Lou Dobbs leaves CNN
You had to see this coming for months right? Lou Dobbs doesn’t tow to left wing line at CNN, had his home/wife fired on by left wing loons a few weeks ago, and is against illegal immigration. Everything that CNN would consider “extremism” (unlike the muslim terrorist that shot up Fort Hood). So tonight Dobbs announced he is leaving the network, the anchor and commentator said Wednesday.
“Over the past six months, it has become increasingly clear that strong winds of change have begun buffeting this country and affecting all of us,” Dobbs said during his 7 p.m. broadcast.
Dobbs, 64, said he discussed the issue with CNN President Jonathan Klein, who agreed to release him from his contract and “that will enable me to pursue new opportunities.”
He said he was considering “a number of opportunities and directions.”
I’m hoping those oppurtunties include Fox News and Fox Business.

Hello, (I hope this is the correct place for this comment… I am totally new to this forum)
I have been a supporter and self identified Republican for 32 years and easily I am a fiscal conservative. I equally enjoy my Roman Catholic faith and belive in core Christian values.
Yet I can not wrap my mind nor heart around what I see my GOP leadership doing to both my political party and the country at large over the last several months.
I was curious if there are other concerned Republicans out there not overly happy with the Anti-American rhetoric and Anti-Christian behavior from those in our party.
I am praying at some point we Republicans will get back to doing what we do best for the American people and stop playing politics when things out here in the real world are so dire, when so many folks are stressed and afraid.
I personally elect my politicans to go to Washington and work hard on behalf of all Americans not just the right. I expect them to work with the left and allow our democracy to work for all the people.
In going to this “back to basics” and “Republicanism 101″ we can begin to win favor with the vast numbers of our party who have left and may never return otherwise.
This posting is not intended to offend anyone just curious if other folks in my political party feel this way too. I understand the politics of whats going on, I just do not understand how the country benefits or I and my family benefit from this scorched earth aproach to the political process put forth by my own republican party.
