Simon Owens sent me an e-mail mentioning how he got a chance to speak to National Organization for Marriage Director Brian Brown about how his group plans on fighting back against Perez’s DMCA takedown notices.The gossip blogger Perez Hilton, aka Mario Armando Lavandeira sent DMCA takedown notices for a YouTube video because it shows three seconds from his video blog. But does the ad constitute fair use?

Democrats killed language in the H.R. 1913 hate crimes bill that would have excluded pedophiles from receiving protections. Today on the Mexican holiday Cinco da Mayo, President Barack Obama joked it was ‘Cinco de Cuatro,’ botching a play on the Spanish word for ‘four’ when he meant to say ‘Cuatro de Mayo’ or the Fourth of May. It happened during an event at the White House on the eve of the Mexican holiday. (May 4)
ACORN charged with voter registration fraud AGAIN – this time in Nevada
Guess who Nevada authorities are accusing of illegally paying canvassers to sign up new voters last year? Why its none other than Obama’s Acorn! According to KVBC:
Attorney General Catherine Cortez Masto filed charges Monday alleging the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now had a handbook and policies requiring employees in Las Vegas to sign up 20 new voters per day or be fired.
Nevada Secretary of State Ross Miller and Masto say that’s voter registration fraud, and it violates state law banning quotas for registering new voters.
And just think, thanks to Obama, ACORN will be handing the 2010 Census!
Math is hard for Arnold and the California democrats, income tax revenues fall short by $2.5 BILLION
Democrats, and the closet democrat Arnold Schwarzenegger simply aren’t very good at math (or governing a state either). Sales tax went up 1% in April, which also happens to be California’s largest tax-collection month, yet tax-collection has fallen short of expected revenue by more than $1.8 billion in personal and corporate income taxes. California’s tax receipts so far are about $2.5 billion behind projections for the current fiscal year and forecasts are for a revenue shortfall of $8 billion next year. Also, if voters reject Proposition 1C (borrowing against future state lottery sales) along with 1D and 1E (shifting taxes for children and mental health programs to other uses), the state would be short another $6 billion. Now thats how you run a state Democrats!
Hussein Obama wipes out old Bush twitter account posts
The man of “hope and change” has decided to wipe the current White House twitter account for some unknown, mysterious reeason. Is the DNC planning on making a new ad saying Bush didn’t know how to use a computer like an Obama campaign did against John McCain? Mere Rhetoric mentions that the Google cache just points to the now-blank pages where the tweets used to be, but the actual content has been permanently erased. I haven’t bothered checking web.archive.org yet.
