch.

Update 3pm PST: Senate vote underway. Spectre, Collins, Snowe vote yes

Update 3:04pm PST – Senate will wait for Ohio Sen. Sherrod Brown to return from his mother’s wake. White House supplied him plane to whisk him back for vote, our tax dollars pay for that too. Vote delayed for atleast an hour or two. The vote is delayed until 10:30pm EST, or 7:30PM my time.

Our lunch group at Shirley’s objects to porkulas to takers in our society. We have earned our own way and don’t want liberals to give us anything at someone else’s expense. We can manage for ourselves…Juan

Why does Obama not reel this woman in? She is trouble, uses her expenses for her own agenda, cares not that the taxpayers are footing the bill for her anger, and control to use the air force planes at her disposal, wow, how much power does this woman have over Obama, do you not notice that obama does not really even mention nancy. Wonder why? Is he afraid of her. Wonder if he has ever gotten one of her tongue lashings.
