Congrats to the great citizens of Illinois. As a consolation prize for not getting the 2016 Olympics for Chicago, you have been selected to house some of the world’s most dangerous terrorists! A senior Obama administration official has told ABC News that on Tuesday the administration will announce that Obama “has directed that the federal government proceed with the acquisition of the Thomson Correctional Center in Thomson, Illinois to house federal inmates and a limited number of detainees from Guantanamo Bay, Cuba.”

Remember back in October, when Juan Williams was on the O’Reilly Factor with Warren Ballentine? White House orders Harry Reid to cut a deal with Joe Lieberman
Chicago style! Politico reports that the Obama White House is encouraging Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid to cut a deal with Sen. Joe Lieberman. This would mean eliminating the proposed Medicare expansion in the health reform bill, according to an official close to the negotiations. Last week when flaming liberals like Anthony Weiner of New York were creaming their pants at the thought of this back door government option for ObamaCARE, its starting to blow up in their face.

I don’t know if the temperature in the room rose to a million degrees like AlGore claims the center of the Earth to be, but its getting hot over in Denmark! According to the BBC, negotiations at the UN climate summit have been suspended after developing countries withdrew their co-operation.
Obama hits yet another new low in approval ratings – 44% in Rasmussen!
While Obama’s PAI gained a “point” from yesterday’s new record of -19 to -18, Obama has yet again set two new records for himself. According to the latest Rasmussen poll, only 44% of voters say they at least somewhat approve of the President’s performance. That’s the lowest level yet measured for Obama. Previously, his overall approval rating had fallen to 45% twice, once in early September and once in late November. Fifty-five percent (55%) now disapprove of Obama. This is also a new record for the Messiah. The previous “high” for disapproval for Obama was 54%, set back on November 24th and 25th.
Senate Approves Omnibus spending bill which includes government Funding for abortions in Washington DC
On Sunday, the senate approved a $1.1 Trillion omnibus spending bill. Of all the pork in this bill, Fox News mentions that:
The 1,000-plus-page bill covers spending for the Departments of Education, State, Health and Human Services, Transportation and Housing and Urban Development, among others. In all, six of the 12 spending bills Congress is required to pass each year is folded into one measure that raises spending for its designated programs by an average of about 10 percent, or well above the inflation rate.
But what you may not have already known, and as usual what media is not reporting is that is that this omnibus spending bill will also lift the 13-year-long ban on directly paying for abortions in the nation’s capital. Joe Lieberman and Ben Nelson on Harry Reids public option “compromise” – still not good enough
Its hard for me to believe any Democrat when they say they are against something. Much like Republicans they lie through their teeth and vote for something anyway. Much like the recently passed Omnibus bill with over 5,000 pork projects included. Both Liberman and Nelson had problem voting for that measure. But today on Face the Nation, Lieberman and Nelson both claimed that Harry Reid’s so called “compromise” wasn’t good enough for them for vote for the bill. In fact, both Lieberman and Nelson claim that a Medicare “buy-in” option for those aged 55-64 was a deal breaker for them. According to The Hill:

December 22nd Rally in Sterling Illinois to stop Gitmo terrorists from being sent to Thomson Correctional Center
Yesterday the “leaked” DoJ memos came out about shipping the Gitmo terrorist scum to Illinois. Also, the Illinois legislature is also considering Governor Quinn’s (and the Obama Administration’s) plan to sell the Thomson Correctional Center,to the federal government to house the Gitmo detainees. The panel will meet in northwest Illinois, where the correctional center is located. Not everyone in Illinois is exactly thrilled about this news. As is mentioned on Big Government, a rally against sending these scum to Illinois is planned for December 22. The rally, organized by the Illinois Tea Patriots and the Band of Mothers, has been in the works since November when the Obama Administration’s plans initially surfaced. It is scheduled to be held three days before Christmas, on December 22, outside the State Officiated Public Meeting at Sterling High School, Sterling Illinois, at 1:00 pm.

The failure continues. For Saturday, December 12th, Obama has set yet another record in his polling. Today he sits at -16 PAI on the Daily Rasmussen tracking poll. This is now the lowest level of PAI Obama has had to date. The previous low was -15 set on November 25th. He has also tied his lowest ever level of “Strongly approve” at 25%, and is only 1% above his all time lowest approval level rating of 45%.
