The muslims worst nightmare: Geert Wilders coming to D.C. on Friday

Washington is going to be THE place to be on Friday. First, the Tea Party.

Then, this:

On Friday, February 27, 2009, Dutch Member of Parliament Geert Wilders, founder and floor leader of the Freedom Party (PVV), and the International Free Press Society (IFPS), in conjunction with the Center for Security Policy, will discuss recent attacks on free speech worldwide, especially the recent legal actions against Wilders and other political leaders and journalists.

The International Free Press Society will announce a global initiative to protect free speech from laws that criminalize any criticisms of Islam or the doctrines of Shariah.

The event will include a screening of Fitna, the controversial film which includes quotations from the Koran, documentary footage of Islamic leaders inciting violence (jihad) based on those quotations, and documentary footage of jihadist violence. The film can be viewed on the Internet here.

Mr. Wilders will discuss his efforts to show Fitna and to rally support for free speech and the right to criticize Islam.

Frank Gaffney, President of the Center for Security Policy, will discuss the dangers to America’s national security and civil liberties imposed by global oppression of free speech.

Theres also a rumor that Geert Wilders will be on the Glenn Beck show today at 5pm EST. You may want to watch.

(Hat tip: Diana West)

Sen. Jon Kyl has also invited Wilders to show Fitna in the Senate.

Preparing for CAIR protests in 3, 2, 1…

Or will it be a wife beheading protest?

The New American Tea Party – a coalition of citizens and organizations concerned about the recent trend of fiscal recklessness in government…dedicated to the Washington, D.C. effort specifically sponsored by the American Spectator, the Heartland Institute, Americans for Tax Reform, the National Taxpayers Union, Americans for Prosperity, and the Young Conservatives Coalition

Tons of groups and individuals are stepping up to the plate in the wake of last week’s anti-stimulus/anti-entitlement protests and the call for a nationwide Tea Party.

PJTV’s clearinghouse for protests is here.

The New American Tea Party page from “a coalition of citizens and organizations concerned about the recent trend of fiscal recklessness in government…dedicated to the Washington, D.C. effort specifically sponsored by the American Spectator, the Heartland Institute, Americans for Tax Reform, the National Taxpayers Union, Americans for Prosperity, and the Young Conservatives Coalition” is here.

The #TCOT folks have a site here and #dontgo has a list of links to official Facebook Event (and some non-Facebook) pages for each confirmed Chicago Tea Party.

Glenn Reynolds has good round-ups of the Overland Park, KS protest over the weekend organized by mm.com commenter Huskergirl Amanda Grosserode (congrats on a fabulous turnout!) and here’s some advice from a media producer. Yes, it’s good to be prepared — but I would caution against taking too much advice from the “professionals.” It’s the grass-roots nature of these events that make them so compelling. Too much “professional” advice will turn them into…mealy-mouthed GOP Beltway press conferences.

From reader George S., this is my favorite Overland Park KS protest pic:

The man who called us a nation of cowards is visting Gitmo

Attorney General Eric Holder and top aides are touring the U.S. military prison facilities at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba to help advance the administration’s plans to empty the facility of detainees within one year.

Holder and a team of five others involved in the process of deciding what to do with the detainees arrived mid-morning and were immediately briefed by military officials, according to Holder’s chief spokesman Matt Miller.

“He’s being briefed on case histories and discussing the charges that were pending for detainees before the suspensions,” Miller said. “He’s touring all the buildings and the expeditionary legal complex which houses the military courtrooms,” Miller said.

Holder is accompanied by Matthew Olsen, who is acting assistant attorney general for the National Security Division. Holder named Olsen Friday as the executive director of the Guantanamo Review Task Force which will recommend whether the 245 remaining detainees should be removed to other countries, be released, be tried on criminal charges in civilian courts in the United States or should be tried in before military courts.

Obama trashes GOP govs not interested in “stimulus” money

President Obama had harsh words Monday for conservative critics of the $787 billion stimulus plan who have argued that the it contains needless pork barrel spending.

“When I hear people who say, well, there’s a lot of waste in this program, from my perspective at least, keeping teachers in the classroom is not wasteful,” he argued.

“From my perspective, tax cuts to 95 percent of working families is not wasteful. From my perspective, providing all of you additional resources to rebuild roads and bridges and levees and dams … that will enhance the quality of life of your state, but also make it more economically competitive. That’s not wasteful.”

President Obama made the comments during a meeting at the White House Monday morning the with the nation’s governors, who are in the nation’s capitol for an annual conference.

Some Republican governors, however, did not back off their criticism of the stimulus package.

Gov. Bobby Jindal, R-Louisiana, highlighted items such as $1 billion in added spending for the national census and $50 million in federal spending for the arts while speaking to reporters after the meeting.

It’s “not apparent to me why they had to be in the stimulus package,” said Jindal, who has been tapped to give the official Republican response to Obama’s Tuesday night address to a joint session of Congress.

Jindal, seen as a possible contender for the 2012 GOP presidential nomination, said his fellow Republican governors nevertheless wanted to give Obama “every opportunity” to succeed in sparking an economic recovery.

Just what the country needs, the new stimulus “czar” is gaffe man, dumb Joe Biden!

Skip ahead to 4:05. Just what a jittery America needs to restore confidence in the feds’ bailout management. Worried that Greasy Joe suddenly has an $800 billion line of credit and zero executive experience? Don’t be. The Obama business brain trust is right there behind him, willing and able to lend a hand.

If you want to congratulate The One on his master stroke, the Recovery.gov website is now accepting reader feedback. Exit question: Which is most reassuring — Biden heading up the stimulus, Panetta learning intel on the fly as head of the CIA, or our new energy secretary needing to be told that he’s responsible for, um, energy?

Hey Hussein Obama! Pay your damn bills first before talking about fiscal responsibility!

President Obama just finished up his opening remarks at a “fiscal responsibility” summit to address skyrocketing budget deficits.

How about paying your own damn bills first, Mr. President?

There’s yet another new report of Obama campaign/DNC unpaid bills — this one from Springfield, Illinois. Obama owes the city at least $65,000 for overtime and other costs.

That’s in addition to the nearly $2 million Obama still owes the city of Chicago.

And the $24,000 Obama owes the city of Philadelphia.

Deadbeatonomics for He, but not for thee.

ObamAcorn home breakins update – what the liberal biased MSM wouldn’t tell you

ACORN garnered nationwide media attention for breaking and entering into a foreclosed home in Baltimore at 315 South Ellwood Ave. ACORN vows to use “any means necessary” to stop foreclosures. Baltimore police have taken fingerprints at the break-in site and the current owner, William Lane, says he will sue ACORN. The home was sold in June 2008 for $192,000. This morning, ACORN official Louis Beverly will face a burglary charge. Look for the Left to turn him into a martyr.

It is not your home, ACORN.

Here is what the MSM won’t be telling you about the so-called “victim” in that case, ACORN worker Donna Hanks — all based on public records and court documents.

According to real property data search information, Hanks bought the two-story home in the summer of 2001 for $87,000. At some point in the next five years, she re-financed the original home loan for $270,000.

Question: Where did all that money go?

The house initially went into foreclosure proceedings in the spring of 2006. In July 2006, Hanks filed for bankruptcy and agreed to a Chapter 13 plan which was served to the following creditors: Americas Servicing Co, Bank Of America, Chase, Covahey, Boozer, Devan & Dore, and Discover. She agreed to repay $10,500 in arrears, which resulted in a halt to the 2006 foreclosure.

In September 2006, the bankruptcy court ordered Hanks’ employer to deduct $340/month from her salary as a bartender to pay down the debt (total net monthly take home pay of $1,228):

Hanks’ Schedule I showed additional monthly income of $1,625 for a second and third claimed jobs, plus pro-rated tax refund income.

Hanks did not comply with the plan. In December 2007, the servicer issued a notice of default on nearly $7,000 past due.

Minta Garcia demands Hussein Obama halt all foreclosures. She’s underwater on an $800,000 home.

Craig Meister at the Examiner.com points me to this typical CNN sob story clip of a bus driver named Minta Garcia who is demanding that President Obama halt all foreclosures. She’s underwater on an $800,000 home.

Repeat after me: Property value-preservation is not a civil right. Or is it now under Hussein Obama if you were just irresponsible, or simply a minority?

From the transcript:

ACOSTA: Like countless other Americans, Garcia admits she and her husband bought more house than they could afford, but she says the lender made the purchase all too easy. Now her mortgage is worth more than her house.

(on camera): How much was the house when you bought it?

GARCIA: Eight hundred.

ACOSTA: Eight hundred thousand dollars?. And how much is the house worth?

GARCIA: Right now, it’s like $675,000 on the market.

Tell you what, Mrs. Garcia. We’ll help you out with your bad financial investment when you agree to help the rest of us make up for our stock portfolio losses.

Cry me a river.

Al Sharpton’s cartoon Jihad. Still going bananas over the NY Post cartoon (uh oh, was saying going bananas racist too?)

You cannot appease racial grievance-mongers. This man’s appetite for destruction is insatiable.

You can take them to dinner, put them on TV, give them awards, welcome them to the White House (!), bow and scrape, and kiss their rings.

But it will never, never be enough.

Al Sharpton and the rest of the demagogues are still going ape over the New York Post cartoon by Sean Delonas (who mocked the stimulus legislation frenzy using the image of a crazy chimp). They won’t let it rest:

Outrage and protests continue to mount over The NY Post’s controversial cartoon interpreted by many as comparing President Obama to a chimpanzee that was shot and killed by police in Stamford, Connecticut last week.

Reverend Al Sharpton on Sunday called for a special City Council hearing, urging the city to refrain from advertising in The Post.

The civil rights leader, along with other local lawmakers, is also asking for the FCC to review the waiver extended to News Corp and Rupert Murdoch, which allows them to own more than one television station and newspaper in the same city.

“I think that they have sadly tried to reduce this to some personal fight than to really understand the level of offense,” Sharpton at a press conference on Sunday. “It seems that we cannot have a true level of democracy in terms of how the newspapers and airwaves are used in this city.”

The New York Post issued an editorial on its website last Thursday saying the cartoon was meant to mock the federal economic stimulus bill, and apologized to those who were offended by it.

The chairman of the NAACP, Julian Bond, spoke out about the cartoon on Saturday, and called for the firing of both the cartoonist and the editor-in-chief of the New York Post.

“This is tastelessness taken to the extreme and its something you expect from this publication,” Bond said. “But for the publication to suggest that the only people who object to it are constant critics of the New York Post is beyond ridiculous.”

Support the Post. Let them know.

Silence is submission. If we don’t stand up to the race hustlers, who will?

While Al Sharpton’s cartoon jihad against the New York Post has other newsrooms trembling.

Check out this preemptive apology from the Washington Post printed in yesterday’s paper:

“The headline, illustration and text of “Below the Beltway,” a column in The Washington Post Magazine today, may cause offense to readers. The magazine was printed before a widely publicized incident last week in which a chimpanzee attacked and badly mauled a woman in Stamford, Conn. In addition, the image and text inadvertently may conjure racial stereotypes that The Post does not countenance. We regret the lapse.”

Do you want to see the “lapse?” It’s an illustration accompanying a humor column by Gene Weingarten titled “Monkey Business” about a study that reported on how women were aroused at the sight of bonobo apes mating.

Here
is the “offensive” cartoon:

ShamObamaWOW – not quite $19.95…. More like your entire wealth.

Those who do not read history are doomed to repeat itAnd those who repeat failed policies of the past are doomed to failure themselves, and the definition of insanity is trying the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result.  We can apply all of these proverbs to what the Washington Post reports as the next phase of Deadbeatonomics, in which Obama will try the old populist “soak the rich” policies in order to close a deficit that he himself exploded in the past two weeks:

President Obama is putting the finishing touches on an ambitious first budget that seeks to cut the federal deficit in half over the next four years, primarily by raising taxes on businesses and the wealthy and by slashing spending on the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, administration officials said.

In addition to tackling a deficit swollen by the $787 billion stimulus package and other efforts to ease the nation’s economic crisis, the budget blueprint will press aggressively for progress on the domestic agenda Obama outlined during the presidential campaign. This would include key changes to environmental policies and a major expansion of health coverage that he hopes to enact later this year.

http://img385.imageshack.us/img385/1882/obamashamwowwf5.png

A summary of Obama’s budget request for the fiscal year that begins in October will be delivered to Congress on Thursday, with the complete, multi-hundred-page document to follow in April. But Obama plans to unveil his goals for scaling back record deficits and rebuilding the nation’s costly and inefficient health care system tomorrow, when he addresses lawmakers and budget experts at a White House summit on restoring “fiscal responsibility” to Washington.

Yesterday in his weekly radio and Internet address, Obama said he is determined to “get exploding deficits under control” and said his budget request is “sober in its assessments, honest in its accounting, and lays out in detail my strategy for investing in what we need, cutting what we don’t, and restoring fiscal discipline.”

Remember the Chandra Levy case back in 2001? Its back! And guess what is being investigated?

Yep Hussein Obama! Lets make all those (at least) 12 million illegals in this country American citizens! Sounds like a plan!

News broke over the weekend that an arrest may be imminent in the Chandra Levy murder case. There is reportedly DNA evidence linking Levy to illegal alien sex offender Ingmar Guandique. His name should be familiar to those of you who have followed the story over the years. Michelle Malkin first wrote about Guandique nearly seven years ago — and I’m seeing history repeat itself again with the MSM’s whitewashing of Guandique’s immigration status (just look at these search results and spot the missing word.)

Here’s the column she wrote in June 2002, still relevant today:

The media’s immigration blinders
by Michelle Malkin

“ILLEGAL ALIEN QUESTIONED IN CHANDRA LEVY CASE.”

Did you miss that headline in the news last week? Well, that’s because no one ran it.

Ingmar Guandique, a violent Salvadoran national who is serving a 10-year sentence for assaulting two female joggers in Washington’s Rock Creek Park last year, was interrogated recently as part of the investigation into the intern murder mystery. But in my review of all 115 news items archived in the Lexis-Nexis database that mention Guandique in connection with the Levy case, not a single story referred to his status as a criminal illegal alien.

The Associated Press described Guandique merely as an “immigrant;” the New York Times called him a “Washington man.” On the basic questions of where Guandique came from, how he got here, and how he managed to stay, the Washington Post-the mainstream media giant closest to the scene of Guandique’s crimes- has printed nothing at all.

Though Guandique reportedly passed lie detector tests, he remains an unofficial person of interest in the Levy case. D.C. police chief Charles Ramsey says the media is making too big a deal of Guandique. Quite the contrary. The glaring omission of Guandique’s immigration status from the mainstream media’s no-stone-unturned Levy coverage is a newsworthy act of negligence as the nation grapples with lax borders and national (in)security.

Only one media outlet, the invaluable Washington, D.C.-based newsweekly Human Events, has published the pertinent facts. Editor Terry Jeffrey reported this week that not only is Guandique an illegal alien, but also that the INS had given him a green light to work in the country legally while his application for “Temporary Protected Status (TPS)” was pending. Guandique’s TPS application was eventually denied, but not before he committed two brutal attacks in the same park where Chandra Levy’s body was found.

TPS is basically a bad-weather pass into the U.S. Whenever a natural disaster strikes, we allow thousands of foreigners to stay here-mostly from Latin America-while their homelands supposedly recover. But the INS doesn’t track down TPS beneficiaries once their status expires. Worse, INS chief James Ziglar recently remarked during a trip to the Mexican border that it would be neither “reasonable” nor “practical” to deport millions of illegal aliens who have snuck across the borders, violated their visas, or overstayed on TPS. How many future Guandiques (or Attas or Almihdhars) are among them? Ziglar doesn’t seem to care. He’s too busy nullifying the immigration laws he’s supposed to enforce.

The public deserves informed analysis of whether fraud-ridden immigration programs such as Temporary Protected Status and other various forms of amnesty have come at the expense of our public safety and the national interest. But how can the question be answered if the press never asks?

Instead of hard-nosed analysis, observed author William McGowan at a forum on immigration and media coverage hosted by the Center for Immigration Studies in Washington, D.C., last week, journalists maintain an “overly romantic” view of the issue. McGowan’s penetrating new book, “Coloring The News,” documents how political correctness has corrupted coverage of myriad policy issues, including immigration. He noted superficial reporting of airport security and visa screening issues in the pro-illegal alien New York Times before September 11, sympathetic stories on providing driver’s licenses to illegal aliens, and the flippant title of a bleeding-heart Times magazine cover piece a few years back: “What Immigration Crisis?”

Another panel member and veteran immigration analyst, Lodi (Calif.) News-Sentinel columnist Joe Guzzardi, reported on the results of a 1,500-article review he conducted for NumbersUSA.com, a grass-roots reform group, to gauge fairness and balance of immigration coverage. “Very few stories met the reporters’ definition of fair and balanced,” he said. Most news stories are frontloaded with quotes from illegal immigration and open borders advocates, while opposing views are buried and marginalized.

Indeed, most editors still can’t even bring themselves to use the term “illegal,” preferring the flagrantly biased euphemism, “undocumented.”

Questions about the adequacy of immigration news coverage, as the Center for Immigration Studies noted, are longer academic. It’s “a matter of life and death.” When will the media take off the rose-colored blinders and start reporting the true costs of our continuing, criminal-friendly immigration policies?

The Ed Morrissey Show: Kevin McCullough

Today, on the Ed Morrissey Show (3 pm ET), Today, on the Ed Morrissey Show (3 pm ET), Kevin McCullough joins us again to discuss the intersection of faith and politics. Kevin and I will discuss last night’s Oscar wins for Slumdog Millionaire and look at the messages from the ceremony itself.

Que? Obama ‘Very Committed’ to Legalizing Aliens

Despite the fact that federal, state and local governments are reeling from a fiscal crisis, President Barack Obama is sticking to plans to help an estimated 12 million illegal aliens gain citizenship.

Last week, Obama called into Univision Radio’s Eddie “Piolin” Sotelo show, fulfilling a promise to be a guest if elected.

“I promised you that I would be on the show when I was president, and here I am on the show,” Obama told Sotelo.

Asked by Sotelo about the issue of immigration, Obama promised action soon.

Obama said: “Well, as I’ve said every time I’ve been on the show, Piolín, we’re going to make sure that we begin the process of dealing with the immigration system that’s broken. We’re going to start by really trying to work on how to improve the current system so that people who want to be naturalized, who want to become citizens, like you did, that they are able to do it; that it’s cheaper, that it’s faster, that they have an easier time in terms of sponsoring family members. And then we’ve got to have comprehensive immigration reform.”

Alan Keyes: Stop Obama or the US will cease to exist

Alan Keyes made serious new charges against Hussein Obama.

The controversy over the validity of Barack Obama’s birth certificate is back on a burner withAlan Keyes making serious new charges.

In a video (see below) released Friday, Keyes, who lost to Obama in the 2004 U.S. Senate race in Illinois that launched the new president’s national political career, calls Obama a communist and usurper and says he refuses to acknowledge the validity of Obama’s inauguration over lingering questions in the minds of many conspiracists about the 44th president’s birthplace.

The U.S. Constitution requires any president be born an American citizen.

I guess the race card can’t be played on Keyes.

As we prepare for what could be a disastrous week on Wall Street – Rick Santelli tears up Obama’s mortgage plan and Robert Gibbs video

Rick Santelli is know for his rants, but probably none of them have garnered this much attention. It has obviously struck a cord with most Americans, including many who voted for the fraud Hussein Obama. I think that each bailout has passed, it not getting any better. Stock market goes down and does not inspire confidence into the markets. The more the government tries to fix the problem the more it makes it worst. People are waking up to the fact that we are getting the shaft and the national debt burden on us, our children, grandchildren and their grandchildren have no way of paying tens of trillions of debt the our government has created. Watch Santelli destroy that moron Robert Gibbs. I still wonder how much longer Santelli will last at CNBC.

Schwarzenegger shows that Shriver is the real boss, tells the real conservative governors: I vill take de stimulus money if you don’t want it

Of course, Schwarzenegger could use more of the porkulus money for all the illegals getting welfare, cleaning up after all the gangbangers, and 187,000 “students” free breakfasts daily in L.A. Schools. Two videos, one from this morning and the other from 1990, tracking the evolution of a Republican icon. I’m no expert on Milton Friedman, but I imagine he’d find the “emergency” rationale for higher taxes rather highly nuanced indeed.

Exit question: When Schwarzenegger calls on the GOP to be “team players” by acquiescing in The One’s agenda, how long does he intend for “the game” to last? Until the emergency passes, whenever that is, or for Obama’s entire term?

SHOCKER! well not really. MSNBC show to air from White House on Tuesday

What do you make of this access? “Morning Joe” will broadcast live for three hours from the White House on Tuesday morning.

MSNBC said White House press secretary Robert Gibbs and senior Obama adviser David Axelrod will preview President Barack Obama’s speech to Congress that evening.

Who else might drop by? That should be something see, and the setup will be a challenge for anchors Joe Scarborough, Mika Brzezinski and Willie Geist.

“Morning Joe” airs from 6 to 9 a.m. EST (which is 3am to 6am local time for me) on MSNBC. Needless to say I wouldnt be watching.

More bad legislation on the way

Socialist ‘Hag’ Carol Browner is Obama’s special advisor on climate change and energy. Browner say that Obama wants Congress to draft legislation regulating CO2……… a cap- and-trade system. Doing so is:

1) Unnecessary.

2) Economically dangerous.

Of course the reason is the bogus AGW issue and a small elite clique of scientists (funding whores) empowered by politicians.

Dwight Eisenhower
1961
Farewell Address to the Nation

“that public policy could itself become the captive of a scientific-technological elite. Partly because of the huge costs involved, a government contract becomes virtually a substitute for intellectual curiosity. The prospect of domination of the nation’s scholars by Federal employment, project allocations, and the power of money is ever present – and is gravely to be regarded.”

I will also reiterate…..

Then you have Hansen (NASA) assisting Obama in ways of using the bogus global warming / climate change / CO2 issue to help facilitate redistribution of wealth (the actual goal of AGW and Obama anyway).
Some excepts of a letter he sent to Obama.

The most effective way to achieve this is a carbon tax (on oil, gas, and coal) at the well-head or port of entry. The tax will then appropriately affect all products and activities that use fossil fuels.

The public will support the tax if it is returned to them, equal shares on a per capita basis (half shares for children up to a maximum of two child-shares per family), deposited monthly in bank accounts.

LINK
The middle class and above will have larger cars, homes, and buy more products. Thus via the tax their money will be taken from them and given to the lower income brackets. That would be in addition to the higher taxes that Obama proposes to dump on the middle and upper income brackets.

Democrat Mort Kondracke actually thinks Rush Limbaugh is right about the porkulus

Well lookie what we have here! Heres a sample:

I can’t believe I’m writing this, but Rush Limbaugh actually has (or had) a good idea on the stimulus. Or, at least the germ of one.

On his radio show Jan. 26 and in the Wall Street Journal Jan. 29, America’s arch-polarizer — amazingly enough — proposed the outlines of a reasonable bipartisan stimulus package of both spending and tax cuts.

The proposal was couched, of course, in Limbaugh’s customary disdain for government spending (”porkulus”) and disparagement of Democratic Party motives, but it contained a genuinely bipartisan idea.

Which was: President Barack Obama won 53 percent of the two-party vote last year and Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) won 46 percent, so Obama would dictate the contents of 53 percent of the stimulus and Republicans — Limbaugh said, “me” — would dictate 46 percent.

Well, it was never going to happen exactly that way, since the election handed control of both political branches of government to the Democrats.

But, if Obama truly wanted to establish a post-partisan atmosphere in Washington, he would have not only met and had cocktails with Republicans, but would have given them a real say in drafting the stimulus.

Al-Qaeda’s founder blames Bin Laden for blood shed in Iraq & Afghanistan. What? Isn’t it Bush’s fault? Or the ‘evil’ Americans?

For a change, its not the evil Americans, or even Booooooooosh’s fault this time! At least according to one of al-Qaeda’s founding leaders, Dr Fadl. I wonder if ABC, CBS, NBC, or CNN will even mention this?

One of al-Qaeda’s founding leaders, Dr Fadl, has begun an ideological revolt against Osama bin Laden, blaming him for “every drop” of blood spilt in Afghanistan and Iraq

Sayyid Imam al-Sharif, who goes by the nom de guerre Dr Fadl, helped bin Laden create al-Qaeda and then led an Islamist insurgency in Egypt in the 1990s.

But in a book written from inside an Egyptian prison, he has launched a frontal attack on al-Qaeda’s ideology and the personal failings of bin Laden and particularly his Egyptian deputy, Ayman al-Zawahiri.

Twenty years ago, Dr Fadl became al-Qaeda’s intellectual figurehead with a crucial book setting out the rationale for global jihad against the West.

Today, however, he believes the murder of innocent people is both contrary to Islam and a strategic error. “Every drop of blood that was shed or is being shed in Afghanistan and Iraq is the responsibility of bin Laden and Zawahiri and their followers,” writes Dr Fadl.
