Congressional approval drops to 21%, Democrats drop 18 percentage points in one month!

After the Messiah took office, Congress’s approval rating spiked to 39% in March, which is actually above the average for Congress. So far for the month of October according to Gallup, Congress’s job approval ratings has plunged to 21%, down 10 points from last month. Congress’s disapproval rating has spiked to  72%, which is the highest since January of this year, when it was at 76%.

Approval of Congress today is significantly below the average 36% rating found across the past two decades. During the first half of this decade, Congress’s approval rating was mostly in the mid 40s to mid 50s, before plunging in 2006 when the Republicans lost Congress. Democrats in Congress have seen an 18 percentage point drop from September to the first week in October! For September Democrats approval rating was at 54%. However, according to the latest Gallup poll, they’ve fallen all the way down to 36%, an 18 points drop in less than a month!
