Bush Shoe Thrower Muntadhar al-Zeidi gets shoe thrown at him!

Remember this last year?

Muntadhar al-Zeidi became a hero to the left wing loons in this country. There was basically 24 hour liberal media coverage of this nut job Iraqi Muslim throwing a show at then President Bush. Liberals almost creamed themselves for days at the youtube clips of this. Well, turnabout is fair play I guess. According to Fox News, the Iraqi journalist Muntadhar al-Zeidi who threw his shoes at President George W. Bush in Baghdad last year nearly got beaned by a shoe thrower at a news conference in Paris. All Muntadhar al-Zeidi could do is whine:

“He stole my technique,” al-Zeidi later quipped.

The motivation and identity of the “new” shoe-thrower aren’t known at this time, though he appeared to be an Iraqi. It was not known if the intruder was a journalist or just pretended to be one to attend the news conference at a center for foreign reporters. Maithan Al-Zeidi, the loser’s brother, chased the attacker in the audience and — pelted him with a shoe as he left the room.
