The real change we need! 2 NY dems switch to GOP, giving them control of NY senate

Two New York state senate democrats have switched party affiliation, joining the GOP, giving the GOP the majority in the state of New York’s senate! NY Senate Majority Leader Malcolm Smith can kiss his positition byebye. The flip of senators Pedro Espada Jr. of the Bronx and Hiram Monserrate of Queens gaves Republicans a 32-30 edge in the chamber. Keep taxing the living daily lights out of New York’s citizen dems! This is just the begining of the change New York needs!  Hopefully someone will step up in 2010 and get rid of Chuck Schumer in 2010!

    Here are the 2 Democrats that switched:

    Hiram Monserrate, D-Queens, was indicted in March on three counts of second-degree felony assault and three counts of third-degree misdemeanor assault after he was accused of slashing his girlfriend’s face with a piece of broken glass.

    Espada, D-Bronx, failed to file timely campaign finance reports with the Board of Elections and failed to pay more than $60,000 in fines. Then Senate Majority Leader Malcolm Smith threatened to take “immediate action” if the situation was not resolved.

    With sleazy behavior like this, seems like they were already Republicans. You can have ‘em! They represent heavily minority districts here in NY so they won’t get re-elected.

    Seriously Syntax! you dont need to give us their records we already know if they were, are or were ever affiliated with the democrat party then they areor were crooked and have records some sort. thats just politics 101. Im sure yo have one too!
