Egomaniac Obama doesn’t call Major Garrett at press conference because Fox didn’t air Press Conference – now confirmed!
Fox News White House correspondent Major Garrett appeared earlier morning on “Brian and the Judge,” finally confirmed why he didn’t get a question during Wednesday’s prime time news conference. If you remember earlier in the day, Hussein at a town hall in Missouri dissed Fox News and the Tea Party attendees. Now we learn from Garrett himself that the reason why Hussein didn’t call on him for a question was a revenge tactic because the regular Fox network refused to air the presser. But hey, at least we learned what enchanted him during it. From TVNewser:
“That was retribution for the FOX network, broadcast network, running with its regular scheduled programming instead of taking the White House press conference,” he said. “I was warned that it might be considered as part of the overall consideration as to whether or not I’d be called on.”
Garrett thinks more networks may opt out of coverage soon. “The other networks are going to look at the declined public interest, the decline of news value of these events and say, ‘Wait a minute are we becoming a news organization or are we just becoming a megaphone for the White House?’” said Garrett. “I wouldn’t be surprised if some of the other networks peel off following FOX’s lead.”
