McChrystal “satisfied” with Obama’s half-assed plan of adding 34,000 troops to Afghanistan

obama_snobEarlier in the week the AP reported that Obama was going to “announce” his decision on more troops for Afghanistan, ranging between 32,000 and 35,000. McClatchy is reporting the total with be 34,000, and it will be announced on Tuesday, December 1st, during yet another Prime Time address from Obama. McCrystal’s plans ranged from 10,000-80,000 additional troops to “win” the “war of necessity”.

According to Hotair, unnamed “military sources,” McChrystal couldn’t object to this publicly even if he wanted to, especially given the uproar after his speech in London. This coming from Obama’s official mouthpiece of NBC. There’s also no timetable for withdrawal in Obama’s “plan”.
