Iran finally caves, Roxana Saberi finally freed from prison
Mounting pressure from people ticked off in the US, pleas from her family, and various blog sites set up in Roxana Saberi’s honor have finally worked. American journalist Roxana Saberi was released Monday from an Iranian prison, where she had been held since January. The senator of North Dakota, where Roxana Saberi, said the Iranian government has rectified a “terrible miscarriage of justice,” and officials said she is now free to leave the country. Roxana Saberi was originally arrested in Iran back in January. The Iranisn’s first excuse was because she had attempted to buy “bootleg liquor”, then they charged with working in Iran without proper press credentials. Eventually the Iranians charged Roxana Saberi with a BS spying charge.
