Obama and the 9/11 Families – The president isn’t sincere about ‘swift and certain’ justice for terrorists.
Debra Burlingame wrote an article for the Wall Street Journal regarding Hussein Obama’s promised “swift and certain justic for terrorists”, or lackthereof. In February she was among a group of USS Cole and 9/11 victims’ families who met with the Hussein Obama at the White House to discuss his policies regarding the “poor” Gitmo detainees. Many of the families strongly opposed Barack Hussein Obama’s decision to close the Gitmo detention center and suspend all military commissions, the families of the 17 sailors killed in the 2000 USS COLE attack in Yemen were particularly outraged. Originally buying into the whole “hope and change” mantra after the meeting in February with the White House, reality is setting in, as Burlingame also writes this in her article:

Judicial Watch Uncovers New FCC Documents on Fairness Doctrine Debate
Judicial Watch, the public interest group that investigates and prosecutes government corruption, announced today that it has obtained documents from the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) concerning the “Fairness Doctrine,” a policy abolished in 1987, and other governmental means to limit free speech in the media. Another $19 billion in bailout for Barney Frank’s Fannie (Mae)
The government-controlled company said its regulator requested $19 billion from the Treasury under a funding commitment that on Wednesday was doubled to $200 billion. The flipflopping democrats continue. John Conyers decides NOT to go after ACORN
Two weeks ago, John Conyers suggested a problem of ACORN, the liberal activist group ACORN engaged in a pattern of crimes ranging from voter fraud to a mob-style “protection” racket. But yet again, which is common for politicans (and especially the left wing democrats, things change). It seems kind of odd too, that ACORN, after their spokesman got destroyed earlier this week on the Glenn Beck show (and today’s show is supposed to have former ACORN employees spilling the beans), that this sudden and drastic change occured. Need I remind people that Hussein Obama once worked at ACORN? Need I remind people that Hussein Obama also has “hired” ACORN to help with the 2010 census? Something seems a bit fishy to me.

Stephen Friedman New York FED chairman resigns
The Federal Reserve Bank of New York announced today that Stephen Friedman, chairman of the board of directors of the New York Fed, has informed William C. Dudley, president and chief executive officer of the New York Fed, and the Board of Governors of his decision to resign effective immediately. Consistent with the Federal Reserve Act, Denis M. Hughes, deputy chair of the board, will exercise the powers and duties of the chair. Stephen Friedman, chairman of the New York Federal Reserve Bank’s board of directors, resigned on Thursday amid questions about his purchases of stock in his former firm, Goldman Sachs (or as Michelle Malkin likes to call them, Government Sachs, since they are loaded with TARP money). Friedman, a retired chairman of Goldman Sachs who has led the New York Fed’s board since January 2008, said he quit to prevent criticism about his stock buying from becoming a distraction as the Fed battles a severe U.S. recession.

Saudi Arabia Beauty Contests?
Sukaina al-Zayer is an unlikely beauty queen hopeful. She covers her face and body in black robes and an Islamic veil, so no one can tell what she looks like. She also admits she’s a little on the plump side. But at Saudi Arabia’s only beauty pageant, according to Fox the judges don’t care about a perfect figure or face. What they’re looking for in the quest for “Miss Beautiful Morals” is the contestant who shows the most devotion and respect for her parents. I guess this leaves flaming Perez Hilton out as judge of this contest.
Hussein Obama to give us another dose of the “America is evil” this week with “torture photos”
This week the Hussein Obama administration plans to show how “evil” America is, is set to go into phase two. First it was the “torture memos” with the success conveniently blacked out a few weeks ago, now its going to be the releasing photos and other visual evidence that shows the “El Diablo” Bush, Dick Cheney among others allowing the CIAg rogue CIA agents to do such awesome, terrible, and painful things to to the poor little muslims at Gitmo, such as Waterboarding, the bug in the room, the “cold room” in a tropical climate, etc.
Of course, forgive me for not having any sympathy after remembering a “torture picture” like this one from September 17th, 2001:
Attention K-Mart shoppers! Obama ‘slashes’ the budget by $17 billion or 0.5%! But for what programs?
Phillip Klein at The American Spectator found what is at first look an actual, meaningful cut in the 2010 budget that is “slashed” by a whopping $17 billion, which includes a cut of $4,000,000 (9%) in the Labor Department’s Office of Labor-Management Standards from $45,000,000 to $41,000,000. Which this big “fat cutting messure”, that means that unions would suddenly find it a lot easier to skim money now that they have their people running things.

Do fret; that $4 million won’t be going back to the taxpayers, or even those that buy US Treasury bonds and bills. Current Labor Secretary Hilda Solis has a “better” use of that $4 million – the Labor Department’s Wage and Hour Division, Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs, and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration. Phillip helpfully notes that all of those entities go after “big business” and not “big labor”.
Good news for Democrats/Specter in PA – Tom Ridge wouldn’t run against Toomey
After all the speculation and the recent random polls, former PA Gov. Tom Ridge today announced that he would not seek the GOP nomination for Senate next year. In a statement, Ridge said he had been heartened by the support and encouragement he received from within the party and that it had been a difficult decision for him. He expressed a desire to still be involved in the party’s development. From PA2010:
“To those who believe that the Republican Party is facing challenges, they are right,” Ridge said. “To those who believe the Democratic Party is without its own difficulties, they are wrong. No one party has a monopoly on all of the answers. The more important view, in my mind, is that we remember, whether Republican or Democrat, we are foremost Americans. And as Americans, we have always overcome challenges when we put partisanship aside and solutions first.”
Miss California USA May Lose Her Califiornia Crown
And the beat goes on. According to AOL, the directors of the Miss California USA pageant are looking into whether title holder Carrie Prejean violated her contract by working with a national group opposed to same-sex marriage and by posing semi-nude when she was a teenage model. Pageant spokesman Roger Neal said Tuesday it appears Prejean has run afoul of several sections of the 12-page contract that all prospective contestants were required to sign before competing in the November state contest.

Hussein Obama’s old stomping grounds Hawaii now has “National Islam Day” – Guess which month it will be celebrated in?
Frankly, I didn’t even know there many muslims in Hawaii for something like this to even be a part of the state’s concern, especially after Hussein Obama left it to goto college, but alas there is. Hawaii’s state Senate overwhelmingly approved a bill Wednesday to celebrate “Islam Day” _ over the objections of a few lawmakers who said they didn’t want to honor a religion connected to Sept. 11, 2001. The “National Islam Day” resolution to proclaim Sept. 24, 2009, as Islam Day passed the Hawaii state Senate on a 22-3 vote. It had previously passed the House. According to CBS, the “National Islam Day” bill seeks to recognize “the rich religious, scientific, cultural and artistic contributions” that Islam and the Islamic world have made. It does not call for any spending or organized celebration of Islam Day. What exactly are the “rich religious, scientific, cultural and artistic contrubutions” to the State of Hawaii, much less the world? Beheadings and terrorist attacks?
Hussein Obama now threatening Israel to get rid of it’s nukes?
Will North Korea is firing missiles over Japan, Iran continues to develop their nukes, and the Taliban is within 60 miles of the capital of Pakistan and possibly about to grab the Pakistani’s nukes, Hussein Obama and his muslim roots are going after Israel. The Washington Times has an exclusive story regarding Hussein Obama’s efforts to curb the spread of nuclear weapons. Now he is threatening to expose and derail a 40-year-old secret U.S. agreement to shield Israel’s nuclear weapons from international scrutiny, former and current U.S. and Israeli officials and nuclear specialists say. The issue will likely come to a head when Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu meets with Mr. Obama on May 18 in Washington. Mr. Netanyahu is expected to seek assurances from Mr. Obama that he will uphold the U.S. commitment and will not trade Israeli nuclear concessions for Iranian ones.
Assistant Secretary of State Rose Gottemoeller, speaking Tuesday at a U.N. meeting on the nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT), said Israel should join the treaty, which would require Israel to declare and relinquish its nuclear arsenal.
