And now the SIXTH Obama Cabinet nominee, HHS nominee Kathleen Sebelius is a tax cheat!
Count ‘em. SIX Tax Cheat. Well technically FIVE tax cheats, plus a spouse of a tax cheat. Today comes word about the fourth tax cheat nominated by Obama to his Cabinet. Today the tax cheat is Kathleen Sebelius, who replaced another tax cheat Tom Daschle to be Obama’s HHS. CBS has the info:
The wire service reports that she and her husband paid just over $7,000 in back taxes, along with $878 in interest, for the years 2005-2007
Here’s the list of Hussein Obama’s Tax Cheat nominees (so far) in addition to Sebelius:
Tom Daschle, the first HHS nominee,
Chief performance officer nominee Nancy Killefer.
Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner,
US Trade Representative Ron Kirk
Labor Secretary Hilda Solis’s (husband)
Not all protestors in London are the “anti-capitalist” pigs
With the G20 summit about to begin, London is expecting about 40,000 plus protesters. However, not all the protestors are of the left wing socialism loving variety. Of that number according to Open Market.org:
There is a small but growing and prodigiously brave group of idealists planning to throw their message and bodies into the breach. They are not there to demand government action against climate change, stricter business regulations, nor are they requesting money for the poor, hungry, or infirm. Their message is simple, but profound: Get out of our way.
This small band, comprised mostly of university students and recent graduates wants only to communicate the message to the world that capitalism is not to blame for the current economic crisis. In fact, they want people to know that interventionist policies are what got us into the mess in the first place and increased state intervention is unacceptable.
“The point must be made, essentially, that we do not live in a Capitalist system and certainly not a Laissez-Faire Capitalist system. The sectors of the economy that failed were the most regulated sectors of a ‘mixed-economy’,” said Rory Hodgson, University of York student and protest organizer.
Neal Wolin – the next Obama Treasury appointee with problems
Hussein Obama may have trouble getting his #2 at Treasury confirmed according to Hotair, and this time Republicans aren’t to blame. Neal Wolin who worked on the Treasury team that drafted the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act, which Democrats like Banking Queen Barney Frank and Chris Dodd blame for the economic meltdown is on the firing line.
Obama and ACORN connection suppressed by the NY Times before the election!
The Bulletin is breaking a story exposing Obama, ACORN, and the New York Times. The Bulletin says that the New York Times of deliberately killed a story that tied ACORN corruption to the campaign of Barack Obama, and doing so for political gain, and uses Congressional testimony for proof. From The Bulletin:
A lawyer involved with legal action against Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now (ACORN) told a House Judiciary subcommittee on March 19 The New York Times had killed a story in October that would have shown a close link between ACORN, Project Vote and the Obama campaign because it would have been a “a game changer.”
Heather Heidelbaugh, who represented the Pennsylvania Republican State Committee in the lawsuit against the group, recounted for the ommittee what she had been told by a former ACORN worker who had worked in the group’s Washington, D.C. office. The former worker, Anita Moncrief, told Ms. Heidelbaugh last October, during the state committee’s litigation against ACORN, she had been a “confidential informant for several months to The New York Times reporter, Stephanie Strom.”
Ms. Moncrief had been providing Ms. Strom with information about ACORN’s election activities. Ms. Strom had written several stories based on information Ms. Moncrief had given her.
Pay for Performance Act of 2009 – the bill to let government set your salary!
In a move that was hardly noticed by anyone (including those in the our wonderful media), the House Financial Services Committee, led by chairman Banking Queen Barney Frank, has approved a measure that the Washington Examiner describes:
In some key ways, go beyond the most draconian features of the original AIG bill. The new legislation, the “Pay for Performance Act of 2009,” would impose government controls on the pay of all employees — not just top executives — of companies that have received a capital investment from the U.S. government. It would, like the tax measure, be retroactive, changing the terms of compensation agreements already in place. And it would give Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner extraordinary power to determine the pay of thousands of employees of American companies.
The purpose of the legislation is to “prohibit unreasonable and excessive compensation and compensation not based on performance standards,” according to the bill’s language. That includes regular pay, bonuses — everything — paid to employees of companies in whom the government has a capital stake, including those that have received funds through the Troubled Assets Relief Program, or TARP, as well as Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac.
The measure is not limited just to those firms that received the largest sums of money, or just to the top 25 or 50 executives of those companies. It applies to all employees of all companies involved, for as long as the government is invested. And it would not only apply going forward, but also retroactively to existing contracts and pay arrangements of institutions that have already received funds.
Algore didn’t turn off his lights during “Earth Hour”, looks like Californians didn’t either
Liberal Hell California is a place famous for all its left-wing liberals, “environmentalists”, “peace lovers”, etc. California is of course represented by such wonderful politicians such as Nancy Pelosi, Maxine Dirty Waters, Barbara Boxer, and Diane Feinstein. So sure you would think that sham “Earth Hour” last week would have been a big hit all over the state wouldn’t you? Maybe a bunch of gatherings of people with candles singing kumbaya, give peace a chance, or just that old Coca-Cola song from the ’70s? Ehh, well not so much according to these CAISO Power Graph. Californians really do share something in common with Algore! (Aside from the nutty party).
Don’t dare say these words around muslims
You know Islam is like the “peaceful religion” right? Well with Hussein Obama heading off to Europe (and eventual Muslim country Turkey on April 6-7), The Christian Science Monitor has this list of words Hussein Obama had better avoid. I’ll give you one word: Freedom.
Glenn Beck DESTROYS Connecticut Attorney General Richard Blumenthal over AIG Bonus fiasco
The Glenn Beck show is quickly becoming my favorite show on the FOX News Network. The Hannity show is still great, but something about the Glenn Beck show is really begining to get me interested in watching (except of course with those fake crying moments). O’Reilly and his arrogant self can concerntrate on spamming his book on his TV show. Anyway, today’s Glenn Beck so featured a ’special’ guest. Connecticut Attorney General Richard Blumenthal, who has been part of the RICHunt against those AIG execs who recieved bonuses. Beck asked Bluemnetal several times: Under what law are you going after the AIG bonuses? And the only response that Blumenthal could come up with was: Because they are undeserving of it. Beck also asked the Connecticut Attorney General, why hasn’t he gone after Chris Dodd? Blumenthal said he doesn’t have the authority to go after Chris Dodd because he was a “federal official”. Michelle Malkin is right on the money with her statement: Blumenthal gives new meaning to AIG: Asshats In Government. Enjoy the video:
Sixth time ain’t the charm. John Murtha evades ethics investigation
As usual, and for the sixth time, the House has rejected a resolution by Jeff Flake to initiate an ethics investigation into the relationship between lawmakers at the PMA Group. If its any consulation, Flake gained more Democratic supporter than any of the previous votes. More from The Hill.
Old hag Helen Thomas wins an ‘award’
According to an e-mail received by Michelle Malkin, THE ADC is set to Honor Helen Thomas at Convention and Inaugurate Journalism Scholarship. You can read all the gory details at the link provided to Malkin’s blog post.
Two seized journalists now become North Korean “bargaining chips”
If you remember the story last week when two American journalists were seized by North Korean soldiers, there may be even more to the inicident. According to the Washington Post, these two woman are now likely to become bargaining chips for North Korea in its feuds with the outside world, according to analysts and politicians in South Korea.
Laura Ling and Euna Lee, reporters working for Al Gore’s San Francisco-based Current TV, were seized at 3 a.m. March 17 after walking from China across the shallow Tumen River into North Korea, according to a report in JoongAng Ilbo, a newspaper in Seoul.
The newspaper, citing intelligence sources in the South Korean government, said the two women have been moved to Pyongyang, North Korea’s capital, where they were being interrogated as possible spies.
The Brand New GM Logo!
Doug Powers has released the all new, GM logo!

Of course, I found this over Michelle Malkin’s site. If you have better ones (how can anyone top this), be sure to send them to her.
Terrorist plot foiled in at G20! – Make sure you bring plenty of teleprompters and tv screens Obama!
As the rumors continue about the mass violence and riots to take place in London this week, after the “anti-capitist” rallies over the weekend. Michelle Malkin has a series of links in here blog post. As far the “terrorist plot”, it turns out that the all the probe did was uncover ‘fake guns’.
Three men aged 25, 19 and 16 and two women of 20, from the Plymouth area in Devon, were held after the 25 year old was seen allegedly spraying graffiti.
A number of imitation weapons were seized in searches of several premises.
Assistant Chief Constable Paul Netherton said the weapons were “not major” and “probably not even lethal”.
The arrests were an “isolated incident” and local people were not at risk. The arrested people have not been linked to any religious group.

Banks were profitable in January and February! ……. Thanks to AIG
I saw over at Michelle Malkin another very irritating story which explains why the banks “claimed” they were profitable during the first two months of 2009. According to Malkin, Zero Hedge makes the case that the profitability was illusory — and that the feds surreptitiously funneled money to the banks via AIG.
FU Bill Maher! Enough of your troop smears!
Your movie was a huge failure, hardly anyone watches your HBO show, but that doesn’t give you any excuse to trash our troops. A quote from the following video from the dirtbag is as follows “At some point these people are going to have to learn to rape themselves.”
According to Michelle Malkin, there are two interesting things here that liberals seem to forget:Two quick things:
1) You’ll note that liberals have nothing to say about U.N. “peacekeepers” raping women and children around the world.
2) This story has gotten little attention here at home, but the woman who accused Lance Cpl. Daniel Smith of rape in the Philippines has recanted
Keith Olbermann not only fails at life, but twitter too!
On Thursday, Twitter was atwitter and blogs were abuzz about Keith Olbermann’s embarrassing “Worst Person” fail, following a post by Greg Pollowitz at National Review Online highlighting the hilarity. According to RedState
Olbermann named Twitter his “Worst Person in the World” because he mistakenly believed he wasn’t on Twitter. He was. So I thought I’d do something that Olbermann’s entire staff consistently fails to do: research.
The first lapse in research you already know about. Keith predicated his entire segment on the notion that he had no Twitter account, therefore the account in his name was fraudulent. Of course, it wasn’t true. MSNBC ran the Twitter account in Keith’s name. But believe me, this is only the beginning of an epic fail.
Politicians kids SHOULD be left off limits, even in this case
Those of you who read the New York Post’s recent story about a ‘ videotape’ that has yet to be seen in its entirety, allegedly with someone whose identity still hasn’t been confirmed is using a certain illegal drugs. The individual with possession of the ‘videtape’ wants $2 million for it. It supposedly features daughter of a very prominent American politician. The New York Post wouldn’t pay for the ‘videotape’, but they still have info on the details as to what this all involves. Just like I complained about all the BS flung at Sarah Palin’s kids, especially Bristol Palin, I will do the same in this instance. Politicians kids should be left off limits, period!
Fascism coming home to roost – Obama forces GM CEO Rick Wagoner out
AMERICA’S FASCISM COMING HOME …… to roost
The Hussein Obama administration has asked Rick Wagoner, the chairman and CEO of General Motors, to step down and Wagoner is agreed, a White House official said, according to Politico.
On Monday, President Obama is to unveil his plans for the auto industry, including a response to a request for additional funds by GM and Chrysler. The plan is based on recommendations from the Presidential Task Force on the Auto Industry, headed by the Treasury Department. The White House confirmed Wagoner was leaving at the government’s behest after The Associated Press reported his immediate departure, without giving a reason. The surprise announcement about the classically iconic American corporation is perhaps the most vivid sign yet of the tectonic change in the relationship between business and government in this era of subsidies and bailouts. Wagoner has been CEO for 8 years and at GM for more than 30. The company has not said who will replace him. GM has received $13.4 billion in government aid, and has been seeking $16.6 billion more.
Another Billary gaffe – who painted it?
Obama, Biden, and Hillary. This is a true comedy team isn’t it? According to the Catholic News Agency
During her recent visit to Mexico, U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton made an unexpected stop at the Basilica of Our Lady of Guadalupe and left a bouquet of
white flowers “on behalf of the American people,” after asking who painted the famous image.
Obama to send troops in to Pakistan. Oops, forget it, another Obama flipflop
It was just three days ago that Obama strongly hinted that he would order American troops into Pakistan. Well so much for that idea. In yet another Obama flip flop, he tells the AP that he respects Pakistan’s sovereignty and foresaw no reason to violate it. Or do I call it POLK-EE-STAN now?
