More Obama polling low records: 26% strongly approve and seven straight days in double digits PAI – 42% of independents strongly disapprove only 18% strongly approve
The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Thursday, October 22nd now shows that only 26% voters polled strongly Approve of the way that Barack Obama is performing his role as President. This is now the new low point for Obama since becoming President. Also, today is the first time during Obama’s time in office, the Presidential Approval Index has been in negative double digits for seven straight days.
If you break it down by party and independents, only 50% of Democrats Fifty percent (50%) Strongly Approve of Obama’s job performance. 66% of Republicans Strongly Disapprove of his performance. But probably the most important numbe are those not affiliated with either major political party. With independents, only 18% Strongly Approve of Obama’s performance, and 42% Strongly Disapprove.
