Obama threatening Rep. Bart Stupak over abortion language in Senate Health Bill
Bart Stupak author of the “Stupak Amendment”, which is the anti government funding of abortions amendment in the House version is the health care bil is now being pressured from both Obama and Democratic leadership in the House of Representatives. According to CNS News, Obama and the House Democrats want Stupak to keep quiet on the “compromise” abortion language in the Senate version of the health care bill.

As the South Carolina Attorney General Henry McMaster announced today that intends to organize his counterparts in different states to investigate dealmaking that sealed a final compromise on federal health care legislation, one of Michelle Malkin’s blog readers e-mailed the photos with this message:
“Saw this in small town Nebraska today less than 50 miles from Ben Nelson’s home town. This is pretty surprising to me because this is strictly an agricultural area. Nelson has consistently catered to the agricultural interests in Nebraska and so is pretty popular among the farmers and ranchers in the area. Federal subsidies are a huge percentage of area farm income. But this last deal may have been the straw that broke the camel’s back.”

Instead of just retiring like other “blue dog” Democrats have been doing over the past several weeks, Alabama ex-Democrat, and now Republican rep Parker Griffith is the latest to jump off the sinking ship known as the Democrat party. According Politico, Parker Griffith announced Tuesday that he’s switching parties because he can no longer align himself “with a party that continues to pursue legislation that is bad for our country, hurts our economy and drives us further and further into debt.”

What’s that smell? Its Obama’s trust and approval with the American people burning down to the group. After claiming that somehow the Senate passage of health care bill will pump his ratings up to 60%, it seems it’s having the exact opposite effect. Today on Rasmussen’s daily tracking poll, Obama shattered his previous PAI record of -19 by hitting -21. Also, after hitting a record of 43% strong disapproval rating yesterday, Obama’s new record today flies past that coming in at a record high of 46% strongly disapproving.

According to Howard Dean and far left Wisconsin senator Russ Feingold, the administration is to blame for the public option’s aka the government run option exclusion from the Senate’s healthcare legislation. Russ Feingold blames Obama by saying (according to the Hill):
“I’ve been fighting all year for a strong public option to compete with the insurance industry and bring healthcare spending down,” Feingold said Sunday in a statement. “Unfortunately, the lack of support from the administration made keeping the public option in the bill an uphill struggle.”

According to the Weekly Standard, Senator Roland Burris who was appointed by Blago to take Obama’s vacated Senate seat is claiming credit for a provision in Harry Reid’s “manager’s amendment,” unveiled Saturday morning, that could funnel money to ACORN through the health care bill.

North Dakota Senate race – Republican Governor John Hoeven leads Byron Dorgan by 22 percentage points!
Should current North Dakota Governor John Hoeven run against current Senator Byron Dorgan in 2010, he Hoeven should be able to easily snatch the senate seat away from another socialist who voted for cloture last night. In a state where Obama only has a 41% approval rating, which is lower than average Rasmussen’s latest poll finds Hoeven leading Dorgan 58%-36%. However, the other Republican challenger trails Dorgan 37%-52% if Hoeven doesn’t run.
Vermont and Massachusetts get big last minute payoffs too for the Senate health care bill!
I guess the other the Democrat sellout Ben Nelson’s Cornhusker Kickback was small afterall. According to Politico, Vermont, which is represented by the once-wavering Sen. Bernie Sanders, would receive $600 million over 10 years for its Medicaid costs, according to Congressional Budget Office figures requested by Senate Republicans. Massachusetts would see $500 million, according to the CBO. Nelson, who has been lambasted throughout the day, steered only (!) $100 million to his state to cost the full cost of the Medicaid expansion.

You wanted change America? Welp, you got it! Irony? December 21 2012 is supposed to be Armageddon, and December 21st 2009 the Senate votes for cloture on ObamaCARE? Kind of an odd coincidence eh? I’ve been saying it for months, Michelle Malkin says it on her blog post, there are no such thing as a “moderate” Democrat. The 60 “YEA” votes were all Democrats (Well, all 58 Dems plus two so called Independents – Lieberman and Sanders). The Democrats voting for this included the so called “moderate”, “conservative” or “centrists”, Bayh, Lincoln, McCaskill, Landrieu, Ben Nelson, Webb, etc. Final cloture vote: 60-40.

This must be the so called “mystery hospital” I mentoned earlier. Chris Dodd, aka Friend of Angelo got another sweetheart deal. This is a $100 million addition to the Senate health care bill for Chris Dodd is $100 million for construction of a University of Connecticut Hospital! AP reports:
