When we returned for post surgery care back home, the doctor said it was the best looking bone surgery he'd seen in years. It was a quarter of the price that it would have been in the states, and the doctor gave us his home phone number and called us several times each day to check on our son-- The nurses were fabulous too. the hospital itself was clean, but not at all fancy-- no bells and whistles, but all the necessities were there. I'm tired of protecting the health care insurance corporations-- lets give everyone the care they need. In europe they don't call providing health care socialism - any more than they would think of providing education as socialism. I heard a Dane say-- we don't think of it as socialism, we think of it as civilized-- I agree!
