The First 60 days – full of Obama Gaffes

As the press continues to ignore his gaffes… imagine if Bush had made any one of these. There would be 24/7 news coverage of each one, and more about how Bush is stupid, Bush is the Devil, etc. Lets ignore all of Obama botched Cabinet appointments, Joe Biden’s gaffes, Obama’s budget being off by at least $1 trillion, and the stock market plunge since he became President. Lets see our summary for of the first two months in office:

- Obama gives PM of England Gordon Brown 25 DVDS which by itself is seen as a slap in the face. Not only is this ‘gift’ pathetic, the DVDs are even playable in England as the DVD’s region are NTSC and not PAL
- So far, Obama has tried to enter the White House through a window instead of the door…
- Obama nearly burned down his office when he lit the fireplace with the flue closed – the mantle burned, building was evacuated… the fire department extinguished the burning mantle.
- Obama reads from the wrong teleprompter and thanked himself for inviting the Irish PM to the East Room of the Whitehouse…
- Obama bumps his head getting into or out of the Presidential helicopter…
- Obama doesn’t know that there are only 50 states… (actually, this isn’t from his first 60 days in the White House, this was during the campaign. Still a good example).
- Obama doesn’t know what a P/E ratio is…
- Obama stuns a Marine by not saluting him, before boarding the Marine One Helicopter
- Obama tucks his shirt into his underpants…
- Obama doesn’t know who the President of France is… even wrote a letter expressing his hope to work with Chirac – who is not President!
- The Obama Special Olympics/Waterhead joke on Jay Leno
A couple of weeks ago, President Obama met with George Clooney in the White House to discuss Darfur. George Clooney told Obama, “Why just last week, 3 Brazilian missionaries were killed in Darfur.” President Obama’s countenance became very concerned and he began to frown with concentration… Obama leaned over and whispered to an aide, “How many is 3 brazillion?”

Here’s another whopper of a gaffe that you didn’t include:

Don’t forget the gaffe during the general election, when Obeyme commented about how Kansas had been really hit hard by tornadoes and that 10,000 people had been killed by them.
