George Orwell’s 1984 turns 60 today

Ironic too, that Orwell’s “political ficition” 1984 is looking more and more like present day. For those of you who don’t know the story of  Orwell’s novel 1984, it basically warned of the centralization of political power and the lengths that a totalitarian regime, led by Big Brother, would go to maintain its control over society. Sound familar?
