Judd Gregg tells it like it is. We are headed for BK under Obama’s budget

Its becoming clearer by the day why Judd Gregg withdrew from Hussein Obama’s nomination of Commence Secretary. As if its not bad enough with Hussein Obama and the rest of the liberals on Capital Hill trying to hijack the 2010 census. Gregg does try and defending Timmy, despite after having basically called him a liar just last week.

“Your listeners have to understand how staggering the numbers are. We’re talking about a deficit in the trillion-dollar range for as far as the eye can see. We’re talking about deficits which are 4% to 5% of GDP – which is not sustainable under any form of government. We’re talking about a public debt – this is a debt that people own of the federal government – that will be around 80% of GDP. Historically, it’s been around 40% of GDP in the out years. The practical implication of this is bankruptcy for the United States. There’s no other way around it.”

More Obama stupidity! He hopes to “work with” Jacques Chirac over the next 4 years!

This had better be a joke, if not after the wrong region DVDs given to Gordon Brown, the “OVERCHARGE” button given to Russia, the making fun of the Special Olympics on Leno, this will be the topper, and Bush will look like a genious compared to Obama the nitwit. According to A Clinton Puma in Obama land:

Barack Obama does not seem to know that in May 2007, French voters elected Nicolas Sarkozy to the French presidency, to succeed Jacques Chirac who had been president for twelve years.

Yesterday, we told you Sarkozy is irritated because Mister O. refuses to tell him if he will accept to meet him personally in the next few months.

Strangely, we have just learnt this surprising piece of news :

Barack Obama wrote a letter to Jacques Chirac to tell him about his desire to “work with him” for the next four years !
In a letter described by Chirac as “very nice,” Obama wrote, “I am certain that we will be able to work together, in the coming four years, in a spirit of peace and friendship to build a safer world.”
The use of the word “peace” was taken to be an indirect reference to Chirac’s stance against the US intervention in Iraq, which Obama had also opposed.

This revelation was made by the online edition of the daily Le Figaro on Thursday.

So, if I understand well, Mister O., who has already despised Gordon Brown, behaving with him as if he did not know he is Prime Minister of Britain, does not even know the name of the French president.

I wonder if someone had told him, when he came to France last summer, that the man he met was NOT Jacques Chirac !

In any case, for Sarko, the blow must be terrible : he has tried to persuade Obama to invite him in Washington for months, and now he learns that his predecessor might soon be Obama’s guest at the White House before him !

Heres another link with info. The story continues to spread. Now Ace of Spades has it.

Norm Coleman toast? Coleman’s lawyer quits

Sadly, its looking more and more like Stuart Smalley, err Al Franken will get the disputed Minnesota senate seat. Hotair reports Joe Friedberg told local sports station KFAN that he was “done”, and then had to explain what he meant by “done”:

Q. Joe, are you done?

A. Yes, I’m done.

Q. Let me ask you in a different way. Is Norm done?

A. Well, I think that we have been trying this case with the appeal record in mind, and that’s where we’re going, and it’s going to be a very quick appeal, and then I will know whether or not it worked.

Q. Well, when you say quick appeal, are you confident that you are going to lose the case in front of the three-judge panel? By losing the case, I mean Norm ends up with less votes.

A. I think that’s probably correct that Franken will still be ahead and probably by a little bit more. But our whole argument was that it was a constitutional argument, and it’s an argument suitable for the Minnesota Supreme Court, not for the trial court. So we will see whether we were right or not.

So much for BO’s budget, CBO say annual deficits will be much worse than Obama thinks

And much worse than the liberal media wants you to take, or uh uh uh uhuh Robert Gibbs, or Bin Biden.

Remember how all the liberal/democrat whiners ranted and cried about how out of control Boooosh’s spending was, that he spent like a drunken sailor, etc. Last year’s deficit of $459 billion was the largest in the history over the country. Pretty bad huh? How about Hussein Obama’s ‘budget’ of averaging nearly $1 TRILLION per year:

In a new report that provides the first independent analysis of President Obama’s budget request, the nonpartisan Congressional Budget Office predicted that the administration’s agenda would generate deficits averaging nearly $1 trillion a year over the next decade — $2.3 trillion more than the president predicted when he unveiled his spending plan just one month ago.

And while Obama would come close to meeting his goal of cutting the deficit in half by the end of his first term, the CBO predicts that the nation’s annual operating deficit would never drop below 4 percent of the overall economy over the next decade, a level administration officials have said is unsustainable because the national debt would grow too rapidly.

By the CBO’s estimate, for example, the nation’s debt would grow to 82 percent of the overall economy by 2019 under Obama’s policies, compared with a pre-recession average of 40 percent…

Senate Budget Committee Chairman Kent Conrad (N-N.D.) has said the gloomier CBO forecast would require “adjustments” to Obama’s budget, though he declined to specify what changes would be necessary.

The RICHhunt

From Hotair:

Just in case people didn’t figure out what the end result of all this faux outrage over AIG bonuses would be, New York Magazine reports on the latest in liberal-populist tourism.  Community organizers for Connecticut Working Families Party want to send busloads of outrageously outraged people to the doorsteps of AIG executives’ homes … and claim that they don’t want to put them at risk.  Riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight:

The Connecticut Working Families Party this weekend has organized a bus store that will make stops at Wilton, Connecticut, AIG office as well as the security-patrolled homes of AIG execs who are fearing for their lives.

“We’re going to be peaceful and lawful in everything we do,” said Jon Green, the director of Connecticut Working Families. “I know there’s a lot of anger and a lot of rage about what’s happened. We’re not looking to foment that unnecessarily, but what we want to do is give folks in Bridgeport and Hartford and other parts of Connecticut who are struggling and losing their homes and their jobs and their health insurance an opportunity to see what kinds of lifestyle billions of dollars in credit-default swaps can buy.”

Right, they’re not fomenting rage, they’re just encouraging it. So if you happen to record someone’s address so you can return in the dead of night, it’s not like Working Families told you to! We know we sound paranoid and we really can’t believe we’re actually on the same side as Rush, but this is getting way out of hand. Oh, to have fat ladies in high heels clogging up the West Village again.

Iran’s Ayatollah Ali Khamenei not so impressed with Obama’s video or Obama himself

Fists still ‘clenched’? According to Right Pundits: The supreme leader of Iran, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has dismissed President Barack Obama’s attempt at “video diplomacy”.

The muslim had this to say back to the closet muslim:

“What is the change in your policy?” he asked.

“Did you remove the sanctions? Did you stop supporting the Zionist regime? Tell us what you have changed. Change only in words is not enough.”

Cap and trade goes byebye?

Since like Hussein Obama wouldn’t get everything he wanted according to Hotair. George Stephanopolous reported yesterday that Senate Democrats forced Barack Obama to choose between two break-the-bank policies for this year.  Hussein Obama apparently ‘traded’ the cap-and-trade in order to get started on a massive overhaul of the nation’s health-care delivery system.  Stephanopolous calls this a  “scorpion in the bottle” problem:

When the White House released its budget, I said the president’s effort to reform health care and cap carbon emissions were “scorpions in a bottle” — only one could make it through Congress this year.

This week, the White House and House Democrats made their choice: health care is the survivor.

As the Wall Street Journal and Washington Post have reported, House Democrats (backed by the White House) plan to write a budget resolution that allows health care to be passed by a simple majority (through the so-called “reconciliation” process) if a bipartisan compromise isn’t reached by September.

Cap and trade will not get the same budget protection, and there are nowhere  near 60 votes for it.  Keeping it out of the reconciliation process recognizes reality: Congress can’t pass it in the middle of a recession.

Can’t get your fill of daily Obama gaffes? Problem solved!

Hotair.com has a great new I guesss ‘feature’ for Hussein Obama’s constant gaffes: The Obamateurism of the Day. Heres a good one to kick it off, from Politico, demonstrating that the White House can’t quite figure out who represents what district in California:

Obama did the town hall, making the usual introductions: “We have Hilda Solis,” applause! and “The lieutenant governor,” applause! He added: “Got an outstanding member of Congress, Rep. Loretta Sanchez,” applause!

“Now, this is not Loretta’s district; this is actually Dana Rohrabacher’s district.” Boos come from the Dem crowd. “No, no, no, we actually — our office screwed up, and I think didn’t get the invitation to him on time, so he’s not here. That was a screw-up on our part. So I want to let him know we’re sorry about that, and I want everybody to give him a big round of applause; it’s his district.”

More media hypocrisy: No coverage of 3,000 tea party protestors in Orlando, FL – yet they have no problem covering a few hundred “anti-war” protestors

About 3,000 turned out today for a Tea Party protest in Orlando, FL. Did it get any coverage? Of course not! But of course, about a hundred show up in DC for some hippie anti-war and the AP is all over it of course. There is also between 300-500 peaceful, protestors in Lexington, KY protesting the out-of-control government spending, and naturally theres no coverage of that either. A Michelle Malkin reader Eric is liveblogging. Michelle Malkin has the pictures and videos and more info, since obviously you wouldn’t see it on the news.

Obama and the rest of the Democratss false hope and change

Transparancy! Accountability! The Movie! Heres a great new video sent out by the GOP posted over at The Anchoress. As Republicans fought to protect taxpayers from $350 billion in additional Wall Street bailouts from the second half of the ‘TARP’, Democrats in Congress assured the American people The Hussein Obama would control how taxpayers’ dollars would be spent. And as this video shows, they have done a bang up job!

Sarah Palin destroys Obama over his ‘Special Olympics’ pathetic joke!

You had to know that Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin would respond to the pathetic remarks made last night by Hussein Obama related to the Special Olympics on “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno”. Heres what she said from the National Review Online:

I was shocked to learn of the comment made by President Obama about Special Olympics,” Governor Palin said.  “This was a degrading remark about our world’s most precious and unique people, coming from the most powerful position in the world.
“These athletes overcome more challenges, discrimination and adversity than most of us ever will.  By the way, these athletes can outperform many of us and we should be proud of them.  I hope President Obama’s comments do not reflect how he truly feels about the special needs community.”

Well, after the way his allies went after her, he really couldn’t count on a full-throated defense of a boneheaded comment. Obama used the whole “it’s just a joke” excuse with his “lipstick on a pig” comment, too.

Kolan McConiughey, a Special Olympics bowler challenges Obama to a match!

Kolan McConiughey, a Special Olympics competitor who has bowled three perfect 300 games, tells TMZ that the Prez has to score a lot higher than 129 to beat him. Kolan says he bowls an average of 266. Kolan McConiughey — who works at a grocery store in Ann Arbor, Mich. — said he’d love to go to the White House to beat Barack on his own lane. Kolan said, “He’s cool, but he can’t beat me.” TMZ posed the challenge to the White House. They said “no comment.” LOL!

Barack Obama

Is Robert Gibbs the absolute WORST Press Secretary ever?

Its too bad Robert Gibbs can’t just use one of Hussein Obama’s teleprompters and get scripted questions for his daily White House breifings. Now that all the info is coming home to roost about Geithner knowing about these AIG bonuses at least on March the 3rd, when asked about it, all Gibbs could do was his usual: “Uhhh…uhhhh…uhhh…uhhh.”

Congress, Geithner lie again. Video shows they knew about the AIG bonuses on March 3rd!

Remember last week when tax cheat Geithner and Congress claimed they had no clue about these AIG bonuses until last week? Sorry Charlie (Rangel) and Timmy, and Banking Queen, etc, your lies have been exposed again. Watch this clip from a March 3rd hearing of the House Ways and Means Committee in which Rep. Joseph Crowley (D-NY) specifically mentions the upcoming payouts of over $162 million in bonuses to AIG execs, the very same number that inflamed Washington DC this week:

The full transcript circulating on the Hill is also available on at Malkin’s article linked above.

Add another $1.6 trillion in extra deficit, don’t be fooled by the acting on Capital Hill over the AIG bonuses

Michelle Malkin has a syndicated column today adding up all the spending that’s been going on while the AIG-bashing hypocrites on the Hill whine and moan about the $165 million in corporate bonuses none of them bothered to stop before they rushed to fork over billions to AIG in the first place. Among other things she mentions in her column is the little-noticed $6 billion GIVE Act, which just passed the House. Also note the rising cost of the $2 trillion cap-and-trade scheme, which vigilant GOP Sen. James Inhofe has been red-flagging. And lastly she mentions a Reuters story in which Senate Budget Committee Chairman Kent Conrad said on Thursday that he expects federal deficit spending will be about $1.6 trillion more over the next 10 years than what B. Hussein Obama original budget plan forecasted for.

Obama now kissing up to Iran!

According to FoxNews, Obama sent a video message to Iran on Friday, Obama says the U.S. wants to ‘engage’ with the nation and end decades of strained relations, but not unless their officials stop making threats. No word yet if the video message contained any Special Olympics jokes. I’m sure AJAD will be really impressed too.

We Are Angry Mr. President!

Heres a great post from the Sean Hannity forums. See if you agree with it:

Another pathetic Obama Joke

Aside from the insult to handicapped people, Hussein Obama made another pathetic joke on Thursday, well maybe not because he actually believes this. According to Michelle Malkin and Google, Obama actually said to Leno that Treasury Secretary and tax cheat Tim Geithner was doing an “outstanding job.”

President Barack Obama says his embattled treasury chief, Timothy Geithner, is doing an “outstanding job.”

In a taped appearance on “The Tonight Show”, he told host Jay Leno that Geithner is a smart guy who’s been handed an incredibly full plate. But he’s handling it all with grace and good humor. Listing the recession, the banking crisis and the need to coordinate with other countries, Obama acknowledged Geithner’s “on the hot seat”. But he says too many in Washington are trying to figure out who to blame for things — when they should be focused on fixing them.

Without his teleprompter – Obama makes fun of the Special Olympics on Leno!

obama_snob.jpgThis is what happens when you take the teleprompter away from the teleprompter President. I don’t watch Leno, I never have, and certain have no incentive to watch the slobbering tonight with Hussein Obama and Jay Leno (who incidently made makes about Sully) the day of that airplane water landing in New York. ABC news (already making excuses for the remark) mentions the following:

Towards the end of his approximately 40-minute taping, the president talked about how he’s gotten better at bowling and has been practicing in the White House bowling alley, even bowling a 129.

“That’s very good, Mr. President,” Leno said sarcastically.

It’s “like the Special Olympics or something,” the president said.

Did you find this crack offensive? You can vote in this poll. At the time of this posting, there are already 15,000 voters.

Here are some more sites mentioning on these complete and utter disgrace of a man’s crack:

Sarah Palin rejects $515 million from porkulus

Prepare yourself for another media onslaught Sarah. They already hunted down Levi Johnston, will they go after Bristol now? According to Conservatives 4 Palin and KTVA:

Governor Sarah Palin announced that she is proposing a bill that will allow the state to accept only 45-percent of federal recovery funds. Palin gave several examples that underlined her reasoning for wanting to reject the funds. In total, if the bill were passed, $515-million of the almost $1-billion would be rejected by the state.
