Needing 218 votes to pass PelosiCARE, the vote was 220 Yea and 215 Nay. Joseph Gao, from Louisiana’s 2nd district an overwhelmingly Democrat district, who hasn’t had a Republican rep since 1890 was the lone “Republican” to vote Yea for the Bill. Guess who Gao replaced in 2008? None other than Cold Cash William Jefferson! What does this all mean? Not a whole lot as most people expected this to pass the House with the overwhelming majority. Much like Cap and Trade, people don’t expect this to survive in the Senate.
Nidal Malik Hasan taken off ventilator
According to the AP, A U.S. Army spokesman says the Nidal Malkik Hasan has been taken off a ventilator but still remains in intensive care at a military hospital. Spokesman Col. John Rossi told reporters on Saturday at Fort Hood that he is not sure if Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan is able to communicate.

Nidal Malik Hasan worshipped at a mosque linked to 9/11
Major Nidal Malik Hasan worshipped at a mosque led by a radical imam said to be a “spiritual adviser” to three of the hijackers who attacked America on Sept 11, 2001 according to the UK Telegraph. Hasan, attended the controversial Dar al-Hijrah mosque in Great Falls, Virginia, in 2001 at the same time as two of the September 11 terrorists. Hasan’s mother’s funeral was also held there in May that year. The preacher at the time was Anwar al-Awlaki, an American-born Yemeni scholar who was banned from addressing a meeting in London by video link in August because he is accused of supporting attacks on British troops and backing terrorist organisations. You think Obama gives a crap about the shootings at Fort Hood? Considering the Muslim Nadil Malik Hasan played a homeland security advisory role in Obama’s transition into the White House, according to a key university policy institute document, I guess this should could as no surprise. While the evil Dubya his wife Laura Bush spent a couple of hours at Ft. Hood, no photo op, no fuss, just their support to the families, Obama after twisting some arms today on Capitol Hill to try and get PelosiCARE passed, he and his American hating wife decided to pop off to Camp David.
Heritage foundation cost of PelosiCARE: $2.6 Trillion! Judd Gregg $3 Trillion!
As Heritage analysts noted earlier in the week, the Congressional Budget Office released its preliminary score of the bill (H.R. 3962) that was about $1.8 Trillion, ReidCARE clocking in at $1.7 trillion. Of course, no one in the media mentioned it. I didn’t even hear a word about the new CBO costs mentioned on Fox News. Only place you could find it was on the internet. But today the Heritage Foundary has posted the real story about the true cost and it is even more dramatic than originally thought. The bill is front loaded with taxes, and back-loaded with spending in the first ten years. Since most of the spending in the House bill does not fully go into effect until 2014, the 10-year cost estimates based on the preliminary CBO score (for years 2010 through 2019) only account for six years of new spending under the plan. Once it is implemented (over a full 10-year window from years 2014 to 2023), the giant House health bill carries a price tag of $2.4 trillion, or as much as $2.6 trillion with the “doc fix.”! According to RedState, Senator Judd Gregg: estimate of House Bill will cost $3 TRILLION!

Iran tested advanced nuclear warhead design – secret report
The Guardian (UK) mentions that the UN’s nuclear watchdog has asked Iran to explain evidence suggesting that Iranian scientists have experimented with an advanced nuclear warhead design. But of course as we all know, Iran only only nuke technology for “peaceful purposes” right? The Guardian says taht the very existence of the technology, known as a “two-point implosion” device, is officially secret in both the US and Britain, but according to previously unpublished documentation in a dossier compiled by the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), Iranian scientists may have tested high-explosive components of the design. Judicial Watch filed a Freedom of Information Act lawsuit on July 14th that obtained documents in August from the CIA regarding the results of the CIA’s detainee interrogation program, including a June 3, 2005, report entitled “Detainee Reporting Pivotal for the War Against Al-Qa’ida.” Last week, Judicial Watch received two different versions of this report from the CIA. White House gives “blunt warnings” to democrats to not appear on Fox News
Chicago style politics has never been as blatant as it is now. With all the talk about some BS truce between Obama/Fox News, at least one Democratic political strategist has gotten a blunt warning from the White House to never appear on Fox News Channel, according to The Swamp. One Democratic strategist said that shortly after an appearance on Fox he got a phone call from a White House official telling him not to be a guest on the show again. The call had an intimidating tone, he said.
Hypocrite! Obama says don’t jump to conclusions on Nidal Malik Hasan Fort Hood shooting
Ok let me get this straight. What we’ve already learned about Fort Hood muslim killer Nidal Malik Hasan was that he was anti war, praised suicide bombers, shrieked ALLAH AKBAR before going on his shooting spree, and in 2003 said “Muslims should rise up and kill the aggressors”. Yet the hypocritical President, who back in July claimed a WHITE cop was racist and stupid for arresting Henry Gates is now telling Americans “don’t jump to conclusions” about Hasan.
“We don’t know all the answers yet. And I would caution against jumping to conclusions until we have all the facts,” Obama said in a Rose Garden statement otherwise devoted to the economy.
“What we do know is that there are families, friends and an entire nation grieving right now for the valiant men and women who came under attack yesterday,”
Just like in Ohio, many California jobs ‘saved’ by stimulus funds weren’t in jeopardy
The Sacramento Bee is a liberal biased fish wrap. Yet, they report that up to one-fourth of the 110,000 jobs reported as “saved” by federal stimulus money in California probably never were in danger. In this case its probably safe to assume that this percentage is on the low side. The same BS about “Jobs saved” was revealed in Ohio.
The recession is over! Unemployment jumps to 10.2% – Actually the REAL rate is 17.5%
No its true! The recession is over says the likes of Ben Bernake, and anyone on the Obama team. The unemployment rate is just a “lagging indicator” of the economy. Well this lagging indicator just jumped 0.4% in ONE MONTH from 9.8% to 10.2%
the highest rate since April of 1983. And yet the $787 billion stimulus was supposed to create all those jobs and this rate wasn’t supposed to climb above 8%. So far the Porkulus has done nothing more than paying for GPS enabled choppers looking for rat droppings, study the Nancy Pelosi fish in San Francisco, etc. Among the major worker groups, the unemployment rates for adult men 10.7%, Whites 9.5% Women 8.1%, Teenagers 27.6%, Blacks 15.7%, and Hispanics 13.1%. The unemployment rate for Asians stands at 7.5%

The arrogance of this man knows no bounds. Two and a half hours after the shooting at Ford Hood in Texas by a muslim, Obama couldn’t even comment on the incident without first giving his “shout outs” and babble about other things.
