Obama – From bowing to Muslim kings to shaking the hand of Hugo Chavez, dictator who has had many ‘Death to America’ rallies – Update: Chavez gives Obama an Anti-America “gift”!

Obama is getting quite adept at trashing America, as he again apologized in Mexico for America “buying their drugs”. He also bows to muslim Saudi Kings (which the white house denied but is its plain as the nose on yoru face), gives wrong region DVDs to Gordon Brown (Prime Minister of our closest ally). And now Hussein Obama is seen shaking hands with Hugo Chavez. The same Hugo Chavez that had crowds chant DEATH TO AMERICA, the same Chavez that called Booooooooosh the devil, the same Chavez that said Hussein is an ignoramus. Well, at least he didn’t bow this time.

According to ABC:

At President Obama’s meeting with the heads of South American countries this morning, Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez stood, walked over to him, and presented him with a copy of “Open Veins of Latin America: Five Centuries of the Pillage of a Continent” by Uruguayan author Eduardo Galeano. The book, first published in Spanish in 1971, offers a critique of the consequences of 500 years of European and U.S. colonization of Latin America.

Frankly, i’m surprised Hussein doesn’t already have this book in his collection. But it seems he did enjoy the ‘gift’ as he called it a ‘nice gesture’.

“The United States empire is on its way down and it will be finished in the near future, inshallah,” Chavez told reporters, ending the statement with the Arabic phrase for “God willing.”

From a single act of good faith, a monster of a regime (Cuba’s) has accepted to talk with us on multiple fronts. Something no other administration including the retarded administration of the past 8 years accomplished. Put your bigotry and racism in check and accept the fact that 56% of this great country voted for President Obama. You gave the village idiot 8 years…give the college professor 4!!!

Learn Spanish Obama. Hugo Chavez calls him a “trained monkey.” He quoted an old Spanish saying for Obama,”aunque la mona se vista de seda, mona se queda (even if you dress a monkey in silk, it still remains a monkey.” Blogs from Venezuela and other Spanish countries are making fun of Obama and the USA with quite an amount of racist epithets. They say that the USA is ball-less. They speak of Obama’s mother as a whore and Obama as an ignorant “negro.” They see no friendship. They do not want it. What they see is that the evil empire of the USA is pleading on its knees. Learn Spanish. Read the blogs. I am not amused.

Obama next meets with Hugo Chavez…

He’s met with the awful dictator of Venezuela, who recently fixed things so that he could remain dictator of the Latin American country eternally. Oh, and Obama shook hands with Chavez too….

Why on earth can we not talk and listen before we condemn? It is not weak to shake hands and listen to your adversaries! I think there are other sides than americas with other agendas. I do think that as great as we have been to other countries- wwI, WWII, the marshal plan, etc , we have also made mistakes.
It is not cowardly to open a new way to dialogue with those who we disagree with.
Why are you so closed? Why is it a “liberal machine” that brainwashes when listening and trying another approach should be lauded.
I have lived in Latin America for 6 years, Africa for 2, Europe for 1 and Asia for 1 working as in diplomatic relations for the state department. It is refreshing to see REAL dialogue instead of the old tired demanding…
