Obama’s teleprompter gets a BSOD – or Obama doesn’t know his Secretary of Defense is ROBERT Gates

You know things are pretty darn scary when the President doesn’t even know the name of his Secretary of Defense. Watch the following video:

Our Secretary of Defense William Gates? Did TOTUS go BSOD on us? Did the Windows Vista logo cloud Obama’s memory? Waiting for liberal excuses on this will be fun. “William” doesn’t sound anything like “Robert” Gates. Unless Obama has been busy working behind the scenes to help develop Windows 7.

Obama ‘Distracted’ by Biden’s ‘Indiscipline’

LOL! Obama is so “distracted by his vice president’s indiscipline” that he has been forced to rebuke privately Vice President Joe Biden, according to a new book by Newsweek journalist Richard Wolffe, who interviewed Obama a dozen times. According to Fox News:

“He can’t keep his mouth shut,” Wolffe quotes a “senior Obama aide” as saying of the gaffe-prone Biden in “Renegade: The Making of a President,” set for release June 2.

As evidence, Wolffe reports that during the presidential transition period, Biden insulted Valerie Jarrett, one of Obama’s closest friends and confidantes. Jarrett had been considered Obama’s top choice to fill his vacated Senate seat in Illinois, but took herself out of the running just hours after Illinois Gov. Rod Blagojevich allegedly told a wiretapped conference call he would not heed any Obama recommendation without a payoff.

“Soon after Jarrett pulled out of consideration for the Senate seat, the senior transition team met to discuss cabinet picks,” Wolffe writes. “Biden tried to compliment Jarrett after one contribution. ‘You should be in the Senate,’ he quipped. After the meeting, as everyone returned to their offices, Obama stopped Biden to warn him not to say anything like that again. ‘It’s not funny,’ he told him.”

Ed Shultz of PMSNBC gets owned by Ron Paul

I know hardly anyone watches MSNBC, let alone this fat libtard Ed Shultz’s show, which is why I decided to show you this Youtube clip:

Most transparent administration ever: Pentagon holding back report showing 1 in 7 freed Gitmo detainees returned to terrorism

Most of us knew about these numbers already, or at least something similar (like the 61 released “victims”) that went back to the battle field mentioned earlier in the year. Now, of all papers, the New York Times? is actually reporting that the Pentagon is supposedably holding back a report showing that 1 in 7 freed Gitmo detainees have returned to terrorism. Protect Hussein’s rep at all costs Pentagon!

BUT BUT BUT! This is the most transparent adminstration ever right! Lets blame Bush!

Why Botox Nancy Pelosi must go

Dick Morris’s most recent column explains why Botox Pelosi must hit the road. Dick Morris writes this in his blog:

It’s obvious that either Leon Panetta, Obama’s head of the CIA, or Nancy Pelosi, his party’s Speaker of the House, has to go. No administration can tolerate a permanent, public civil war between two such high-ranking officials.

Obama throws Israel under the bus

Jew haters (especially those in San Francisco) and Iranians rejoice! There are growing indications that the US has come to terms with a nuclear-armed Teheran, two analysts told The Jerusalem Post on Tuesday.

“The Americans are in a state of mind according to which Iran has already gone nuclear,” said Dr. Mordechai Kedar of Bar-Ilan’s Begin Sadat Center for Strategic Studies.

Kedar, who served in Military Intelligence for 25 years, said US President Barack Obama was “at peace” with the idea of a nuclear Iran.

“You can tell from how the Americans talk. Look at how [US special envoy] George Mitchell talks, or how Obama talks. I don’t see them being pressured by this threat. They have shown no urgent desire to change this reality,” he added.

“Obama has given up,” Kedar said.

Obama denied and embarassed by his own democratic controlled Senate, AND a Federal Judge on Gitmo

Michelle Malkin has all the details of the stories breaking today.  The Senate amendment scrapping funding for Obama’s Gitmo closure has just been passed by 90-6. The decision represents a potentially serious setback for Obama, who as a candidate vowed to close Gitmo and signed an executive order beginning the process soon after he took office. Also today a federal judge rules that the US can continueindefinite detention of enemy combatants. U.S. District Judge John Bates’ opinion issued Tuesday night limited the Obama administration’s definition of who can be held. But he said Congress in the days after Sept. 11, 2001 gave the president the authority to hold anyone involved in planning, aiding or carrying out the terrorist attacks. Back to the ordering pizza for awhile Hussein while you think up what to do!

Here are the 6 democrats that voted FOR funding:

Billionaire Tom Golisano flips the bird to New York, heads to Florida

Billionaire Tom Golisano, founder of Paychex, is tired of high taxes in New York and is officially leaving that dump hole for Florida. He wrote an article in the NYPost today:

Politicians like to talk about incentives — for businesses to relocate, for example, or to get folks to buy local. After reviewing the new budget, I have identified the most compelling incentive of all: a major tax break immedi ately available to all New Yorkers. To be eligible, you need do only one thing: move out of New York state.

Last week I spent 90 minutes doing a couple of simple things — registering to vote, changing my driver’s license, filling out a domicile certificate and signing a homestead certificate — in Florida. Combined with spending 184 days a year outside New York, these simple procedures will save me over $5 million in New York taxes annually.

By moving to Florida, I can spend that $5 million on worthy causes, like better hospitals, improving education or the Clinton Global Initiative. Or maybe I’ll continue to invest it in fighting the status quo in Albany. One thing’s certain: That money won’t continue to fund Albany’s bloated bureaucracy, corrupt politicians and regular special-interest handouts.

How did the state get to this point? By spending, spending and spending some more.

More tax increase propostions TERMINATED by state voters, liberals and cryin’ Arnold begin the blame game

Voters decided yesterday on the increase in tax measures, and the propostions failed miserably, much like those running the state itself. are to decide on five propositions aimed at shoring up California’s finances and another that would freeze state salaries. One measure that did pass in California w as Proposition 1F. Proposition would prevent pay raises for legislators and statewide officeholders in deficit years. Gee, novel idea doncha think? But of course now, the liberal whiners are all up in arms that the increase in tax measures failed. Here’s a sample from the L.A. Times:

Rightly or wrongly, voters in the special election refused either to extend new tax hikes or to cap state spending. They also declined to unlock funds that they had voted in better financial times to set aside for special purposes.

Nearly a century after the Progressive-era birth of the state’s ballot-measure system, it is clear that voters’ fickle commands, one proposition at a time, are a top contributor to paralysis in Sacramento. And that, in turn, has helped cripple the capacity of the governor and Legislature to provide effective leadership to a state of more than 38 million people.

The Sacramento Bee also got in on the action. The Bee’s editorial basically told Californians to F**k off (title: “You did it! Uh, so now what?”). This didn’t go over so well with readers and Rush Limbaugh. Since the “The Bee” yanked the editorial and replaced it with a with a cut down version.

Hotair also has a video by ReasonTV as to why these tax hike props failed. In a state thats already the highest taxed state in the nation, those who voted for no tax increase are fickle now? Even those “wonderful Americans” in San Francisco? Well, I guess this mean less cross country flights for Arnold (that it while he’s still Governor) to visit Obama.

Jim Demint owns and destroys tax cheat Tim Geithner

Whats the exit strategy Timmy? “That’s hard to say right now,” is the only reply Geithner could muster when Jim Demint questioned him. Here’s the complete exchange from the Washington Post:

GOP Senator Hammers Geithner

11:29 A.M.: Geithner was hammered by a Republican senator decrying Treasury’s growing power over the American economy.

“This is not mission-creep,” said Sen. Jim DeMint (R-S.C.). “This is a stampede of any traditional understanding of constitutional boundaries.”

DeMint called Geithner the chief executive of the American economy. And he didn’t mean it in a good way.

DeMint complained that “we hear very little talk about exit strategies.” He asked Geithner how much of the $700 billion government bailout will be returned to Treasury’s general fund within five to six years.

“That’s hard to say right now,” Geithner said, deflecting: “If we are successful, that money will come back with substantial interest.”

Geithner added that the way the bailout was designed, for each $1 that is paid back, $1 can be lent back out.

“So it’s your understanding that you have $700 billion to use permanently as you see fit?” DeMint asked incredulously.

Geithner wouldn’t take the bait. “I’m not quite sure ‘permanently’ is right,” he said.

BTW, anyone remember the movie BASEketball? Doesn’t tax cheat Geithner look a little like Squeak Scolari?

More corrupt democrats – The Sanchez sisters from California

Corrupt democrats are like a broken record I know, but still. According to Michelle Malkin and Roll Call, The House ethics committee is reviewing whether the chamber’s rules were broken when Rep. Linda Sánchez (D-Calif.) put three of Rep. Loretta Sanchez’s (D-Calif.) aides on her own payroll in late 2006 because of a budget shortfall in Loretta Sanchez’s office.

Remember those famous Nancy Pelosi words: most ethical Congress ever

Finally! Michael Steele delivers a good speech!

Michael Steele FINALLY, after all his fumbling and bumbling has delivered a great speech! Steele pounds on the democrats obviously, Obama’s first 100+ days, and slams Pelosi, Reid, and my favorite part of the speech, Barney Frank!

Its now official: Once GM goes bankrupt its Government Motors

Are you surprised? I’m not. Now its confirmed. Once GM files for bankruptcy probably sometime in June, the US government will buy GM. More from the Reuters article:

General Motors Corp’s (GM.N) plan for a bankruptcy filing involves a quick sale of the company’s healthy assets to a new company initially owned by the U.S. government, a source familiar with the situation said on Tuesday. The source, who would not be named because he was not cleared to speak with the media, did not specify a purchase price. The new company is expected to honor the claims of secured lenders, possibly in full, according to the source.

The remaining assets of GM would stay in bankruptcy protection to satisfy other outstanding claims.

This picture by Doug Powers with h/t to Michelle Malkin is looking more and more accurate isn’t it?

And maybe the worst part of the whole situtation:

In addition, the government would extend a credit line to the new company and forgive the bulk of the $15.4 billion in emergency loans that the U.S. has already provided to GM, the source said.

CAIR takes credit for Benedict Arlen Specter’s cancellation of speech at free speech conference

The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), the muslim group doing something to censor free speech? Who would have thunk it! Sen. and traitor Arlen Specter was supposed to be a speaker Tuesday at a conference on the global effort to silence speech critical of Islam. But he backed out, using the excuse of a scheduling conflict. The aforementioned muslim group CAIR has taken credit for this.

Get ready to pay at least $1,300 more per car thanks to Obama’s CAFE standards

Liberal biased sites such as Yahoo will tout this story as “Obama wants increased fuel efficiency, less smog”, and bury somewhere down in the story the real effect this will have on people.

Administration officials said consumers were going to pay an extra $700, anyway, for mileage standards that had already been approved. The Obama plan adds another $600 to the price of a vehicle, a senior administration official said, bringing the total cost to $1,300 by 2016.

And so it begins… FCC crackdown on ‘racist radio’ Welcome to Venezuela

There are ways to get results much like what the Fairness Doctorine would provide, without actually passing a Fairness Doctorine. The FCC has taken an official step toward eliminating the electronic ratings system that are considered “racist”. According to Radio Equalizer:

Arbitron’s Portable People Meter (PPM) provides the first truly accurate system for measuring radio listening. Because it is passive, rather than requiring a diary to be manually maintained, opportunities for cheating have virtually been eliminated.

So now, the Obama controlled FCC is putting pressure on the government to make Arbitron change its measurement tools to ensure PC results, according to Michelle Malkin.

Mauricio Celis – democrat fundraiser crook gets slap on the wrist

Another day, another democrat crook Mauricio Celis gets off with nothing but a slap on the wrist. According to Chron, a judge today in Corpus Christi, Texas threw out the jail sentence for a prominent Texas Democratic Party donor and fundraiser Mauricio Celis  convicted of posing as a lawyer, resentencing him Monday to 10 years probation.

So much for everyone fleeing the GOP

Last month, about 50% (including leaners) considered themselves democrats, and 39% (including leaners) considered themselves republicans. Now (according to the latest Gallup poll), its all even at 45/45, for the first time since June of 2005.

Cue the liberal: Polls dont matter or Gallup is GOP biased excuse.
