		<description>The real tax to me is the industry development that won&#039;t get done because it has to focus on light-weight, better efficiency, etc. to save the gas.  Where&#039;s the real revolution in power train or transmission?  It really took that long to get to airbags, and they were that poorly thought?

Regulation as a forcing function, be it safety, efficiency, or even price, just hurts the other vectors of auto manufacturing.  Go look at how computers have evolved as an example.</description>
