Democrats definition of “working” – playing solitaire on their computers in Connecticut

Want to see how Connecticut democrats spend their time “working”? State lawmakers in apparently consider “working” to either be playing Solitaire or watching a game online. Good job! Michelle Malkin has the pics. If this is how it is in Connecticut, i’d cringe to think what they might be “playing” with on their computers in California, Illinois, New York, or Massachusetts. Now that words has gotten out about this, largely thanks to Malkin’s original blog post, Connecticut democrats are playing damage control. The following statement was sent to Fox News and posted by Malkin at her site:

Our members have discussed and debated the state budget for seven months, culminating in yesterday’s marathon, 13 hour budget session. With little new ground being broken, and the results of the upcoming vote a reasonable certainty, a momentary diversion is understandable. Both representatives insist there was no intent to disrespect the minority leader during his presentation.
