Now 21 years later, Obama is as blatantly poised to disregard his most fundamental campaign promise: “if you make less than $250,000 your taxes will not go up. Not one dime.”. Actually, Obama has already broken this promise, with the cigarrette tax, which I venture to say affects mostly people making under $250,000. Hillarious hypocrisy: Obama to take on “fine print” Fine Print Czar maybe?
Hey, lets not have any members of congress read bills like the porkulus or crap-and-tax, but darn those credit card and mortgage companies and their fine print! Obama asked Congress on Tuesday to create a new agency to police the fine print on consumer products like credit cards and mortgages and determine what fees, penalties and interest rates are fair. According to BreitBart:
The Consumer Financial Protection Agency would be in charge of regulating those products in the same way other government agencies regulate the safety of drugs, food and toys.
Obama said Americans are demanding it.
“Those ridiculous contracts with pages of fine print that no one can figure out—those things will be a thing of the past,” the president said in a statement accompanying the 152-page draft bill. “And enforcement will be the rule, not the exception.”

Loonbox Al Franken gets Minnesota’s senate seat – Dems now with 60 senate seats | Coleman Concedes
The Minnesota Supreme Court has ordered that Democrat Al Franken be certified as the winner of the state’s long-running Senate race. According to Fox News:
The high court rejected a legal challenge from Republican Norm Coleman, whose options for regaining the Senate seat are dwindling.
Justices said Franken is entitled to the election certificate he needs to assume office. When Franken is sworn in, he’ll give Democrats a big enough majority to overcome Republican filibusters.
Coleman hasn’t ruled out seeking federal court intervention.

Former presidential candidate John Edwards is out of luck if he hoped that the extramarital affairs of Gov. Mark Sanford and Sen. John Ensign would take people’s minds off his own cheating scandal.
Former Edwards aide Andrew Young says the ex-senator and his former mistress, Rielle Hunter, once made a sex tape, according to someone who has seen Young’s book proposal.
St. Martin’s Press just inked a deal with Young, who also says in his proposal that, contrary to his public statement last year, he is not the father of Hunter’s infant daughter — Edwards is. Edwards has denied that.
Young says that his belief in Edwards ran so deep that he agreed to take the fall for the candidate, inviting the pregnant Hunter to live with him, his wife, Cheri, and their three children. Later, after Hunter delivered the baby, Young and his family moved to a different home in California.
While he was unpacking, Young discovered a videocassette, according to the book pitch. Hunter had been hired by the Edwards campaign to videotape the candidate’s movements, but this one is said to have shown him taking positions that weren’t on his official platform.
The purported sex tape confirmed to Hunter that Edwards was even more reckless than he thought.
According to our source, Hunter confided to Young that she and Edwards talked about getting married should the candidate’s cancer-stricken wife, Elizabeth, pass away, even discussing what music they’d play at their wedding.

The one ignored by their media is the fact that A provincewide search for an open neonatal intensive care unit bed came up empty, leaving no choice but to send the two pound, four ounce baby to Buffalo, New York. The other important issue is that the Natalie Paquette and Richard Stinson where not permitted into the US because they do not have passports. Stinson has a criminal record, which makes matters a lot more complicated than just allowing the parents in.
