Obama hits yet another new low in approval ratings – 44% in Rasmussen!

While Obama’s PAI gained a “point” from yesterday’s new record of -19 to -18, Obama has yet again set two new records for himself. According to the latest Rasmussen poll, only 44% of voters say they at least somewhat approve of the President’s performance. That’s the lowest level yet measured for Obama. Previously, his overall approval rating had fallen to 45% twice, once in early September and once in late November. Fifty-five percent (55%) now disapprove of Obama. This is also a new record for the Messiah. The previous “high” for disapproval for Obama was 54%, set back on November 24th and 25th.

As one would expect, the differences are split along party lines with Seventy-two percent (72%) of Democrats now offer their approval while 80% of Republicans disapprove. However, the most telling of this poll is that among independents, Obama only has a 36% approval rating!
