The Obama Cult – Dorothy Tisdale
Recently I added a section to this site called the “Obama Cult” with videos of losers that are about as inlove with B. Hussein Obama as Chris Matthews, or that New York Times writer that wants to have sex with him. You can check out Julio Osequedo and Peggy Joseph and see some patheric or scary examples (with obviously more to come). Today, Michelle Malkin has a new one. Dorothy Tisdale:
“I see him like he’s my own son, and not in a funny way, either,” Dorothy Tisdale, a 73-year-old Peorian, said in reference to President Obama. She was the same woman who, after Obama’s motorcade passed her, said the experience was “better than having sex.”

Maybe she buys her books in the recently changed Borders Religious Books section.

Mark Udall’s pathetic e-mail auto reply
One of Michelle Malkin’s readers, Tom M. of Grand Junction, Colorado e-mails:
I am absolutely OUTRAGED by a response I received from one of my senators, Mark Udall (D-CO). After multiple e-mails from me stating my opposition against the “Porkulus” Bill, Senator uDULL had the nerve to reply about a totally different subject (which I have added below, unedited, in its entirety). The bill he wrote about is another OUTRAGEOUS Democratic plan! How can we STOP this destruction of our nation and way of life?
This was my last and briefest e-mail to Senator uDULL:
Subject: Vote NO on the Economic Stimulus Bill
Senator Udall:
Vote NO on the final version of the Economic Stimulus Bill! Enough said.
Sincerely,
Thomas M.

This was his TOTALLY unrelated response:
Subject: Housing Crisis
Monday, February 16, 2009Thank you for contacting me with your views over the current housing crisis. I appreciate your taking the time to express your specific concerns.
We find ourselves in the worst economic crisis in decades and as a result, we have seen the national home foreclosure rate rise steadily since 2006. This housing crisis has emerged in large part due to unregulated lending markets. This has caused serious economic damage to families and communities in Colorado and the nation. I believe that Congress needs to act swiftly to enact responsible policies to help homeowners.
Over the last several years, there have been a number of steps taken by Congress to help alleviate families struggling with foreclosure. Recently, Senator Dick Durbin introduced the Helping Families Save Their Homes in Bankruptcy Act of 2009 (S. 61), which is designed to help protect those families trying to avoid foreclosure. This bill would amend the current bankruptcy law to allow judges to modify the terms of mortgages on primary residences as well as prohibit, reduce, or delay changes in variable interest rates which would help homeowners with an adjustable rate mortgage in the future. This bill has been referred to the Senate Committee on the Judiciary for debate. Also, I agree with my colleagues in the Senate that we should use the additional funds set aside by the Troubled Asset Relief Program (TARP) to directly fund foreclosure prevention programs to help Coloradans remain in their homes. You can be sure that I will keep your concerns in mind as these proposals are being discussed in the Senate.
Thanks again for contacting me. My job is not about merely supporting or opposing legislation; it is also about bridging the divide that has paralyzed our nation’s politics. I welcome your letters and e-mails and always listen closely to what you and other Coloradans have to say about matters before Congress, the concerns of our communities, and the issues facing our state and nation. For more information about my positions, please visit my website at www.markudall.senate.gov.
Warm Regards,

1,500 bags of pork rinds off to Chuck Schumer Schmuck – courtsey of Leland Conway!
Last week, Michelle Malkin noted Kentucky radio talk show host Leland Conway’s campaign to send Democrat Sen. Chuck Schumer bags of pork rinds in response to his arrogant claim that Americans don’t care about the pork in the trillion-dollar-porkulus.
Guess what? Conway’s call produced a mountain — an estimated 1,500 pork rind bags that will be packed up and delivered to the Schmuckster’s office. Yes, they care:

Guess he’ll just dismiss Central Kentucky taxpayers as more of the “chattering classes”…
Heres why liberal media bias pays off – Jill Zuckman becomes assistant to the secretary and director of public affairs for Transportation Secretary nominee Ray LaHood
The Chicago Tribune’s reporter Jill Zuckman takes a new job as assistant to the secretary and director of public affairs for Transportation Secretary nominee Ray LaHood.
Another Tribune Co. writer and former LA Times reporter Peter Gosselin grabbed a job as chief speech writer for Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner.
That’s in addition to former Time reporter Jay Carney, now VP Joe Biden’s communications director and former ABC correspondent Linda Douglass
, who worked on the Obama campaign and will be HHS assistant secretary for public affairs. Yes, this is the same Linda Douglas for those here in L.A. who used to appear on KNBC channel 4 and spew her liberal bias in commentaries during the late 80s and 90s.
It’s Obama’s own little MSM Bailout Program.
Stimulating…
Good news! Goodnight now “Car czar” – bad news – Tax Cheat Geithner in!
Tim Geithner, the man who cheats on his taxes. The man who was basically the laughing stock of the day when he couldn’t announce his “plan” to help recover the economy, the man in charge of YOUR taxes, will now be in charge of the auto industry’s restructuring!
We are truly living an Ayn Rand novel-come-to-life nightmare:
President Obama has given up on landing a “car czar” to oversee the auto industry’s restructuring. Instead, Treasury Secretary Tim Geithner will be in charge, administration officials said Sunday night.
The czar was to have evaluated turnaround reports that are due Tuesday from GM and Chrysler as part of the agreement giving them bailout funds at the end of the Bush administration.
Administration officials said restructuring expert Ron Bloom, a former investment banker who been advising the United Steelworkers, will become a senior adviser at the Treasury Department, in charge of helping a Presidential Task Force on Autos drawn that will be from across the executive branch.
The “Presidential Task Force makes clear that this is a top priority of the President and the administration, and this is the team that will be evaluating the auto viability plans that are submitted on Tuesday,” a senior administration official said.
The official said: ‘We had never said we were going to do a czar, so it’s incorrect to say as some people are that we changed plans. The president felt this was best approach.”
Industry officials said the leading candidate for car czar was celebrity financier Steven Rattner, the private-equity executive and former New York Times reporter.
Tresuary Secretary tax cheat and bailout failout architect Tim Geithner will fork over more money:
Members of the task force will be drawn from relevant cabinet agencies and offices, including the Departments of Treasury, Labor, Transportation, Commerce, and Energy, the National Economic Council, the White House Office of Energy and Environment, the Council of Economic Advisers and the EPA.
–The president has designated the Treasury Secretary to be the president’s designee for official purposes to oversee the loan agreements with the auto companies.

There is such a thing as a free lunch – Free pulled pork for the anti porkulus protestors in Seattle!
Michelle Malkin made good on my promise to deliver pulled pork to the Seattle anti-porkulus rally in Westlake Park today organized by Liberty Belle. Ordered two huge pans from Longhorn BBQ in Pioneer Square that should be delivered around 12:15pm Pacific. There is such thing as a free lunch today. Express your dissent and fill your tummy!
Hugo Chavez wins vote to scrap term limits in Venezuela
I guess people really are stupid. And I guess its not only in America with all the braindead Obamabots all over the place. President Hugo Chavez won a referendum to eliminate Sunday, enabling him to run again in 2012 and beyond in what critics fear is an attempt to become president-for-life. Fireworks exploded in the sky and caravans of supporters celebrated in the streets, waving red flags and honking horns. Thousands of people gathered outside Miraflores Palace, where the former paratroop commander appeared on a balcony to sing the national anthem and address the crowd. “Today we opened wide the gates of the future,” proclaimed Chavez, who has governed for a decade and vowed to rule for at least a decade more. “In 2012 there will be presidential elections, and unless God decides otherwise, unless the people decide otherwise, this soldier is already a candidate.” Chavez called the victory — which allows all public officials to run for re-election as many times as they want — a mandate to speed his transformation of Venezuela into a socialist state.
“Those who voted ‘yes’ today voted for socialism, for revolution,” he said.
Sounds a lot like America in 2009.
B. Hussein Obama now pisses off the British! Sends bust of Winston Churchill on its way back to Britain
A bust of the former prime minister once voted the greatest Briton in history, which was loaned to George W Bush from the Government’s art collection after the September 11 attacks, has now been formally handed back.
The bronze by Sir Jacob Epstein, worth hundreds of thousands of pounds if it were ever sold on the open market, enjoyed pride of place in the Oval Office during President Bush’s tenure.
But when British officials offered to let Mr Obama to hang onto the bust for a further four years, the White House said: “Thanks, but no thanks.”
Diplomats were at first reluctant to discuss the whereabouts of the Churchill bronze, after its ejection from the seat of American power. But the British Embassy in Washington has now confirmed that it sits in the palatial residence of ambassador Sir Nigel Sheinwald, just down the road from Vice President Joe Biden’s official residence. It is not clear whether the ambassador plans to keep it in Washington or send it back to London.
Churchill has less happy connotations for Mr Obama than those American politicians who celebrate his wartime leadership. It was during Churchill’s second premiership that Britain suppressed Kenya’s Mau Mau rebellion. Among Kenyans allegedly tortured by the colonial regime included one Hussein Onyango Obama, the President’s grandfather.
Those Kenyan roots run deeper than we thought.
Chicago politics at its finest. More problems for Roland Burris – GOP demands resignation, perjury probe, Burris naturally blames someone else
Time asks: Liar or fool? You decide:
Burris gets appointed to the Senate by Rod Blagojevich, a self-made cartoon of political ineptness and alleged corruption. The U.S. Senate won’t seat Burris until he testifies under oath that he is unblemished by the Blagojevich stain. Burris does this–under oath–knowing that any disclosure of contacts with the Blagojovich camp could jeopardize the Senate acceptance of his nomination. He submits a sworn affidavit saying “there was not any contact between myself or any of my representatives with Governor Blagojevich or any of his representatives” about the Senate seat before he was offered the job. A few days later, he testifies under oath that he did, after all, talk about the job previously with “some friends about his desire to be appointed.” He is asked specifically about conversations with Blagojevich aides and associates Doug Scofield, Bob Greenleaf, Lon Monk, John Wyma and John Harris. He says he spoke with Lon Monk, a state lobbyist with ties to Blagojevich. Based on this information, he is accepted into the U.S. Senate.
Last Friday, the Burris story changes again–big time. (To see the new affidavit, click here.) His new story, includes these salient details: As far back as June, at a fundraiser Burris attended for Blagojevich, Burris told two of the governor’s aides, Wyma and Scofield, that he was “interested” in the Senate job. He also talked to Blagojevich’s brother about the post, not once but three times in October and November, and Burris, as part of the same conversations, discussed raising money for Blagojevich with the brother. (Burris claims he declined, saying it would look bad.) In October he called Blagojevich’s chief of staff, John Harris, in an attempt to get his own nephew a state job, and then asked about the Senate appointment. He also called Ed Smith, a “friend and supporter” of Blagojevich’s, to ask if he had a chance of getting the Senate job.
Burris, still under oath in a sworn affidavit, now says that he did not bring these facts up during the January testimony because he was “asked another question,” and did not have a chance to more fully explain himself. At best, this makes Burris a political fool, because he knowingly allowed his new Senate colleagues to be played for fools by denying them all the information they sought. Uncovering these facts, after all, was the entire purpose of his testimony, and he knew that. Did he think he could get by without bringing them up? Did he not feel the responsibility to clear the air, if not at the hearing, then immediately following the hearing? Did he think no one would notice, or that the information would not eventually come out?
Full transcript of original testimony here.

5:00pm Eastern update. The press just laughed at Burris for trying to defend his incomplete answer in his original affidavit.
REPRESENTATIVE DURKIN: Did you talk to any members of the Governor’s staff or anyone closely related to the Governor, including family members or any lobbyists connected with him, including let me throw out some names, John Harris, Rob Blagojevich, Doug Scofield, Bob Greenleaf, Lon Monk, John Wyma, did you talk to anybody who was associated with the Governor about your desire to seek the appointment prior to the Governor’s arrest?
MR. WRIGHT: Give us a moment.
MR. BURRIS: I talked to some friends about my desire to be appointed, yes.
REPRESENTATIVE DURKIN: I guess the point is I was trying to ask, did you speak to anybody who was
on the Governor’s staff prior to the Governor’s arrest or anybody, any of those individuals or anybody who is closely related to the Governor?MR. BURRIS: I recall having a meeting with Lon Monk about my partner and I trying to get continued business, and I did bring it up, it must have been in September or maybe it was in July of ‘08 that, you know, you’re close to the Governor, let him know that I am certainly interested in the seat.
Lindsey Graham turning socialist
It’s fitting that Maxine “Let’s nationalize the oil industry” Waters is there for the occasion. “We’ve come a long way” indeed.
Here’s the Roubini op-ed to which Stephanopoulos refers at the beginning. Quote:
Basically, we’re all Swedes now. We have used all our bullets, and the boogeyman is still coming. Let’s pull out the bazooka and be done with it.
Exit question: How’s Michael Steele going to explain to Glenn Beck six months from now why the Senate GOP voted for socialism?
B. Hussein Obama administration no longer denying interest on pursing the censorship, err Fairness Doctrine
With as far left as Hussein Obama has taken this country in just over 3 weeks of his dictatorship, it should come as no surprise that his administration is no longer in denial about pursing the Fairness Doctorine. Obama’s campaign gave this definitive statement in June 2008:
“Senator Obama does not support re-imposing the Fairness Doctrine on broadcasters,” said press secretary Michael Ortiz in an e-mail to B&C late Wednesday.
“He considers this debate to be a distraction from the conversation we should be having about opening up the airwaves and modern communications to as many diverse viewpoints as possible,” said Ortiz.
Jim Geraghty reminds us, all of Barack Obama’s statements come with an expiration date. Today, Chris Wallace interviewed David Axelrod and asked him directly about the Fairness Doctrine — and suddenly the White House adviser got a lot less definitive:
WALLACE: Will you rule out reimposing the Fairness Doctrine?
AXELROD: I’m going to leave that issue to Julius Genachowski, our new head of the FCC, to, and the president, to discuss. So I don’t have an answer for you now.
That’s hardly a denial, as Politico’s Michael Calderone notes:
Lester Kinsolving, the conservative radio host, has twice asked Robert Gibbs about it in the briefing room, and each time, the press secretary didn’t reveal the administration’s position.
Last week, I reached out to press office staffers in order to find out if the administration’s position is the same as in June, and have not yet received a response.
If Obama’s position on the Fairness Doctrine is the same as during the campaign — and I have no reason to believe it isn’t — stating such clearly would quickly silence a lot of conservative critics who assume the Democratic president is going to try and reinstate the defunct policy. Otherwise, the Fairness Doctrine chatter on the airwaves isn’t likely to die down.
Not so clueless in Seattle: Protests against Porkulus on President’s day February 16th
WTF? A loony liberal city like Seattle protesting against the porkulus? There should be one of these in every town in America. What are you doing? Liberty Belle announces a taxpayer protest against the porkulus tomorrow in Seattle:
The protest against the porkulus is on for President’s Day!
Date: Monday, February 16th
Time: 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Where: Westlake Park in downtown Seattle, 401 Pine St., in the open area by the big arch. The idea is to use what we’ve learned about dissent over the last eight years. We need loud protests with lots noise and visuals. So, what should you bring?
Bring AS MANY PEOPLE AS YOU CAN! Bring your families, your friends, neighbors, bring everyone!
Bring SIGNS!! Get those craft making juices flowing and make signs and banners and pictures and paintings. Just imagine that you are a left-wing college student with nothing else to do and that should help you get started!
Bring something to sit on and appropriate clothing.
Most importantly, JUST BRING IT!!!
Worthless in Seattle: Worthless porkulus provision from a worthless Democrat senator Patty Murray
A multibillion-dollar provision of the new federal stimulus package, billed as a huge jobs boost for the Northwest, might not translate into lots of new jobs for years. The measure, inserted into the bill at the urging of U.S. Sen. Patty Murray, would enable the federal Bonneville Power Administration (BPA) to take on another $3.25 billion in debt to pay for construction projects, such as massive new power lines. Murray has said the increased spending limit would deliver a swift jolt to the Northwest’s economy, creating jobs and retooling critical infrastructure that would spur development of renewable energy such as wind power. But even without the new stimulus package, BPA was expected to begin construction of some new transmission lines this year. And, despite claims the added spending power will quickly create jobs, construction of many of the new power lines wouldn’t start for several years.
B. Hussein Obama celebrates the passage of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act aka Porkulus.
While B. Hussein Obama, and his America hater wife Michelle Obama are off frockling in Chicago to celebrate Valentine’s “weekend”, after the passage of the porkulus bill that according to Hussein “had to be done now to avoid economic catastrophy”, I guess we Americans have to “wait” until Monday to avoid the “catastrophy” with his signature, because after nearly 3 weeks on the job, he’s so tired and needed to take a break in Chicago with his family. The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 aka the Porkulus bill equals 5.7% of America’s Gross Domestic Product (GPD), whereas President Roosevelt’s New Deal, at its height of fiscally irresponsible, equaled approximately 2%. The gross spending called for by bill – mandated by Congressional Democrats and President Obama – is equal to or larger than the GDP of 157 nations – all but 14 countries listed in the International Monetary Fund’s database for 2007. Among those countries dwarfed by the unprecedented spending are United Arab Emirates, Dominican Republic, Iran, Taiwan, and Israel. President Obama, by his own admission, owns this recovery bill, the largest of its kind in US history. “Congress has passed my economic recovery plan –- an ambitious plan at a time we badly need it,” he said in his weekly address this morning. Like FDR’s socially-transformative welfare policies, the implications of this bill’s sheer size and scope will likely not be known for several years, if not decades. But as Americans wake to the sobering reality that we’re now indebted to China, Saudi Arabia, and other hostile foreign creditors for trillions all for naught, Republicans would do well to remember just whose “economic recovery plan” this was.Cross-posted at Skepticians.com.
Here’s how the “president” is spending his weekend:
and heres the weekly address calling the passage of the porkulus a “huge milestone”
BlagObamaGate returns: Burris covered up Blago solicitation to get his senate seat!
Maybe Harry Reid should have stuck to his guns. The Chicago Sun-Times reports that Roland Burris failed to disclose that impeached and former Governor Rod Blagojevich’s brother solicited a $10,000 contribution just prior to Burris’ appointment to the Senate. The admission conflicts with previous sworn depositions in the case, putting Burris at risk of perjury:
Former Gov. Rod Blagojevich’s brother solicited U.S. Sen. Roland Burris for up to $10,000 in campaign cash before Blagojevich named Burris to the coveted post — something Burris initially failed to disclose under oath before an Illinois House impeachment panel, records and interviews show.
Burris acknowledges being hit up for the money in a new affidavit he has sent to the head of the House committee that recommended Blagojevich be removed from office.
The affidavit is dated Feb. 5 — three weeks after Burris was sworn in to replace President Obama in the Senate.
Burris — who did not give money to the Blagojevich campaign fund in response to the previously undisclosed solicitation — provided a copy of the sworn statement to the Chicago Sun-Times Friday in response to questions about his contacts with the Blagojevich camp about fund-raising.
However, thats not all for the Blagos. If the Blagojeviches thought that impeachment might slake the thirst of federal investigators, they were sorely mistaken. The Chicago Tribune reports that feds dropped subpoenas on Patti Blagojevich’s former employer, which unceremoniously dumped her as soon as her husband joined the ranks of the unemployed. Investigators appear interested in what Patti did for the Chicago Christian Industrial League, and it looks like … not much:
Sneed hears the feds delivered a subpoena to the Chicago Christian Industrial League Wednesday, which once employed former first lady Patti Blagojevich as its development director.
The upshot: Sneed is told the feds requested the files pertaining to Mrs. Blagojevich’s employment, which included any of her development deals.
The backshot: The former first lady was hired last September at a $100,000-a-year salary to lure new donors to the league, which provides transitional housing and job training for the homeless. The state-of-the-art shelter facility was where Mrs. Blagojevich worked until mid-January, when she was abruptly dismissed from her job. Since then, she has filed suit claiming the league violated her contract.
Two left-wing loons arrested for assulating two college republicans at Anti-Hamas rally – any coverage in the media?
Of course not. Infact, the only site i’ve even seen this mentioned on is at Breitbart.TV. The College Republicans at SFSU had a petition for students to sign in opposition to Hamas. Playing off the Bush shoe throwing incident, students who opposed hamas were encouraged to throw a shoe at the Hamas flag. Radical leftists and Hamas supporters rallied against the event and became violent. San Francisco? Becoming violent against those who don’t cower to their left wing loony bin type of thinking? You don’t say! Is it not ironic that the “anti-war, peace loving” San Fransican idiots are always the most hateful, violent and always willing to start a physical assault in order to protest anti-violence? The religion of “peace” is on full display yet again.
Camille Paglia (democrat) actually speaks the truth about the censorship, err Fairness Doctrine
Ever been to one of those Brazilian restaurants where they bring out plate after plate of nothing but red meat? Steaks, chops, sausages — all you can eat, until you’re glassy-eyed from the sheer red-meatiness of it all. This clip is that restaurant.
Islam is a peaceful religion, muslims are peaceful people – Muzzammil Hassan beheads his wife in Buffalo NY
As if the residents of Buffalo, New York haven’t had enough tradegy to deal with over the last 48 hours or so with the Do you think this will get as much attention from the MSM as, say, the Ted Haggard scandal or Pat Robertson’s Teletubbies remarks?
Somehow, I doubt it. (Link):
Orchard Park police are investigating a particularly gruesome killing, the beheading of a woman, after her husband — an influential member of the local Muslim community — reported her death to police Thursday.
“He came to the police station at 6:20 p.m. [Thursday] and told us that she was dead,” Orchard Park Police Chief Andrew Benz said late this morning.
Muzzammil Hassan is the founder and chief executive officer of Bridges TV, which he launched in 2004, amid hopes that it would help portray Muslims in a more positive light.
The killing apparently occurred some time late Thursday afternoon. Detectives still are looking for the murder weapon…
Daniel Pipes has been tracking Bridges since 2004. See this helpful timeline updated with the latest gruesome developments. Pipes notes:
1) No, this is not at all obviously about domestic violence. It is obviously about a totalitarian ideology in our midst that authorities like district attorneys refuse to open their eyes to. Phyllis Chesler establishes this point beyond a doubt in a forthcoming Middle East Quarterly article, “Are Honor Killings Simply Domestic Violence?” Spring 2009, pp. 61-69.
But hey, at least those “wonderful” Hamas muslims found a cuddly new children’s character to replace Jew-hating rabbit
Muslims threatened on Friday to kill an American employee of the United Nations within 72 hours
Please keep American John Solecki in your prayers. Somehow, I don’t think more “dialogue” and “compassion” are going to help him:
Kidnappers threatened on Friday to kill an American employee of the United Nations within 72 hours and issued a grainy video of the blindfolded captive saying he was “sick and in trouble.” A letter accompanying the video delivered to a Pakistani news agency said the hostage, John Solecki, would be killed unless authorities released 141 women it said were being held in Pakistan.
The video and the demands indicated that Solecki, the head of the U.N. refugee agency in Quetta, a city near the Afghan border, was alive and that his captors wanted to negotiate.
Solecki, who appeared blindfolded and with a shawl draped over his shoulders in the 20-second clip, said his message was addressed to the United Nations.
“I am not feeling well. I am sick and in trouble. Please help solve the problem soon so that I can gain my release,” he said.
The kidnappers have identified themselves as the Baluchistan Liberation United Front, suggesting a link to local separatists who have waged a long insurgency against Pakistan’s government rather than to the Taliban or al-Qaida, which are fighting U.S. forces in Afghanistan.
Still, the death threat heightened fears for Solecki’s safety, coming just a week after Taliban militants apparently beheaded a Polish geologist abducted in another border area of Pakistan after the government failed to respond to demands for a prisoner release.
So what now Hussein Obama?
