Jimmy Carter backing off race baiting

Lets go back to the Jimmy Carter with Brian Williams of NBC, when he said this:

I think an OVERWHELMING PORTION of the intensely demonstrated animosity toward President Barack Obama is based on the fact that he is a black man.

Does that not sound like he’s calling those opposed to Obama’s policies racists? Here’s what he said today though:

Of course, Jimmy Carter also called Obama “that black boy” earlier in 2008. Calling someone black “boy” was also considered racist at one time. I guess Democrats have changed that too.
