Trial of the first defendant Letalvis Cobbins in the murder of Channon Christian and Christopher Newsom begins – Aug 27 POS gets life without parole

For anyone who remembers the horrifing murder case of Channon Christian and Christopher Newsom backing 2007 and the absolute ignoring of this from the wonderful state run media, he trial of the first defendant Letalvis Cobbins began yesterday, more than two and half years later after the horrifying murders which occurred by in January 2007. The pile of s*it is guilty of 1st degree murder.

8/27/09 – Letalvis Cobbins got life without parole. According to one of Michelle Malkin’s readers who sent this news, Cobbins will more likely only serve 25 years or so, or less if state budget constraints dictate otherwise, like whats happening currently in California. DIGUSTING!

Thank you for covering this story. I had not heard of this horrific crime against this beautiful young couple until this week. It is time to change our laws and methods of punishment in this country for cases such as this. These perpetrators do not deserve to live and their deaths should be as painful as the death they sentenced upon Channon and Christopher. We must stop this senseless crime spree in America!

Agreed, Rebecca. At the very least, for crimes as brutal and savage as was perpetrated upon the two innocents, we need to bring back public hangings in the town square, for all to see. If nothing else, watching a murderer dancing off the end of a string should serve as a deterrent to would-bes. Truly what has been committed deserves nothing less!

I live in Knoxville and as I sat on my couch this evening and saw that this POS did not get the death pentaltly, well, let’s just say there is no justice for the families of the murder victims. I am disgusted. Where is Jesse and Big Al to demonstrate on this case?
