Yet another Democrat member of Congress bails – Hawaii liberal Neil Abercrombie
Hawaii Democratic Rep. Neil Abercrombie announced Friday that he will resign before the end of his term, just days after another Democrat, Rep. Brian Baird, announced his retirement. A source told Fox News that liberal Abercrombie is resigning so he can focus on running for governor of Hawaii. In a written statement, the Hawaii congressman said the effective date of his resignation will be announced soon, and that it was a difficult choice.

Max Baucus’s girlfriend Melodee Hanes got a $14,000 pay raise and was taken on trips with PUBLIC MONEY
This isn’t quite on the level of Mark Sanford who’s wife has filed for divorce today, but its not far off. While Max Baucus didn’t pop off unannounced to South America to visit his mistress, instead he used our tax payer money to give a raise to his girlfriend Melodee Hanes and pop off to Asia with her on our dime. While Baucus isn’t a sitting Governor of a state like Sanford is, Baucus is chairman of the powerful Senate Finance Committee and the author of the current Senate ObamaCARE bill. According to Politico, he gave a nearly $14,000 pay raise to a female staffer Melodee Hanes in 2008. At the time he was becoming romantically involved with her, and later that year took her on a taxpayer-funded trip to Southeast Asia and the Middle East, though foreign policy was not her specialty.
But thats not all. According to Fox News, Melodee Hanes, Baucus’ former state director and now his live-in girlfriend, reportedly met at least twice with the Montana Democrat’s divorce attorney to talk about the Baucuses’ divorce eight months before the senator and his wife separated!
Democrat Warmers Edward Markey, Jay Inslee, and Earl Blumenauer compared climate change “deniers” to “teabaggers”
Since liberals are so good at inventing names for anyone who doesn’t bow down to their believes with things like “birthers” or “teabaggers”, anyone one of these liberal nuts who believes in the sham of Global Warming is to be known as Warmers. According to The Hill three Democrat Warmers – Reps. Edward Markey (Mass.), Jay Inslee (Wash.) and Earl Blumenauer (Ore.) compared climate change Global Warming “deniers” to “teabaggers” who spread the false rumors. These three warmers also compared it to the about death panels and swift boaters who attacked Sen. John Kerry’s (D-Mass.) war record during the 2004 presidential race. Of course, right after Sarah Palin spread the word about the “death panels”, language in the House bill was mysteriously changed the next day. These warmers also compared that denying humans were causing climate change is like denying smoking causes lung cancer.

According to Pakistan media: Drone attack killed al Qaeda’s No. 3 in command – Abu Yahya al-Libi
The “number 3″ in command of al Qaeda, Abu Yahya al-Libi has been allegedly killed by yesterday’s missile strike according to Pakistan media. However, the U.S. has yet to confirm this. According to CBS:
Obama skips “Save the Children” benefit concert, pissed off Norwegians use cardboard cutout of him instead
Obama, with his nose in the air accepted his Nobel Peace Prize for not being Bush. Start off the speech that actually was good, then of course going into the blame America mode which is more his style, and especially the Europeans. Though he should have felt right at home in Norway, he had no time for them before popping off to Copenhagen. Obama skipped several traditional activities for Nobel Peace Prize winners. The Seattle PI reports on the activities the Messiah decided to skip.
Democrats to lift debt ceiling by $1.8 trillion
Democrats are preparing to raise the federal debt ceiling by as much as $1.8 trillion before the New Year. Their strategy is to make sure this debt ceiling is taken care of before the 2010 elections and before they decide to raise it again. From Politico:
“We’ve incurred this debt. We have to pay our bills,” House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer told POLITICO Wednesday. And the Maryland Democrat confirmed that the anticipated increase could be as high as $1.8 trillion — nearly twice what had been assumed in last spring’s budget resolution for the 2010 fiscal year.
No Dookie On Your Noodle! Kevin Jennings GLSEN 2005 conference promoted anal sex in parks with strangers at teen conference
Gateway Pundit breaks yet another disgusting story revealing Kevin Jennings, Obama’s safe school czar and his organization GLSEN.
The children who attended Kevin Jennnings’ GLSEN 2005 Conference also left with their own “Little Black Book – Queer in the 21st Century”.
Here’s one page from that Black Book for teens:
The entire Little Black Book is posted here. And, here’s the transcript from item #3 above:
“No Dookie On Your Noodle! Nobody knows better than queer men that shit happens. It’s just a fact of life…and buttsex. While there are steps to take to avoid a mess, they’re not always practical for the boy on the go. Condoms allow you a certain freedom that can be a great selling point if you’re cruising the park and don’t want stray spunk on your new polyester shirt…”
So, basically, in the crudest language imaginable, GLSEN recommended that “boys” go out cruising for anonymous anal sex in public parks with strangers.
Thanks to a reader for pointing this out.Today Kevin Jennings, the founder of GLSEN, is Barack Obama’s Safe Schools Czar.
Obama’s support among Jewish voters has dropped 31 percentage points since January
It always puzzled me why so many Jewish voters supported Obama, especially with his ties to Jew haters such as Rashid Khalidi and Rev. Wright. Well, according to the Republican Jewish Coalition website, Obama’s chickens may be coming home to roost when it comes to the Jewish vote. In January when Obama took office, 82% of Jewish people polled approved of Obama. Today, according to the latest Quinnipiac poll, that number has fallen 31 percentage points to only 52%

Sarah Palin liked Obama’s Nobel Peace Prize acceptance speech
Sarah Palin apparently liked Obama’s defense of “just wars” during his Nobel Peace Prize acceptance speech. In an interview with USA TODAY, Palin said that the Obama’s address in Oslo, where he accepted the Nobel Peace Prize today, reminded her of what she wrote on the same subject in her hugely successful memoir, Going Rogue.

CNN poll: GOP has erased party popularity gap in Congress – plus 61% oppose ObamaCARE
Obama really has accomplished something, along with the so called “most ethical congress ever!” A party with no leader, a party who’s exiting President had approval ratings in the 20%s and was hated all over the world should have meant the end of the Republican party. At least for a decade or two. But according to CNN, Eleven months before crucial midterm elections, a national poll indicates that the public is divided over whether the country would be better off with Democrats or Republicans controlling Congress. The CNN/Opinion Research Corp. survey released Thursday reveals that, 40 percent of people questioned say the U.S. would be better off if Democrats ran Congress while 39 percent feel things would be better if Republicans took charge on Capitol Hill. The 1-point margin is a statistical tie.
Support for Democrats is down from a 10-point advantage in August and a 25-point margin in January.

Finally! Fox News comes out of its shell and mentions the sicko Safe School Czar and GLSEN’s child porn reading list
I don’t know why it took them so long, but finally on the Hannity show last night in an interview with Michelle Malkin there was discussion about the sicko Safe School’s czar Kevin Jennings and GLSEN’s child porn reading list. Malkin also tries to make reference to the “fisting” kits given to 14 year olds, but was cut off. Still not a word about this from Beck, O’Reilly or Greta.

Harry Reid asks for weekend off – To attend a Fundraiser with his Louisiana Purchase Mary Landrieu
Harry Reid, who so desperately wants to get the ObamaCARE bill finished by Christmas, is now urging Republicans on the Senate floor to forego a debate on several conference reports this weekend in order to give Senators and staffers the weekend off. You know they work so hard in the Senate and all. Here’s dingy Harry’s quote from ABC:
“I understand the Republican leader doesn’t want us to do health care. I appreciate that. He and I have different positions on that,” said Reid. “I see no reason to punish everybody this weekend and I hope the minority will give strong consideration to the proposal that i’ve made.”
The Audacity of hypocrisy Obama tells GOP: ‘Stop trying to frighten the American people’
Isn’t it amazing how a party with absolutely NO control in America has so much power in DC and over the American people? The GOP supposedly in shambles, getting destroyed in the last two election cycles (minus the recent Governorships) suddenly has the power to frighten the America people. At least that’s what someone who I believe who has set a record for using the word crisis in their first term has said. According to The Hill, Obama told House Republican leaders to “stop trying to frighten the American people” even as he and Democrats said they see a possibility for bipartisan cooperation on job creation legislation.
Al Gore to Sarah Palin on climate change – its like gravity it exists – Sarah Palin responds
From now on, anyone who believes in this climate change farce should be called Warmers. We have truthers for those who think 9/11 was an inside job, and birthers for those who believe Obama wasn’t born in America, so why not Warmers for global warming nut jobs? Speaking of warmers, Al Gore the biggest nut of them all had a response for Sarah Palin’s Washington Post OpEd with our buddy Andrea Mitchell from MSNBC:
Gore bit back during an interview with NBC’s Andrea Mitchell to air Wednesday afternoon. The former presidential candidate said “the deniers are persisting in an era of unreality. The entire North Polar ice cap is disappearing before our eyes … what do they think is happening?”
Gore said Wednesday that the scientific community has worked intensively on the issue for twenty years. “It’s a principle in physics,” he told Mitchell. “It’s like gravity, it exists.”
In reponse to ManBearPig’s comments, Sarah Palin shot back on her Face Book page. For those who don’t have accounts, here is what she said:
Another House Democrat to Retire – Brian Baird of Washington
The rats are really jumping ship! Brian Baird is now the third Democrat to officially retire after Reps. John Tanner (D-Tenn.) and Dennis Moore (D-Kan.) announced their retirements. Also, according to The Hill, six Democrats are leaving their seats to run for another office.
“The time has now come to pursue other options, other ways of serving. Hence, I am announcing today that I do not intend to seek reelection to Congress in 2010,” the six-term congressman said in a statement. “This is not an easy decision to be sure, but I believe it is the right decision at the right time.”
Who would you rather have as president? 50% say Obama 44% say Dubya!
Hope and Change? The world’s favorite punching bag, George W. Bush aka Dubya, who had approval ratings in the high 20%’s at the time he left office is only 6% behind Obama when it comes to who people would rather have as President. I kid you not, the most recent PPP poll shows this.
A little history lesson for Harry Reid
Historians are begining to fault dingy Harry Reid’s curious reference to the Senate civil rights debates of the 1960s. Liberals almost must have forgotten how it was a Democrat who assassinated Harvey Milk. Also according to the Wall Street Journal, Liberals and Democrats tend to forget that it was Southern Democrats who mounted an 83-day filibuster of the 1964 Civil Rights Bill. The final vote to cut off debate saw 29 Senators in opposition, 80% of them Democrats. Among those voting to block the civil rights bill was West Virginia Senator Robert Byrd, who personally filibustered the bill for 14 hours. The next year he also opposed the Voting Rights Act of 1965. Mr. Byrd still sits in the Senate, and indeed preceded Mr. Reid as his party’s majority leader until he stepped down from that role in 1989. You know, the same Robert Byrd who was a proud member of the KKK? The same Robert Byrd wrote a letter in 1946 to the group’s Imperial Wizard stating “The Klan is needed today as never before, and I am anxious to see its rebirth here in West Virginia.” Byrd defended the Klan in his 1958 U.S. Senate campaign when he was 41 years old.
NBC’s “Law and Order” episode to feature a conservative talk show host is put on trial for murder based on creating a ‘climate of hate.’
One of Michelle Malkin’s blog readers named “Alex” e-mailed her this latest gem from the liberal loon media and NBC:
“During the finale of ‘The Biggest Loser’ last night, NBC aired a promo spot for an episode of Law and Order where a conservative talk show host is put on trial for murder based on creating a ‘climate of hate.’ I know you’ve covered this aspect of the census worker story…”
As if this isn’t bad enough, Law and Order is even going to use the the “FED” in ink scrawled on a dead body. Remember, the Kentucky census worker that committed suicide but was blamed on “hate” from conservatives? They even posted one of the promos for the show for this on their website:

Friend of Angelo Chris Dodd asked to drop out of 2010 Senate Race?
Remember this happened to New York Governor David Paterson when Obama asked him to drop out of the 2010 Governor race? Now there’s rumors going that nervous Connecticut Democratic leaders have asked on of the Friends of Angelo Chris Dodd to drop out the 2010 state Senate race. Dodd of course denies these rumors according to Political Wire:
Sen. Christopher Dodd (D-CT) was “asked about rumors that some anxious Connecticut Democratic leaders have urged him to consider stepping out of the 2010 Senate race in favor of Attorney General Richard Blumenthal,” the Hartford Courant reports.
However, Dodd said he had not been directly confronted by party officials and quipped, ‘they can’t be more anxious about it than I am.”
Obama has now pissed off the Norwegians over snubs
How does Obama thank the Norwegians who awarded him the Nobel Peace Prize for doing nothing? Cancel a series of events normally attended by the Nobel Peace Prize winner. Yes, the Norwegians are the latest country fuming over Obama’s arrogance. Obama has declined a lunch invitation with the King of Norway. That’s probably what’s pissed off the Norwegians the most. But Obama has also cancelled many of the events peace prize laureates traditionally submit to, including a dinner with the Norwegian Nobel committee, a press conference, a television interview, appearances at a children’s event promoting peace and a music concert, as well as a visit to an exhibition in his honor at the Nobel peace center. According to a poll published by the daily tabloid VG, 44% of Norwegians believe it was rude of Obama to cancel his scheduled lunch with King Harald, with only 34% saying they believe it was acceptable. Of course, you wouldn’t hear a thing about this from the lame stream media in America, but the Guardian in the UK has the more.
