Barack HUSSEIN Obama’s speech to Muslims in Cairo – Quoting the Quran instead of the Bible

obama-picture.jpgThe Hussein Obama wasn’t your typical blame America for everything speech like in Europe, or Turkey, but he still took time to slam America more subtly. The speech was weak just as expected, and had questionable things about it. The main issue, at least to Christians may be why did Obama decide to quote Quran instead of the Bible? Was he afraid of offending the muslims? Maybe we are really a “muslim nation” now? MSDNC:

Using quotes from the Quran, President Barack Obama called for a “new beginning between the United States and Muslims” Thursday and said together, they could confront violent extremism across the globe and advance the timeless search for peace in the Middle East.

He also basically predicted America will fail (indirectly):

“Given our interdependence, any world order that elevates one nation or group of people over another will inevitably fail. So whatever we think of the past, we must not be prisoners of it. Our problems must be dealt with through partnership; progress must be shared.”

And as IsraellyCool mentions, even when Obama was trying to be nice to Israel, he was tone deaf:

“America’s strong bonds with Israel are well known. This bond is unbreakable. It is based upon cultural and historical ties, and the recognition that the aspiration for a Jewish homeland is rooted in a tragic history that cannot be denied,” he said. The missing words were those usually present in such passages about shared democratic values and strategic interests.

Yid with Lid wasn’t so impressed either, especially with his speaking of Israel.

Comparing the Holocaust to the Palestinians? Not a word on the muslims mistreatment of woman? I’m not impressed either.

Hotair actually thought the speech wasn’t bad. I beg to differ.

So as usual, the speech was weak, teleprompter generated, and a sucking up to muslims. Hey, at least was awarded Saudi Arabia’s highest honor yesterday (no, not some anti jew/anti american plaque), but an elaborate gold necklace and medallion fit for a king or a rap mogul. Hey Hussein. You earned it with that bow back in April!

    Actually what he wants to convince the Muslim world is that he is “Al Mahdi”.

    And many are being convinced of just that.

    The answer to this question is very basic speech writing class 101. When you write a speech you craft it toward the audience.The President was not teaching Christian Sunday School, he was talking to a worldwide Muslim audience.The President used terms and language they could relate to. He is trying to rebuild the goodwill we had with the Muslim community as we had just after 9/11 that the past administration lost in the last eight years.

    Did the person who wrote this really listen to Obama’s speech? The reason that the president quoted the Quran is simply because he was addressing a nation that has a Muslim majority, but he also did quote the Bible (go back and listen to it again). I actually listened to it twice, he was not sucking up to anyone, he made his points very clear. And oh, BTW, he did speak about women rights, stressing mostly on the point that women can contribute to socities in the same way men do. I’m not sure why the need for adding oil to the fire, Obama addressed many issues that are of great interest to the US, the Middle East and the rest of the world, he was at the heart of the Muslim world and he was inviting Muslims to fight extremists, encourage democracy, fight for women’s rights, acknowledge the existance of Israel, build relationships with the US and the rest of the world and encouraging young people to contribute to the change that should happen in the Muslim world. What is it the you are trying to show us here, we are not deaf, we heard what he said and we understand English. So I suggest before posting comments like this, that promotes hatred and more problems that we definately don’t need, try encouraging people to do things to help improve relationships with Israel, fight extremism, encourage women to fight for their rights…etc.

    whats wrong in making up to te muslims?
    whats wrong in bowing to the saudi king?
    dont you recognise that a major % of US wealth was made by the grace of saudi? starting from desert storm to today when still a major chunk of saudi oil money and land is unconditionally gulped down by US?
    you cant bow a little for that? who are you
    ? and why should obama bow to the british quen? is she the ruler or helper of that nation?
