Sarah Palin’s Going Rogue sells 700,000 copies in its first week of release

going-rougeThe AP had to painfully report that Sarah Palin’s “Going Rogue” is well on its way to becoming a million-selling author. “Going Rogue” sold 700,000 copies — a number that includes pre-orders — in its first week of release, according to a publishing official close to the former Alaska governor. However, the official was not authorized to release the sales figure and asked not to be identified. Of course, at the end of the story, the AP gleefully points out that Bubba Bill Clinton’s “My Life” sold more than 900,000 copies in its first week back in 2004. What this has to do with Palin’s book I don’t know. Of course, I can understand that a lot people were interested in how Clinton came up with the idea to use cigar holders during affairs in the White House.
