The NRCC dumps Dede Scozzafava in NY-23

doug-hoffman73wire and RedState have mention they have heard that the NRCC is pulling out of NY-23. 73wire says it’s coming from a credible source familiar with the operation inside of the beltway Committee. The blogger at 73wire says he’s on the ground and has personal confirmation from an additional, credible source that the NRCC is indeed pulling back its operation here in New York’s 23rd Congressional district special election. RedState also has this info:

The NRCC tells me directly that they are only spending money on anti-Owens ads. The anti-Hoffman YouTube? Gone. The anti-Hoffman press releases? Gone. The anti-Hoffman everything else? Gone.

The pro-Dede Scozzafava stuff? Gone too.

The RNC ground crews? They are pulling out to New Jersey.
