British Airline cowering to Islam by “erasing Israel” off their map, how long before US airlines follow?
Ajad should be quite happy. According to JPost, Israel has been excluded from digital maps displayed for passengers on British airline BMI flights from London Heathrow to Ben-Gurion Airport.
BMI, which runs flights to Ben-Gurion Airport twice daily, has declared that the maps are the result of a logistical error due to the company’s failure to modify the system created by British airline BMED (British Mediterranean Airways), now defunct, from which BMI acquired the planes two years ago.
BMED, formerly a franchise of British Airways, was absorbed into BMI in October 2007.
BMED flew primarily to the Middle East – notably to Amman, Beirut and Damascus, but not Israel. The maps were therefore tailored to its Muslim passengers, and also highlighted Islamic holy sites, BMI spokesman Phil Shepherd said.
With the muslim in chief in the White House now, I wonder how long it is before we start seeing US airlines doing the same thing to make sure they “don’t offend muslims”?

It isn’t too early to start cleaning up America by working to defeat the scumbags who represent you in Washington. If you think your Senators and/or Representatives have been in D.C. too long–and have compromised themselves as a result–start writing letters to the editor, get the word out at mass meetings, figure out ways to get somebody clean into their offices. Anybody got any better ideas? One of my Senators, who is a Republican from the most conservative state in the nation (Utah), stood shoulder-to-shoulder with Harry Reid and the others when the first bailout was paid. Turns out he is one of the biggest recipients of campaign contributions from Freddie Mac. He made his living before he became a Senator as a lobbyist. During his first campaign he cleverly promised to do something about taxes. After being elected, he was amazingly quiet until the bailout came along. My other Senator is condescending when I write to him asking him NOT to support people he ends up supporting (like Geitner). I think the only way to clean up D.C. is to clean out the both houses of Congress. Obama is an outrage (go here to find a pretty decent list of the outrageous things he has done during his first 100 days: http://theobamacrisis.smfforfree.com/index.php), but he isn’t the only outrage. It will take the effort of a lot of people to take back our country from thieves and frauds who think they are the elite.

As another snoozefest of a press conference played on and on, in which Obama yet again dodged any remotely tough question, such as the whole “waterboarding” issue, and will he go after the evil Bush people, New York Times “reporter” Jeff Zeleny asked Hussein Obama maybe the “toughest” question the NYT has ever asked a liberal candidate. Yes people, this is what journalism as become with the economic situation, the two wars, the threat of the Taliban getting Pakistan’s nukes, and so forth:

The House of Representatives passed a $3.44 trillion budget resolution for fiscal year 2010 Wednesday, approving most of President Obama’s key spending priorities and setting the federal government in a new direction with major increases for energy, education and health care programs. The resolution, which was approved by a vote of 233 to 193, passed in a virtual party-line vote. All but 17 House Democrats supported it, and no House Republicans voted in favor.
The measure passed two days after congressional Democrats reached an agreement reconciling earlier House and Senate versions of the budget package.
