Soda taxes and Cheerios – the latest Obama targets

Cereal Makers General Mills, makers of Cheerios cereal has been ‘warned’ by the FDA Because Claim Of Lowering Cholesterol 10 Percent In Month Makes It A “Drug”. How long has Cherrios been using this “lowers cholesterol” in their advertising? Many years from my memory. But all of a sudden now its taboo? Well, Obama certain knows his drugs since he was previously a crack head. Oh and in case you missed it, the Wall Street Journal mentioned earlier in the day that Senate leaders are considering new federal taxes on soda and other sugary drinks to help pay for an overhaul of the nation’s health-care system. Maybe Obama’s FDA should consider a Cheerios “drug” tax too.
