Glenn Beck thinks John McCain would have been worse for the country as President than Obama? Mark Levin doesn’t like it

Ok, i’m not going to deny being a fan of Glenn Beck, but this is a head scratcher, and something liberals are gonna be creaming themselves to. In an interview with Katie Couric of all people (why is Beck even bothering with the “Fringe Media” as he calls them), he claimed that he thinks John McCain would have been worse for this country as President than the current Marxist pig? He also claims he would have voted for Hillary (who is nearly as slimy as Obama) had she won the DNC nomination. Now look, i’m no fan of John McCain either. Personally I hope a real conservative in Arizona steps up in 2010 and knocks him out of the Senate, but how could ANYONE think, at least someone who claims to be “watching out for the people”, done all the exposing of Obama, ACORN, the SEIU, etc possibly think McCain would have been worse than this? Maybe this is some sort of way for Beck to generate publicity for his new book or smth, I just can’t figure it out.

But Glenn Beck is not the “enemy” of conservatives or,  as The “Other” McCain points out, nor is he “bad for conservatism” as the whackjobs on MSNBC claim.

Listen to Mark Levin’s reaction (Levin also dumps on Ron Paul for all you Ron Paul Fans too):

Maybe Glenn Beck is a political opportunist. Looks like he says anything that will improve his ratings, book sales and give him notoriety. Maybe he really doesn’t hate Obama. Maybe he really isn’t worried about socialism. Maybe Beck has just found an entertaining schtick that audiences want to watch. Maybe his fans are just being used, maybe they are merely a means to a profitable end. Maybe it is all about him and his moneybags and NOT about conservative or libertarian principles
