Another way to apologize to the Brits for Hussein Obama and the sleeveless one’s atrocious treatment of Gordon Brown and his family
Send the British Embassy your apologizes on their Facebook page.
Somewhere in Kenya a village is missing its idiot , he was last seen in the area of 1600 Pennsylvania Ave.
Whats another $410 billion and 10% annual raises for Congress? Omni-porkulus passes.
With Hussein Obama expected to put his big “O” signature on the omni-porkulus bill that unfortunately passed tonight, I would like to give a middle finger to the following “Republicans”:
Shelby
Murkowski
Snowe
Cochran
Wicker
Specter
Bond
Alexander
WASHINGTON – Congress on Tuesday sent President Barack Obama a once-bipartisan bill to fund the domestic Cabinet agencies that evolved instead into a symbol of lawmakers’ free-spending ways and penchant for back-home pet projects. The Senate approved the measure by voice after it cleared a key procedural hurdle by a 62-35 vote. Sixty votes were required to shut down debate.
Obama is expected to sign the measure Wednesday to avoid a partial shutdown of the government. But the White House has kept the bill at arm’s length, calling it last year’s business. Obama is also set to announce steps aimed at curbing lawmakers’ so-called earmarks.
The $410 billion bill is chock-full of those pet projects and significant increases in food aid for the poor, energy research and other programs. It was supposed to have been completed last fall, but Democrats opted against election-year battles with Republicans and former President George W. Bush.
White House out of ammo to attack Rush – now onto Eric Cantor
With the White House out of ammunition to attack Rush Limbaugh, having exhausted all their resounces in the past couple of weeks, they’ve moved onto another target. This time the lucky target is Eric Cantor, Politico reports that the Rahm Emanuel-David Axelrod Perpetual Campaign Squad has its sights set on Rep. Eric Cantor, the rising Republican star:
For all the focus on the king of conservative talk, Democrats may have found a more important villain in House Minority Whip Eric Cantor, a telegenic young Republican trying to bring life to his party on Capitol Hill.
As the Virginia Republican fights President Barack Obama and the Democratic majority on everything from spending to stem cells, the Democrats are racing to introduce him to voters before he can introduce himself.
- At last month’s White House summit on entitlement reform, Obama painted Cantor as a poster child for obstructionism. “I’m going to keep on talking to Eric Cantor,” the president said. “Someday, sooner or later, he’s going to say, ‘Boy, Obama had a good idea.’”
- In a Washington Post op-ed last week, Obama campaign manager David Plouffe said Rush Limbaugh’s voice “could be heard in the words of new Republican quarterback Eric Cantor.”
- In robocalls aimed at potentially vulnerable Republicans in Michigan, Florida and California, union groups are urging voters to ask their representatives why they’re “following the ‘party of no’ and its Republican leader, Eric Cantor.”
- In a series of TV spots, Americans United for Change identified Cantor as one of the Republican leaders who have stood with Limbaugh and opposed Obama’s stimulus plan.
Card Check in big trouble in the Senate?
Several key Senators, including democras are having second thoughts about their support of legislation that would give more power to labor unions, dealing a setback to labor’s top priority as businesses warn of the damage the bill would cause. This includes Democrat Senator Ben Nelson of Nebraska.
Charles “Chas” Freeman is toast! The brilliance of Obama’s vetting process continues
Another day, another Hussein Obama nomination, Charles “Chas” Freeman, bites the dust. Freeman was selected to serve as chairman of the group that prepares the U.S. intelligence community’s most sensitive assessments. Freeman who is best known for his China / Saudi Arabia ties and Israel/America bashing, decided to request that his selection not proceed, according to Washington Independent:
Director of National Intelligence Dennis C. Blair announced today that Ambassador Charles W. Freeman Jr. has requested that his selection to be Chairman of the National Intelligence Council not proceed. Director Blair accepted Ambassador Freeman’s decision with regret.
UK’s Cabinet chief lambasts ‘incredibly difficult’ Obama team over G20
As if the 25 NTSC DVDs (for PAL dvd players) and plastic helicopters weren’t bad enough. From the Times Online:
Britain’s most senior civil servant has complained that Downing Street is finding it “unbelievably difficult” to make arrangements with the United States for the crucial G20 summit.
Sir Gus O’Donnell, the Cabinet Secretary, reportedly said that the handover to the Obama Administration was hindering discussions about the meeting in London next month.
The Prime Minister hopes that the summit on April 2 will produce a co-ordinated global strategy to tackle the economic downturn.
So far, his attempts to get his Washington and European allies to agree to a coherent common platform for the meeting have proved frustrating.
Hey Rachel Maddow, take your own advice! READ THE BILL!
I don’t watch MSNBC. Aside from their pathetic left wing moonbat bias, and their putrid “contributors” such as Maddow, tingly leg Matthews, and overbite Olby, there is nothing of interest on that network, which explains why they continue to be at the bottom of the ratings day after day and GE continues to go into the toilet. But last night Maddow sank to a new low (yes, even for her). According to both LaborPains.org and Michelle Malkin, during last night’s show Maddow told her 3 or so viewers to “read the bill,” referring to the “Employee Free Choice Act”. According to LaborPains.org:
Then, claiming that it’s “really simple to explain,” she doesn’t turn to the bill, but rather to Rep. George Miller’s fact sheet, which was issued by the Democrats on the House Labor and Education Committee. In fact, she reads it over and over again, all the while implying that she’s “reading the bill.” If Maddow’s viewers actually took her advice and “read the bill”—not the partisan hack job “fact” sheet she pretended was the bill—they would read that if a union turns in cards representing more than 50% of a company’s employees, “the Board shall not direct an election but shall certify the individual or labor organization as the representative described in subsection.“
And here is the YouTube video:
Embarassed how Obama treated Gordon Brown and dissed the Brits (America’s #1 ally)? Send them an apology!
There is only so much we can do while we watch Hussein Obama continue to embarass us in front of world leaders, watch the economy crumble to shambles, or watch as “our dear leader” would rather speak to ‘moderate’ taliban members (and probably treat them a lot better than Gordon Brown). If you were ticked off and embarassed by the way the Obamas (including the sleveless wonder) treated Gordon Brown and his family, you can send them an apology e-mail, like Grand Rants did.
Nancy Pelosi exposed! Documents show her repeated requests for military travel
According to both Michelle Malkin and Judicial Watch, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi has issued ‘unprecedented’ demands for Military Aircraft and Wasted Taxpayer Resources with Last Minute Cancellations! The following is a complete quote from the story posted by Judicial Watch. For the actual PDF documents, visit Judicial Watch to read them:
Judicial Watch, the public interest group that investigates and prosecutes government corruption, announced today that it has obtained documents from the Department of Defense (DOD) detailing House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s multiple requests for military air travel. The documents, obtained by Judicial Watch through the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA), include internal DOD email correspondence detailing attempts by DOD staff to accommodate Pelosi’s numerous requests for military escorts and military aircraft as well as the speaker’s last minute cancellations and changes. The following are a few highlights from the documents, which are linked in full below:
- In response to a series of requests for military aircraft, one Defense Department official wrote, “Any chance of politely querying [Pelosi's team] if they really intend to do all of these or are they just picking every weekend?…[T]here’s no need to block every weekend ‘just in case’…” The email also notes that Pelosi’s office had, “a history of canceling many of their past requests.”
- One DOD official complained about the “hidden costs” associated with the speaker’s last minute changes and cancellations. “We have…folks prepping the jets and crews driving in (not a short drive for some), cooking meals and preflighting the jets etc.”
- The documents include a discussion of House Ethics rules and Defense Department policies as they apply to the speaker’s requests for staff, spouses and extended family to accompany her on military aircraft. In May 2008, for example, Pelosi requested that her husband join her on a Congressional Delegation (CODEL) into Iraq. The DOD explained to Pelosi that the agency has a written policy prohibiting spouses from joining CODEL’s into combat zones.
- Documents obtained from the U.S. Army include correspondence from Speaker Pelosi’s office requesting an Army escort and three military planes to transport Pelosi and other members of Congress to Cleveland, Ohio, for the funeral services of the late Rep. Stephanie Tubbs Jones. Pelosi noted in her letter of August 22, 2008, that such a request, labeled “Operation Tribute” was an “exception to standard policy.”
- The documents also detail correspondence from intermediaries for Speaker Pelosi issuing demands for certain aircraft and expressing outrage when requested military planes were not available. “It is my understanding there are no G5s available for the House during the Memorial Day recess. This is totally unacceptable…The speaker will want to know where the planes are…” wrote Kay King, Director of the House Office of Interparliamentary Affairs. In a separate email, when told a certain type of aircraft would not be available, King writes, “This is not good news, and we will have some very disappointed folks, as well as a very upset [s]peaker.”
- During another email exchange DOD staff advised Kay King that one Pelosi military aircraft request could not be met because of “crew rest requirements” and offered to help secure commercial travel. Kay King responded: “We appreciate the efforts to help the codel [sic] fly commercially but you know the problem that creates with spouses. If we can find another way to assist with military assets, we would like to do that.”
“Taken together, these documents show that Speaker Pelosi treats the Air Force like her personal airline,” said Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton. “Not only does Speaker Pelosi issue unreasonable requests for military travel, but her office seems unconcerned about wasting taxpayer money with last minute cancellations and other demands.”

And today Michelle Malkin has a syndicated column exposing Botox Nancy even more.
David Viter pressuring congress with omni porkulus amendment to repeal congress automatic yearly pay raises
Members of Congress will earn an annual salary of $174,000 in 2009. Party leaders such as House Speaker Nancy Pelosi will get make $223,500 this year, while Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, House Majority Leader Steny H. Hoyer and Minority Leader John A. Boehner will earn $193,400 each. Notice the numbers if you will. All under $250,000? Hussein Obama’s so called “rich” level in which the increased tax level will kick in? Don’t you find it interesting that no member of Congress will have their salary get taxed higher? Now, Michelle Malkin writes about how GOP Sen. David Vitter is pressuring Dems and other members of Congress with an amendment to the omni porkulus bill that would repeal the current law allowing automatic pay raises for Congress. An e-mail from Viter’s office sent to Malkin says the following:
“Congress has been receiving pay increases most years under a formula set into law 20 years ago,” said Vitter. “At a time when so many Americans are losing their jobs and struggling to pay their mortgages, these raises just aren’t right. Most Americans don’t have a formula at their job that gives them automatic pay raises, and Congress shouldn’t either.”
The amendment would repeal the provision of law that set in place automatic raises for Members of Congress. The increase that went into effect for this year amounts to an additional $4,700 per year.
“Last year in Louisiana, the state legislature proposed a raise for its members, and Louisianans were rightfully outraged. I’ve heard from many constituents who have called to express their anger over automatic raises for Congress as well,” Vitter said. “With our economy in such a state of distress, it’s just not appropriate for Congress to continue to receive theses automatic pay raises. My amendment would require Congress to vote to approve any future pay increases.”
Vitter’s amendment is similar to a stand-alone bill he introduced at the beginning of the 111th Congress that also seeks to achieve the same goal – ending automatic pay raises.
Democrats’ Strategy Backfires as Limbaugh’s Ratings Double
The conservative radio host, and liberal scourge, reports that his ratings have nearly doubled since Democrats began their campaign to marginalize him. Revenues are up as well. Limbaugh told the Washington D.C. Examiner that he has booked 80 percent of his total for all of 2008, and expects to surpass that mark by the end of March. Things are so good for him right now, even the White House had to admit its attacks on Limbaugh were becoming “counterproductive.”
Wikipedia reaches 150 documented examples of political bias
Conservapedia has a growing list of examples of liberal bias, deceit, frivolous gossip, and blatant errors on Wikipedia. Lets give the Wiki crew a big round of applause today, as they have reached the big 150.
Earmarks to remain in omnibus porkulus – Obama breaks another campaign promise and will sign it
Breitbart and Michelle Malkin have the sorry details, pork to remain in the bill, Obama will sign the bill once it hits his desk (assuming he’s not too warn out), despite the claim of NO MORE EARMARKS during his campaign:
Members of both parties Monday voted to keep their cherished home-state projects as the Senate resumed debate on a spending bill covering foreign aid and domestic agency budgets.
By a 63-32 vote, lawmakers rejected a bid by Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz., to effectively strip about 8,000 of those earmarks from the $410 billion measure.
“If the president really wants to change Washington, as soon as this bill reaches his desk, he should veto it and send it back and say, ‘Clean it up,’” McCain said.
Instead, the White House says President Barack Obama will sign the measure, despite all the projects. During last year’s campaign, Obama he promised to cut the number of earmarks way back and institute other changes.
But lawmakers in both parties defend the practice, and 10 Republican joined most Democrats to defeat McCain’s amendment.
“Yes, I fight for funds for my state. That’s what I came here to do,” said Sen. Dianne Feinstein, D-Calif., a senior member of the Senate Appropriations Committee, which doles out the earmarks. “Candidly, why be an appropriator if you can’t help your state?”
Less than one month after TaxCheatStamps.com is made public, creator of site Michael Williams gets audited. Coincidence or no?
Coincidence? I think not. Remember less than a month ago when the Tax Cheat stamp story broke from Michelle Malkin’s site? It was a major hit with people who bought these up in droves. Check out what Michael Williams, creator of the site TaxCheatStamps.com had to say:
Today I received a letter from the IRS that my 2007 tax returns are being audited. Less than one month after launching TaxCheatStamps.com.
There’s a list of “proposed changes” they want to make to my 2007 return that would require me to pay almost $14,000 in taxes, penalties, and interest. All the “discrepancies” they list are bogus and I have documentation to prove it. I keep meticulous records and always pay every cent I owe to Uncle Sam. We’re going to talk to a lawyer ASAP.
There is no doubt in my mind that my family is being politically persecuted for making a mockery of our new Treasury Secretary Tim Geithner and the Obama administration.
Honestly, we’re scared. We haven’t done anything wrong (and I’ve got the documents to prove it in storage) but now the IRS is coming after us and they can destroy our lives with a flick of their pen. I don’t want to sound like a coward, but I’m so scared I’m literally shaking. We’ve got a seven-week-old daughter.
I suppose it’s a sort of honor to be persecuted like this. I’d really appreciate it if people would blog about this and link to this post. (And a prayer wouldn’t hurt.)
Thanks to reader Linda for the news.
Obama wouldn’t debate “evils” like Rush Limbaugh or Sean Hannity, but has no problem speaking to “moderate Taliban”, which is completely useless
Hussein Obama, in an interview with the New York Times on Saturday is basically said we can’t win in Afghanistan and that he would be “open” to reaching out to “moderate” elements of the Taliban there. So basically what Hussein is saying, is that he wants to reach out to “moderate” terrorists and killers? This is insane! More insane than giving 25 NTSC encoded DVDs to Gordon Brown to take back to England and try to play on a PAL DVD player. Heres a quote from Reuters:
Afghan President Hamid Karzai welcomed Obama’s proposal but analysts were doubtful.
“Obama’s comment resemble a dream more than reality,” said Waheed Mozhdah, an analyst who has written a book on the Taliban.
“Where are the so-called moderate Tal iban? Who are the moderate Taliban?” asked Mozhdah, who was an official in both the Taliban and the Karzai governments.
Karzai’s pro-Western administration and the growing number of foreign forces in Afghanistan have increasingly come under attack from a resurgent Taliban, with Obama now describing Afghanistan as a top foreign policy priority for his new administration.
“‘Moderate Taliban’ is like ‘moderate killer’. Is there such a thing?”, asked writer and analyst Qaseem Akhgar.
Now someone explain somethinh to me here. With right-wingers like Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity offering to debate Obama on the issues of this country that they strongly disagree with, Hussein will only bash these people and wouldn’t give them the time of day. But he will speak with “moderate terrorists”?
Remember David Kernell – the one who hacked Sarah Palin’s e-mail?
He’s back! David Kernell, son of a Democratic Tennessee legislator has been hit with three more federal charges. David Kernell had already been charged with hacking into the personal e-mail account of Sarah Palin, the Alaska governor and former Republican vice presidential nominee. According to Breitbart:
David Kernell, the son of a Democratic Tennessee legislator, pleaded not guilty to all charges Monday, and a magistrate agreed to push back his trial from May to October.
Kernell allegedly gained access to Palin’s account in September by correctly answering a series of personal security questions.
The new counts are fraud, unlawful electronic transmission of material outside Tennessee and attempts to conceal records to impede an FBI investigation.
An earlier indictment against Kernell was unsealed in October. He pleaded not guilty and was released on several conditions, including staying away from his computer except for school work.
The October indictment said Kernell tapped into the Alaska governor’s widely publicized Yahoo! e-mail account, reset the password and was able to read the contents, make screenshots and post his exploits on the Web using the nickname “rubico.” The indictment said at least one other person followed a similar path into Palin’s account.
Kernell is the son of longtime state Rep. Mike Kernell of Memphis, chairman of Tennessee’s House Government Operations Committee.
Obama phone home (The New York Times) – I am not a socialist
Hussein Obama after dismissing a question to New York Obama Times reporters regarding if he was a socialist or not, is now in damage control, and had to call the newspaper from the Oval Office to clarify his policies. Has there even been a President in History that not only has had so many gaffes in their first 7 weeks in office, that they even had to call a newspapers (especially one so in bed with Obama) to clarify things? Heres a quote from the Washington Times:
Opening the unusual presidential call to reporters by saying that there was “just one thing I was thinking about as I was getting on the copter,” he said it wasn’t he who started the federal government’s intervention into the nation’s financial system.
“I did think it might be useful to point out that it wasn’t under me that we started buying a bunch of shares of banks. It wasn’t on my watch. And it wasn’t on my watch that we passed a massive new entitlement -– the prescription drug plan — without a source of funding. And so I think it’s important just to note when you start hearing folks throw these words around that we’ve actually been operating in a way that has been entirely consistent with free-market principles and that some of the same folks who are throwing the word ‘socialist’ around can’t say the same.”
Asking Hussein Obama if he is a radical liberal socialist is like asking a leopard if it has spots.
Taxman! Charlie Rangel’s response to Rangel’s mounting ethical and financial scandals? “Why don’t you mind your goddamned business?”
One of the “men” responsible for writing the tax code, who himself admitted that its “too complex to understand”, and is yet another Democrat tax cheat was confronted by Hot Air TV special correspondent Jason Mattera.
When confronted by Mattera, Charlie Rangel had message for Jason and all you other “annoying” tax payers curious about his publicly-subsidized Cadillac, unpaid taxes, and shady rental property deals:
“Why don’t you mind your goddamned business?”
Michelle Malkin who wrote the details about the above article, also posted a video of the confrontation on YouTube. Check it out below:
According to Michelle Malkin, theres FINALLY a media outlet covering this. The DC examiner has the story. Let see if anyone else picks up on this.
Ricardo Munoz of Chicago (DEMOCRAT) – Get the f**k out of my office!
Michelle Malkin has the gory details. Alderman Ricardo Munoz from Chicago (what a shock), telling a constituent Get the f**k out of my office! Heres a snippet of Malkin’s article:
A Chicago taxpayer went to his 22nd Ward alderman, Ricardo Munoz, to protest the Democrat’s support for tax-increment financing. (I reported years ago on how these “public-private partnership” scams siphon off tax dollars to subsidize developers/builders who then reward politicians with big campaign donations.) The constituent wants to present Alderman Munoz with a petition. Munoz physically shoves the voter and yells: “Get the f**k out of my office!”
The tax cheat Tim Geithner is all alone…. Awww.
Poor little tax cheat Tim Geithner. Can’t find anyone to work with him. His deputies last week resigned (maybe they don’t have tax problems). I suppose the liberal whiners can always blame Bush for this problem. Let us remember, that this was the man who just HAD to be confirmed as Treasury Secretary despite his tax cheating, because he was so brilliant, and was going to help Hussein Obama magically fix everything ailing the country! Here’s a quote from the Breitbart article:
US Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner is practically alone on the job, working night and day to cope with the worst economic downturn in decades.
Of the 15 key Treasury Department positions that require Senate confirmation, only one has been filled. Stuart Levey, a leftover from the previous administration, who as under secretary of the treasury for terrorism and financial intelligence, is not central to the crisis management however.
Unemployment figures which revealed Friday that 651,000 jobs were lost in February, showed the recession is running ever deeper, but Geithner, who started work in late January, has no deputy secretary, no under secretaries for international affairs and no deputy under secretaries.
Annette Nazareth, who had been expected to be chosen as deputy secretary — Geithner’s top aide — has withdrawn her name, the Wall Street Journal reported in its online edition, citing people familiar with the matter.
The former Security Exchange Commission head “withdrew in large part because of the long vetting process” President Barack Obama has put in place to choose members of his government, the daily said.
Geithner’s choice for undersecretary for international affairs, Caroline Atkinson, also took her name out of the running, only weeks ahead of the April 2, Group of 20 developed and developing nations summit in London.
