If Obama says it, it must be true, 9 million Americans can reduce mortgage payments

scamwow-obama.jpgI’m quite sure, after the democrats caused this subprime crisis by forcing banks to loan to those who could never pay that there are 9 million responsible folks out there who would benefit from this program! I mean afterall, if people were responsible in the first place, would they need government help right now? From MarketWatch:

President Barack Obama said Thursday that up to 9 million Americans can reduce their mortgage payments by refinancing using government programs. Speaking at the beginning of a White House roundtable about housing finance, Obama said mortgage rates are at historic lows and a typical homeowner can now save about $2,000 a year by refinancing. “The programs that have been put in place can help responsible folks,”
