While Obama and his staff smear Rush Limbaugh, the Brits are furious over the treatment of Gordon Brown – but poor Obama is simply “overwhelmed”

Telegraph UK writes a story today that the reason why Obama was so dumb and treated the Gordon Brown family so disrespectfully is simple. Obama is “too tired” from having to deal with the economic meltdown. As the excuses continue to flow, Obama still has no problem having cocktail parties are the White House almost weekly with $100 Wagyu steak, daily bashing of Rush Limbaugh, has no problem sitting court side at a basketball game while he should be running the country, or running off to Canada. Below is a quote from The Telegraph story:

Sources close to the White House say Mr Obama and his staff have been “overwhelmed” by the economic meltdown and have voiced concerns that the new president is not getting enough rest.

British officials, meanwhile, admit that the White House and US State Department staff were utterly bemused by complaints that the Prime Minister should have been granted full-blown press conference and a formal dinner, as has been customary. They concede that Obama aides seemed unfamiliar with the expectations that surround a major visit by a British prime minister.

But Washington figures with access to Mr Obama’s inner circle explained the slight by saying that those high up in the administration have had little time to deal with international matters, let alone the diplomatic niceties of the special relationship.

    I thought he wanted this job. Instead he wants to jetset all over the USA and the World, but he’s too lazy to wake up for a mid-morning meet and greet? uh oh.
