17-year-old girl flogged in Pakistan!
Oh excuse me… “Palk-EE-Stahn”. Here is another example of the wonderful, “religion of peace” that is Islam. According to Michelle Malkin, a 17-year-old girl was publicly flogged by the Taliban in Pakistan’s Swat Valley after her neighbor accused her of adultery. So who helped with the flogging? Why none other than her own brother who held her down as the Muslim adultery police whipped her. Malkin’s post did continue a Youtube video on this incident, but it looks like the censorship police at Youtube got rid of it. And also, according to the Guardian UK:
Reached by phone, Taliban spokesman Muslim Khan claimed responsibility for the flogging. “She came out of her house with another guy who was not her husband, so we must punish her. There are boundaries you cannot cross,” he said. He defended the Taliban’s right to thrash women shoppers who were inappropriately dressed, saying it was permitted under Islamic law.

At least twelve people are dead after a gunman went on a shooting spree inside the American Civic Association in Binghamton, according to preliminary information from state police. With President Hussein Obama on the other side of the pond getting ready to visit his beloved Turkey, where is our Vice President Joe Biden during this horrible tragedy today? According to WPIX:
Vice President Joe Biden is traveling to New York Friday to address members of a national civil rights organization founded by the Rev. Al Sharpton.
Biden, who will speak at the National Action Network’s 11th annual conference in Manhattan, is the first sitting vice president to attend the Harlem-based group’s yearly meeting. Former President Bill Clinton gave a speech to the conference in 2007.
President Barack Obama has chosen Biden to oversee the enactment of the $787-billion federal stimulus package Obama signed earlier this year.
Some political experts acknowledged the Obama administration doesn’t share the same politics on race as Sharpton, but said Obama realizes Sharpton appeals to some. It’s why Biden agreed to speak at the event, they said.

You can now “legally” rape a woman in Afghanistan
Just more examples of how that “peaceful religion” treats woman. According to The Independent:
Afghanistan’s President, Hamid Karzai, has signed a law which “legalises” rape, women’s groups and the United Nations warn. Critics claim the president helped rush the bill through parliament in a bid to appease Islamic fundamentalists ahead of elections in August.
Maybe this is just America or Israel’s fault or smth.

You know, I’ll admin I didn’t know the so called “protocol”, but you would think the President of the United States and the ‘First Lady’ would at least know such things, or at the very least be briefed about such things. The rules are set in stone, agree with them or not, that you simply can NOT touch the Queen of England. This Times story (surprisingly) has the story and details, which also mentions that that in 2000 John Howard, then Prime Minister of Australia, got plenty of criticism for apparently putting his arm around the Queen to direct her through a crowd.
Bush kissed up to the Saudi King, Now Obama does a deep bow to the Saudi King – just like the muslim that he is!
Lefties always criticized Bush for palling around,kissing, and holding hands with Saudi Arabia’s King Abdullah. I could never stand it either, and neither could other “ring-wingers” such as Michelle Malkin expressed our disgust many times over the years with the Bush administration’s kowtowing to Saudi Arabia King. Now, I wonder if lefties will have the same reaction now that Hussein Obama is kissing up the the Saudi’s? Obama gave the Saudi King a ‘bow’ today (after not even having the decency to give the Queen one).
Joe Biden the idiot strikes yet again
Joe Biden is proving to be the dumbest vice president this century and certainly the worst since Dan Quayle with Bush Sr. It seems daily this idiot has his foot caught in his mouth, or has the administration taking credit for things that have nothing to do with it. The latest idiocy from Joe Biden comes from Raleigh, North Carolina, where he went to to take credit for federal funding a fire station received. Unfortunately, the funding came from George Bush, not Porkulus, as Biden claimed:
Biden and U.S. Secretary of Agriculture Tom Vilsack announced a new wave of $10.4 billion in federal stimulus money for home loans across the country, and billions more for essential services in rural communities such as Pikeville, which is getting money for a new fire station. Biden used the outdated, current station as a backdrop. Pikeville is just north of Goldsboro in Wayne County.
“We’re investing in places like this all across the country,” Biden said, “to demonstrate the vital role towns like this play in the recovery.”
Most of the money for the station that was announced Wednesday, however, had been secured last year under the Bush administration, according to fire department officials.

House passes the “Pay for performance” bill – 10 RINOs vote for it
The U.S. House of Representatives on Wednesday passed a bill to approved legislation to curb “excessive” employee pay at financial firms that receive government bailout funds, a measure that could supplant an earlier effort to heavily tax executive bonuses according to Reuters:
The bill, which passed on a 247-171 vote, would give the U.S. Treasury broad powers to prohibit “unreasonable and excessive” compensation and bonuses that are not based on performance standards.
The new curbs would apply to all employees, not just executives, of firms that have received capital investments from the Treasury’s $700 billion financial rescue fund. The standards also would cover compensation paid to an employee after leaving a firm or before joining it.
Even more surprising according to Malkin’s post is that Eric Cantor pulled an Obama and voted “present”. WTF is up with that?
The first ‘official’ tax increase begins today: Obama’s beloved Cigarettes
Obama oves cigarettes as we all know. But in order to pay for his Trojan Horse the S-CHIP, he raised taxes on cigarettes. Hotair says that it will hit working class families the hardest and AP reporter Calvin Woodward is REALLY pissed off about it:
One of President Barack Obama’s campaign pledges on taxes went up in puffs of smoke Wednesday.
The largest increase in tobacco taxes took effect despite Obama’s promise not to raise taxes of any kind on families earning under $250,000 or individuals under $200,000.
This is one tax that disproportionately affects the poor, who are more likely to smoke than the rich.
To be sure, Obama’s tax promises in last year’s campaign were most often made in the context of income taxes. Not always.
“I can make a firm pledge,” he said in Dover, N.H., on Sept. 12. “Under my plan, no family making less than $250,000 a year will see any form of tax increase. Not your income tax, not your payroll tax, not your capital gains taxes, not any of your taxes.”

The goods news out of London is that Barack Obama has reaffirmed America’s “special relationship” with the U.K. The bad news is that the “affinity and kinship” that the U.S. president spoke of apparently only extends to England.
Mr. Obama’s first major foreign trip has been seen as a test not just of his leadership skills, but of his ability to navigate the protocols of diplomacy. In the U.K., that means mentioning the famous special relationship between the countries, which has been important here ever since Winston Churchill first referenced it after World War II.
On Wednesday at a joint conference with Prime Minister Gordon Brown, Mr. Obama made a pass at acknowledging the special relationship. Unfortunately, he inadvertently broke a cardinal protocol by at one stage using England to denote U.K.
We owe so much to England; that when you come here there’s that sense of familiarity, as well as difference, that makes it just a special place,” he said, leaving Wales, Northern Ireland and Mr. Brown’s home country of Scotland out in the cold.
But in a statement to make the mainly republican-minded Scots wince, Mr. Obama conceded one thing he loved about the U.K. — the Queen. [emphasis added]

G20 protestor nutbugs breaking into banks, getting out of hand – Even dirtbag Russell Brand shows up!
Michelle Malkin warned us about this last week in her columns, now things are starting to become reality as
Anti-capitalist protesters are believed to have broken into a branch of the Royal Bank of Scotland in the centre of London today after smashing windows with a volley of missiles.
With police on horseback unable to maintain control and being forced back, a series of windows at the building were broken, graffiti was daubed on the walls and there were reports that some protesters had broken into the branch.
Hundreds of protesters were seen to converge on the bank, on the corner of Threadneedle Street and Bartholomew Lane, as a total of 4,000 demonstrated outside the Bank of England nearby.
As police on horseback and in riot gear proved unable to protect the building, which was thought to be empty, officers with dogs charged at the crowd in an attempt to force them back. The crowd were heard to chant: “Shame on you” as officers drove them away from the door…
With the demonstrations – carried out by a combination of anarchists, anti-war protesters, environmentalists and others – rapidly heating up, Scotland Yard said cordons had been put up all around the surrounding area in response to “increasing levels of violence.”
…Police confirmed earlier that 11 people had been arrested for impersonating police officers as they travelled towards Bishopsgate in uniform in a fake armoured personnel carrier.
And guess who was there! Among those spotted among the crowd was the comedian Russell Brand, who said he was accompanying the marchers because he was interested to see why the protest was taking place.

Did she mean praise Allah? Zeituni Onyango is a muslim afterall isn’t she? Looks like Hussein Obama’s muslim aunt Zeituni Onyango isn’t going anywhere until *at least* 2010 according to Michelle Malkin:
Zeituni Onyango, the Kenyan aunt of President Obama, emerged this morning after a brief, closed-door hearing in US Immigration Court and smiled broadly.
“Praise God,” Onyango said softly, holding her head high as she was surrounded by a throng of men in suits.
Judge Leonard I. Shapiro continued Onyango’s case until Feb. 4, 2010, which allowed her to stay in the United States until at least that date, according to Fatimah Mateen, a spokesperson for the court. At the initial appearance, the judge explained the deportation charges against Onyango and detailed her rights. Mateen briefed reporters in the lobby of the courtroom, standing beneath a framed photograph of Onyango’s nephew, President Obama.
“Ms. Onyango case is being treated just like any other case before an immigration judge,” Mateen said.
