Former Massachusetts governor Mitt Romney has seen his favorability ratings improve and now the general public: 40% rate him favorably, 28% unfavorably. Sarah Palin, whom I like better than Romney, has a 45% favorbility rating, and 44% unforably rating, according to the latest Pew poll.

Sanford is going to have only a short-term impact here, but with him out of the running, I still think Palin’s chances just improved.
I think Sarah Palin just needs more experience and has to do more “homework”. So she might be a far better politician. But at her current state she really would have been a bad vice president.
