Another crooked democrat bites the dust: William Jefferson convicted on 11 counts of corruption. Jefferson files for bankruptcy

Yes, the same William Jefferson who had stuffed $90,000 in a freezer back in 2005 was found guilty of 11 of 16 corruption charges today by a federal jury. William Jefferson now 62, once represented the New Orleans-based 2nd Congressional District for nine terms. Had Jefferson been conviced of all 16 corruption charges, he would have faced 235 years in prison. Update 8-31-09: William Jefferson and his wife Andrea  files for bankruptcy. Too bad, so sad, byebye.
