Trina Thompson – Monroe College grad sues to get back $70,000 in tuition, because she cant find “gainful employment”

Hey, at least Trina Thompson graduated from Monroe College and got her Bachelors degree. She’s been a graduate since April. So after 4 months of graudating and not being able to find a job (like at least nearly 10% of the entire American population), she wants her $70,000 in tuition money back? Trina Thompson was an information-technology student and blames blames Monroe’s Office of Career Advancement for not providing her with “the leads and career advice it promised”. More from the New York Post:

“They have not tried hard enough to help me,” the frustrated Bronx resident wrote about the school in her lawsuit.

“She’s angry,” said Thompson’s mother, Carol. “She’s very angry at her situation. She put all her faith in them, and so did I. They’re not making an effort.

“She’s finally finished [with school], and I’m so proud of her. She just wants a job.”

If Thompson wins this lawsuit, does this mean I can sue the federal government for not providing to me the “change I need”?
