Wikipedia Pronounced Rush Limbaugh Dead

rush-limbaughPray as they might, liberals wishing for the death of Rush Limbaugh are reaching epic proportions. In my post about Limbaugh being “rushed” to the hospital last night, I also listed a few samples of the “peace loving” liberals on twitters reaction to the news, and wishing death upon him. Now lets move to liberal biased Wikipedia. Known for their liberal bias and plans to get rid of the “climategate” entry, Radar Online’s exclusive story mentions that Wikipedia actually were a little too prepared for the the liberal dream and shortly after the news broke that he was hospitalized, Wikipedia updated his page – and pronounced him dead.

Folks (like us) who happened to take a look at Limbaugh’s biography, saw this:

Rush Hudson Limbaugh III (pronounced /ˈlɪmbɔː/;born January 12, 1951, died December 30, 2009) is an American radio host and conservative political commentator. He is the host of The Rush Limbaugh Show, the highest-rated talk-radio program in the United States. It airs throughout the U.S. on Premiere Radio Networks.

That was posted shortly after midnight, EST.

Rush, of course, was very much alive and about 15 minutes later Wikipedia pronounced him so, altering their bio by removing the information that he had died.

Limbaugh remains hospitalized Thurday.

Saw link to blog on twitter. So much hate and nasty comments about Rush – you’d think he was the second Hilter. (No, they would kinder to Hitler.)
When I commented “So many mean & nasty comments” I got a mean and nasty comment from ArrestRoveNow.
Happy New Year and God help us!

    Was it a drug overdose?

Are they sure he’s at the Queen’s Medical Center and not the Kapi’olani Medical Center?

What was he in doing in a “foreign place” anyway?

This happens with just about every famous person who is hospitalized & the public finds out about it. Some random person comes along and updates their page for either attention purposes or just to be a jerk. Usually they’re taken down quickly, with it being the middle of the night when this happened volunteers probably weren’t watching as closely.

That brings me to thing about this article that bothers me – you keep referring to “Wikipedia” as though it’s one person or organization controlling everything. Keep in mind it’s a large, open, volunteer-based group of all political persuasions and nationalities. It’s not like Jimmy Wales is sitting at his computer, making decisions about what facts go into the encyclopedia…. he’s more concerned with funding the site to keep it alive.
